14th Fan Assault | Video
It's been a while since I have spoken like this, but I found myself making sure that my travelling healing group is going strong and doing well, which thankfully it is.
[She was at least glad about that either way. It meant now she could focus on another thing she wanted to do and was making steps towards.]
However, what I will be saying next will be... more than a little odd. But I am planning on running for Fayren Guardian.
[She tapped her chin lightly for a brief moment.]
As for my campaign, mine is simply I am there for the people. The ideas I do have would be something I would be willing to talk to the Guardians about, even if I don't win, I would at least want basic first aid to be something for both Guardians and deputies so if they are ever involved in a case where they are needed to protect and someone gets hurt, they can deal with it quickly.
The other thing I am campaigning for is the removal of the security dolls. While I understand... the guardians idea of that, it just creeps people out, myself included, but doesn't really deter people from doing crimes. I would want to find a way to make the people feel safe and not make them anxious.
[She places her hands in front of her.]
If you have any questions you want to ask, please do. I am always happy to answer them. [She bowed slightly.]
Thank you for listening.

I honestly am curious as I have made attempts to make my dolls less 'creepy,' but it seems you just can't erase this irrational anxiety."
video;
It isn't and wouldn't be as effective more than likely, but if it helps put people at ease a tiny bit to come to us with problems then that's good.

video;
Sadly, we don't know them well enough to know why a person might not.

[One of her helper dolls appears briefly on screen to place a cup of tea before her.]
"Some other things I want to point out. Would you really remove a feature that a handful of people find slightly creepy and replace it with a currently unknown, less efficient system that likely, by your own admission, protect people's security less effectively?
Surely you have noticed that the Hands of Decay have been less active ever since the dolls were put into place?"
video;
Sometimes it's the simple things that our current Guardian either doesn't want to do or can't, which either way isn't a good thing. Even if it's not the dolls fault, the Guardian might have some blame from not reaching out.
How can you say something might be less effective? You won't know until it's actually in place. I assume it's because you would be out of work if they were taken away, right? Since the dolls are yours technically. I mean you have done nice work, but... Actually question, can dolls look like they have a little bit of life in them instead of looking lifeless because sometimes it's simply that, that might creep people out.
I believe that is more likely a combination of the people who worked hard to deal with them and maybe the dolls rather than just the dolls.
video;
As for your question, I've already tried making my dolls more life-like, even more so than they already are. Remember that irrational anxiety I mentioned before?
More importantly, though. Communication is a two-way road. If you do, by some miracle, win the Guardianship, can you really devote as much time doing your job and regularly speak to the people?
When something has to be done, and you show your proposal to the general public, are you going to wait for their opinions before you make your move? Didn't something horrific happen the last time you waited?
You cannot just expect a Guardian to take time out of their busy schedule to probe the people for problems with their decision-making as a Guardian. Guardians make one to many decisions through-out their terms and if the people do not come forth and actually say anything, then how is the Guardian going to know what's wrong? Even if the Guardian does ask, there is no guarantee that the people will actually tell them anything.
How many people have you actually asked? So far, the only complaint I saw was from the kid who swears every other word. Where are the implied masses crying out for the removal of my dolls? Are you implying my dolls are ineffective? If so, where's your proof?
Did you even think any of this through before running for Guardianship?"

That's your whole campaign? "Be there for people" and "ew dolls are weird lol." This is why women shouldn't vote. Not one substantial issue or even flimsy campaign promise, just feelz.
Satori's a dumbass, but you're just straight up retarded. Aren't you that same dumb bitch who failed to warn everyone about a serial killer? You know, Adachi? The guy that nearly killed like five or six people? I feel safer already.
[Anon][Text][NSFW]
But sadly, I at least know my mistakes and learn from them like I did with the Adachi thing. I owned up to my mistake. You however will always be the same sad person who has nothing better to do than be a bully behind a phone because you live a sad, sad life. I would say I feel bad for you, but that would mean actually caring.

[Have an unamused Mewtwo.]
From what I can tell, your entire platform is based on a bit of a fallacy. The crime rate in Fayren has been quantifiably affected in a positive way by the dolls. The instances of crimes committed are quickly apprehended and rectified, as well as serving as a deterrent. These are undisputible facts.
And yet you would replace them with what? Something that would resemble Martial Law? Pardon me but that sounds exceptionally ill advised.
[Video]
If we can get those to step forward then we would really know the true crime rate.
[Video]
Again, your argument is fundamentally flawed. No system is perfect, however ignoring the visible and very real and positive affect they have had on the crime rate is dangerous. The dolls are not actively preventing anyone from reporting crimes that go undetected by the dolls, and there are those who do in fact report those crimes.
I would also like to point out that the dolls cannot be tampered with, charmed, or blinded by illusion like humans, and only act when there is more than sufficient evidence to link a person to the commission of a crime. They are impartial and only detain suspects until the normal law enforcement can take over. They were instrumental in driving the terrorist organization of Death's Hand out of the city, and removing them would be inviting them back.
If your concern over appearances are so strong that they put the safety and well-being of the people of the city lower on your priorities, then I do hope you are prepared for a fight. If you win and attempt to remove the dolls, you will have to go through me.
