Nova City Trick-Or-Treat Walk!

WHAT: Halloween Trick-or-Treat Walk

WHERE: Nova City, near the Guardian Skywalk
WARNINGS: Hopefully not many? Adorable trick or treaters and just goofy Halloween fun tbh. Some of the characters are still affected by the curse but this is mostly just a happy lil log.

[ While each of the Guardian and Deputies is required to have their devices on for alerts in case something does happen, most of them are in front of the Guardian Skywalk this evening for a special event! Kids can go around visiting each of the Guardians, who are all volunteering to hand out candy. There are a couple of attractions set up for the kids nearby- a ring toss, a bean bag toss, laser tag, a kettle corn stand, and a stuffed animal claw machine. It's nowhere near the size of a real carnival, just big enough to get the kids out and have some fun. Naturally, it's a safe place for everyone and it's free for anyone 13 or under. Adults are welcome if they pay with a limit of one prize per game (seriously, this is for the kids, don't be a dick).

Each of the Deputy Guardians has a huge pillowcase of candy to give out though, so feel free to go up to any one of them to chat or to get some sugary goodness, see the costumes, or just enjoy the cool night air! ]

"Sometimes when it gets really stressful, Sun and I will climb Tokyo Tower and have fruit salad. I also like having spa days as long as I can get away without anyone else finding out."

Climbing Tokyo Tower outside of the observation deck is definitely not strictly legal, but Weiss can sometimes be persuaded to do things like that.. and after the first time, it just became easier.

"Organizing things is relaxing for me too. It helps me clear my mind, and having strict order over everything I'm doing helps me feel like I'm the one in control instead of the other way around."

Just a few things, though Weiss wasn't sure that Satsuki would find tabs and labels to be the most meditative practice.

"Climbing Tokyo Tower? That does not sound like you, particularly compared to the other examples." Satsuki replies, though her expression remains neutral. She can't help but suspect that Sun may have something to do with it, but it's still an interesting piece of information on its own.

Ah, the mention of organizing. It instantly brings Satsuki back to when the two of them first met, though of course one could fail to see how that could be relaxing in any way- but the reason behind it does bring clarity.

"Is organization strictly a single person activity in this case?"

"I'm admittedly easy to talk into things when it's someone I trust and there's no harm in it or I think it'll do good."

There are some things she can be incredibly stubborn about. There are some people she obstinately won't listen to. But when it comes to having fun, relaxing, or just trying something new, she defers to her friends more often than not even if she puts up a little resistance at first.

"No, not if everyone involved has the same goal and ideas."

"Hm; I could see that." she replies, even if she is still a bit skeptical of some of the company Weiss keeps. On the other hand, it isn't like she really knows them all that well either.

Following the last statement, she nods once more. 'Same goals and ideas' is a particularly sticking quote there; Satsuki believes their goals are certainly similar- but the ideas to go about it quite different. It actually gets a bit of a smirk to form on her features, if only for a moment. "Well then; perhaps once things settle down I may be able to see your organizing in action? I would be interested in seeing how that works."

"If things settle down first I doubt I'll need much de-stressing," Weiss joked. As if there would ever be a day here when there wasn't something stressing her out. She could just stand for it to be a day when she wasn't on the edge about it. "I'll let you know next time I do a big job, how does that sound?"

Genessia certainly can be counted on to be some sort of annoyance, that's for certain, so maybe she should have been a bit more specific, but still- Satsuki doesn't chuckle at the first comment, but it does garner a small smile.

And after that. "That sounds acceptable. Well then, I shall return to my dutie-" Satsuki gives Weiss a salute before she's suddenly standing straighter with wide eyes. Well that's great, time to deal with a kid who's decided it's a good idea to grab her tail.

Weiss tilts her upper body so that she can see exactly who's got Satsuki, but her eyes turn up to the Deputy Guardian to see how she's going to react before doing something herself. After all, that.. might have something to do with why the kids aren't thrilled with her costume too, depending on how this plays out.

Satsuki doesn't seem to recognize the brat, but having her personal space invaded is something that one, somewhat, gets less shocked by when one befriends a certain koiball. And yet there's certainly a part of her that misses the intervening of her Elite.

As Satsuki stares at the kid, the youth simply giggles as she points and cries, 'I got you!'. Though the celebration is short lived when Satsuki lifts her tail, and the kids arm in the process (with a surprised yelp), twirls her around, then slips from the grip to send the kid stumbling away via pushing the small of her back.

Beat it, kid!

"Actually, I would like to request a ten minute break," Satsuki cooly says to Weiss.

Weiss watches Satsuki. Not exactly A+ interaction with kids, but she didn't fail. It's acceptable, if leaving plenty of room for improvement. She'd give it a solid C.

"You're welcome to it."

She deserves it if that's her level of affection for children and she's still been participating.
