[It's possible to run into Jaune in Nova City. He's not paying attention to his surroundings, and he might not notice someone he recognizes at first. And if he doesn't recognize them, then there's a disheveled teenager who looks like he hasn't shaved, much less changed his outfit in a week wandering around.]

[He's in no position to interact with other people. At best, he's unable to hold a conversation as he's putting all of his focus into holding some semblance of keeping it together. At worst, he's snapping at the people important to him, pushing them away the same way he had been, and he doesn't like the raw, empty feeling it leaves. He's not very good company right now.]
