[Video] Well that's weird
[Groggy and confused was a much better state than he expected to be in. Alive was a better state than he expected. Maybe he wasn't alive? It was pretty easy to die when one's airship was destroyed under their feet.
After fiddling with the phone for awhile, and dropping it twice, he gets it working. He might as well ask, right?]
Greetings. I will not waste time inquiring about how this... world works but I must know how it is that most come to be here. The circumstances that led to my being unconscious before arriving were dire, leading me to believe that this is either some kind of afterlife or that my mind is locked here while my body is controlled by a very powerful entity.
The complexity of the illusion makes it unlikely that the dragon is behind this. Unless it is far more intelligent than previous speculation suggests.
[As calm as his words are, he looks concerned.]
Is it common for others to arrive here in the middle of a deadly encounter? If there are other sylvari that can hear me now, I would be exceptionally grateful to know how you came to be transferred to this place. I still feel a connection to the Dream, though it is fainter than I have ever felt before.
I welcome any explanations that disprove my theories.

[Now it's definitely interesting to hear about dragons of other worlds.]
That is...interesting. Who are the Elder Dragons?
[Are they like Sornieth's deities?]

My- Where I am from, the Elder Dragons are great beasts that seek to devour all magic on Tyria. They destroy any and all in their path, leaving behind corrupted land that is near impossible to heal. Tyria faces many threats, but they are the greatest, by far. There are as much forces of nature as living creatures.
I'm unfamiliar with Sornieth, or specific breeds of dragons. What varieties I know mimic their masters. I doubt they are much like your kin.

There was a time with the deities fought each other, because they had different visions of what they wanted the world to be. Their feud nearly destroyed the world, so they made peace and created regions of the world in their own vision instead. And then dragonkind was given birth to help shape the world.

[Was the Pact stalling or stopping that cycle? He didn't know.]
It is... good dragons are not so hostile or destruction in all places. I would not wish the plague that is the Elder Dragons on anyone else. They have destroyed more than can ever be remade.
[He shook his head, now wasn't the time. He couldn't help it being at the front of his mind, still, he was in the middle of engaging one such beast when he was snatched here!]
I take it dragons are quite common on Somieth?

Dragons are the dominant species in Sornieth...but the Beastclans aren't too happy about that...
[She can't help but wonder if this is how the Beastclans view dragons in Sornieth...just destructive beasts and nothing more.]

There is conflict beyond the dragons on Tyria. Conflict of some kind is hard to avoid, on any world it seems.

[There was the Shade, but thankfully dragonkind hasn't had to deal with that, personally.]

The impact of the dragons creates great instability in Tyria, there are many groups grasping for power at any given time in the wake of their destruction. Even my own kind fight among each other constantly, except in rare cases that the dragons become more of a pressing issue than tearing at each other's throats.
Venting my woes about the state of Tyria is not what I intended, I apologize. I'm curious the circumstances around which you arrived here?

[She definitely shares the worry of what's going on back home while they're stuck here.]
I'm not sure how I ended up here. I was with Cane and Snowy, and we had just encountered Erebus for the first time. The next thing I know, I woke up in the Bay. I don't know how I ended up asleep in the first place...

[Of course he didn't know any of those names, but he could assume that wasn't too frightening of circumstances. He wasn't sure if he wanted evidence for this being the afterlife anyway. Scary thought.]

[She still finds herself shaking whenever she talks about the encounter.]

We don't have to speak of it, if it distresses you. I get hasty in my search for a solution at times. Perhaps it is best you are here, it is hard to say.
