[Luke was not happy with his curse. The cravings he'd had for blood he'd done his best to ignore but it was getting unbearable. Even regular food didn't help.

He stayed in the shadows out of direct sunlight, another side affect of being a vampire.

Finding a alley that was dark enough he moved to slump down the wall.]

This sucks...

[Well, Jade isn't happy either. He has horns spouting out of his head, and sport a pair of small demon wings out of his back. He's been stuck like this for nearly a week now. He's tired and drained beyond belief.

He's looking for Luke, because the both of them have been avoiding each other. But he is worried about him too, as the both of them are not doing well with their transformations.

He send Luke a text on his phone, asking him where is he]

"Luke, where are you? Are you okay?"

[replicascion]

[His phone buzzed with the text bringing his attention away from his hunger for a brief second.

Looking at the text he debated on whether or not to just ignore it.]

[TEXT]
Fine. Just resting.

[jadedkill]

[Now Jade isn't quite sure what the heck he is, but for some strange reason, he felt insistent in finding him. Very insistent. Like he doesn't want to leave him alone. Jade didn't know his transformation is that of an incubus.]

Are you sure? You don't want me to help you?

[replicascion]

[Honestly Luke doesn't know what Jade is either so he can't help out in that department]

[TEXT]
I don't know.

The fact that demons or vampires don't typically exist in their world, but vampire exist in fiction is a thing.

Either way, Luke's answer add some more....frustration? Why Jade is frustrated more than normal...? Jade don't understand what he's feeling? Normally he's a rational man, but he's concerned about Luke. And he doesn't like that they're avoiding each other.

Yet, Jade wonder what is he? Some sort of demon...? Hm. Demons don't exist.

Luke was worried about how his hunger would make him act around Jade...or anyone for that matter and was just trying to hide out til whatever curse it was ended, but it was becoming painful.

[TEXT]
I'm in an alley. Not far from the inn.

He was giving in, he knew he needed help.

At his answer, Jade felt...strangely happy? That Luke need his help. He wants to help. What's going on with him. He felt weird, like he depends on the person's answer to give him some sort of fulfillment to his own emptiness.

Jade exit the inn, and walked. Though he's completely exhausted like a man who starved and deprived himself off of food for a week...or in this case, energy. So he ambulates with a slow cadence to go find where he thinks Luke is.

And he found him struggling with his own hunger in the alley.

"Ah, Luke there you are." A pause. "...Why you're avoiding me? It's because I look like this?" His tone isn't angry, but like very exhausted. Wait, Jade typically don't ask that type of question, but his question comes from feeling hungry...for something he can't explain.

Luke looked pale...and he was sitting on the ground with his knees up to his chest as he looked Jade over.

"No it's not that...I just don't know if I can control myself around anyone..."

His hands were shaking a bit as even being close to Jade was making him hungrier.

Jade comes a little closer. Strange feelings, he must come closer. Jade isn't too emotional, normally. He's drawn to his helplessness and anger.

But then when he's close enough, he kneeled down to his knees, so they can be at the same level, and he try to maintain eye contact with him, with Luke looking down, shaking from hunger.

"Hmm, well, what are you...?"

Jade noticed the sharp fangs. "Are you cursed to be a vampire? Everglade is pretty far away if we walk by foot." Considering where they are.

Why did he have to get closer, it was making the want to pounce him near impossible to ignore.

"I can't drink blood..."

He wasn't going to give into this curse.

"I heard there are blood bags in Everglade. Do you think we can walk and get there by foot?"

Tilting his head, seeing Luke is struggling with the great temptation. "Of if you can't hold your hunger, I would offer you my wrist or my neck."

Luke shook his head. Blood bags or not he didn't want to drink blood.

"It's just a short term thing right? I can just wait it out."

This was a total lie that he kept telling himself.

If he refused, then there's nothing Jade can do, but he sees another way to improve the situation...such as not leaving Luke out here in the cold. "As you wish, but sleeping and resting in the alley all night is a bad idea and doesn't sound to comfortable."

Jade reached out and offer his hand.

"Don't stay out here. We can't lose you now. Let's take you back to the inn, so you can take a rest and sleep it off."

[firefandance]

It wasn't like Yukiko could really go anywhere beyond wondering around the city most of the time thanks to what she had changed into. Being part horse was just not fun at all.

With a sigh she had gone to turn around the corner, she paused when she noticed someone slumped down against a wall. It made her move toward them.]

Are you okay?

[Luke looked up at the centaur and paused just staring. That was definitely something he hadn't seen before]

Not exactly...I take it this is not your normal look either?

[firefandance]

It really isn't. Though it now makes me wonder if there should be adjustments for those who are like this normally.

[Because not being able to get into buildings easily was a nightmare for her with her work and all.]

But you didn't answer if you were okay or not? I assume not but you don't want to talk about it.

[ Slinking through the shadows was something he'd always excelled at, and since becoming a vampire was actually making it come in handy. So it was no surprise when Karma found himself right in the same alleyway as Luke, raising an eyebrow at the other's slumped form against the wall. ]

Looks like you really aren't taking this whole vampire thing easily, are you?

[ It was just a guess, seeing as he was looking just as pale as him and sticking to the shadows here as well. ]

[Luke had his knees to his chest and just shook his head. Honestly, he just couldn't make himself drink human blood]

[comesaround]

[ It takes a second for him to fetch something out of his pocket and he lightly tosses it over so it's at Luke's feet. Containing a red liquid, it appeared to be one of the blood bags he picked up in everglade earlier. ]

There. You're gonna die if you don't actually eat anything, you know.

[He looks at the blood packet. He honestly had no want to drink human blood even if it was so nicely packaged but his hunger got the better of him as he quickly tore into it and drained it.

He made a face at the taste, it foreign to him]

How long does this last...
