Kodachi had the nicest dream.. In this dream she was a princess sprawled out on a velvet couch being served fruit by five shirtless Ranma's though one of them had the head of a shark and one was wearing a lion's head. But that all made sense because it's a -dream-! But! She suddenly woke with a snort to the sound of a newsletter hitting the door, "Nnghugh..."

She picks up the newsletter, then draws it open as she talks to herself, "Oooh, I know what Ranma would like for his next birthday," she giggles to herself, "I wonder where I may be able to purchase a lio- Oh?" Her birthday is in late June.

Suddenly a flower vase flies across the room which smashes against the wall with a violent shatter.

[The feed clicks on revealing a shoulder up shot of a furious looking teenage girl adorn in a black pajamas and a serious case of bed hair.]

Would someone kindly tell me who.. No, what creature is responsible for this disgusting.. rancid... twisted perversion of literary failure and tries to pass it off as a horoscope??

WHAT? We? I didn't have anything to do with this!

[ Glancing to Sun, Akane pointed. ]

I was with her earlier, and saw she was acting dodgy, so I followed her. I saw her talking with you in the park, and you ate -something- of hers, and then just dropped. Then she picked you up and started carting you off back here, talking like you were some kind of pet.

[Kodachi squeaks again, and takes a bigger step back from Akane when she yells she's mean. She's SO MEAN!]

A- Akane... How.. How could you..? You were the one that said that I should-

[She collapses to her knees, with a hand to her cheek. A single tear falls down her cheek.]

All right, I understand.. You are correct, Akane.. You had nothing to do with any of this, it was I and I alone that came up with this plot. It is but a mere coincidence that you are here now.

[Sun opened his mouth to say something, but stopped. Who was he supposed to believe here? Kodachi looked like she was really distraught here, like she really had been forced to do this even though she didn't want to. But it could have been an act..]

Okay. This is all pretty confusing. And someone would have to be out of their mind to think I was a pet. Or want me as one for that matter. [He gets enough of that kind of thinking back in his own world.]

There's no coincidence about it - I said I followed you when I saw you carrying that guy off. [ Why hide something like that? She's totally innocent! Though Kodachi's cuteness and drama-chops tend to make people believe her more than the rough-around-the-edges tomboy. ]

And you'd have to be out of your mind to buy into that act of hers. [ Akane grumbled sullenly. ]

Anyone with two eyes can see you're not some pet. [ Not like her P-chan! .... waait.. ]

It is as you say..

[Kodachi replies with the intent of sounding like she's being forced to agree. However she then smacks her fist upon the ground, then zips to Sun's side to try and take his arm. It's time to pump this confusion to full throttle!]

Akane! Say what you will about me, but I will not have you take this tone with poor, innocent Sun! You know not a thing!

Oh, dear Sun, you mustn't be so hard on yourself! Anyone would be so very lucky to have you by their side! You've a healthy appetite, such a kind demeanor.. You deserve to be fed anytime you wish!

If I must choose between Akane and you.. Then I choose you!

Uh..I'm flattered, really. [She gets his arm, but he's sort of kind of trying to politely pull it away from her now.]

But no one is making you pick between me and your..um..whatever she is to you. [Boss maybe? Friend? It was difficult to figure out because he didn't know what in everything she was saying was true.]

Maybe I should just like, go back home.

[ Ugh. URRRRRRRGGH. He's just as bad as Ranma, not shutting down Kodachi's nonsense from the beginning. ]

[She says breathless and flat. The poor thing. Of course Kodachi will come to apologize later (and not mean it of course) because that's what good friends do! That said, she looks shocked by Sun's decision to go home.

Well, she can't knock him out now, but perhaps she'll be able to woo him into being her pet. Because.. That's.. How it works.

Or something. Needless to say his tug only makes her clutch tighter, behaving much like a python. A cute python!]

Oh but Sun, you mustn't! Akane gets upset with me all of the time but you, you're different!

[She glances away, shy-like.]

At the very least allow me to make up for the inconvenience I've caused to you I.. I feel simply dreadful. Please don't leave.

[You are so manipulative, Kodachi. Why must you make it so difficult to see through your act? It is so very confusing! Sun watches as Akane leaves, still unsure who the real villain is in this situation. They both acted as if they had nothing to do with knocking him out and dragging him all the way here. And Kodachi, your tight grip betrays that shyness a little bit. ]

No..no that’s fine. I think it is just for the best if I go back to my place and rest for now. Today has been…interesting. [And that feels a bit like an understatement.]

[She's just been eating her vegetables, that's all! But that aside, Kodachi looks increasingly disappointed.]

O- oh.. Well, yes, I suppose it has.

[She resists the urge to attempt to bash him over the head with something heavy, and lets his arm go to boot! After that she pokes her pointer fingers together.]

Well.. I suppose I shall go home as well, then.

[All alone.. By herself.. She looks so miserable!]

[If you bashed him over the head, then he'd know for a fact that it was you that masterminded this entire thing.]

Don't look so sad. It's not like you aren't going to see me again. [He pats her on the head.]

[Awwww, isn't that just adorable! Sun is acting just like a pet owner! It's such an amusing gesture that, despite trying to fight it back, she ends up giggling with her fingertips raised to her lips.

You win this round, Fauna.. This round.]

Oh all right.. It was a pleasure meeting you, Sun, I had a wonderful time.

[She curtseys, then waves as she walks back inside the apartment. Oh her legs are going to kill her!]
