[The Archways]

Tifa stood at the cross roads. It was a lot to take in at once. Where to go? The folder had been informative, but experiencing something was something completely different than reading it on a piece of paper. She thumbed through the high-tech PHS she was given, unsure whether she should trust it just yet with communicating. She noted that other people were using it for various reasons. She could talk to them, but to her it wasn't the same. It felt detached.

She gave an annoyed sigh before pocketing it again. Standing around wasn't going to to solve anything. It wasn't going to get her closer to home. It wasn't going to help her run into anyone she may know here. Time to choose.




[Commonspace and Streets]

For the time being, Tifa was fine with her temporary residence. She was used to living in tight, shared quarters. As long as she had a private place to sleep and bathe, she had no issues. The money is was provided with was good enough to keep her afloat food wise until she could find work.

As much as the idea of settling in a place that wasn't home rubbed her the wrong way, she knew it was something that had to be done. If she was lucky she'd be back home the next morning. Worst case scenario she would be stuck in this strange land with no work and no money. Work would keep her grounded, and sane for the time being, again, if she could find it.

There was also the matter of a change of clothing. She couldn't just go around wearing the same thing daily, without proper washing facilities. More things to invest in, less money she had until she could find work. You'll make it work she minded herself, as she locked the door to her studio and ventured out into the city streets.





[Open]

OOC: Tifa will be exploring all nooks and crannies that she can. Could be coming into your place looking for work, friend, etc. Pick a time and place (any time any place), and we'll make it work.

That wasn't an answer that Tifa quite expected. "Really, what was that place like?" She couldn't imagine, being held captive like that, only to be released to a place that wasn't your home. "Why did the goddess finally release you?"

"It was an island. A lot smaller than this place. Not nearly as advanced either. We didn't have multiple cities and everyone that appeared had collars put on them." A lot worse than this place.

"We also had to have sex or the goddess would kill us." Probably the weirdest part about it.

"I guess she got bored of us or something."

Tifa took a step back, a bit shocked. If she had pearls, she might've been clutching them. "Okay, I'll remember not to complain so much about this place, because that sounds awful."

"Yeah. It got pretty rough. The sex was good, though. But still." Being forced to do it wasn't exactly pleasant. "I've seen a few people here that I've met back on that world. The gods or whatever do this sort of thing must pull from the same pool."

"I'm sure it was." Okay this was getting awkward. Subject change, subject change. Oh, he met people from there? "At least you have friends here then, right?"

"None of them really remember being there. So, only slightly." He shrugs a bit. "But I've made friends here anyway." Johnny knows he's a pretty likable guy. He has no problem befriending people.
