The end is only a new beginning [Video/Action]
[A white-haired figure wearing a decidedly ancient homespun robe emerges from the cavern, looking bemusedly about and blinking in the mid-afternoon sun. Given that the last thing he remembers is aiding Mary in returning all the Gnosis to Lost Jerusalem, and both their physical forms dissipating in the process, he can perhaps be excused for being somewhat confused - especially since he knows, beyond the shadow of doubt, that this is not Lost Jerusalem. Nor is it Michtam, where last he stood in crystal caverns hewn by man beneath that planet's long-dead surface.]
[The hologram at the exit of the cavern seems quaint, even old-fashioned, to his eyes - after all, he's from an era when man walked among the stars. Compared to the inner workings of an ES or starship, just about anything is going to seem antiquated. Still, he listens patiently to the information being given by the young woman, nodding to himself as background noise in the collective subconscious confirms details of what she's telling him, and then examines the communications device he's been given. It's not so different from the UMN phones that have been in vogue for the past decade or so, back home. Doping out its workings takes him no time at all.]
Well. This certainly isn't where I expected to end up.
[Action]
[Feel free to run into the guy in the robe if you happen to see him wandering about.]

He didn't speak very loudly, instead seeming like he wasn't certain if he'd be listened to.]
Wh-Where did you expect to end up?
B-But, this is Genessia. It's nice, too.
[Why, he's been here a whole ten minutes and nothing's tried to kill him yet!]

I suppose the first thing I should try to find is work. Wonder if there's a machine shop anywhere around that needs an extra pair of hands...
I-I don't know much about... about machines. M-Maybe you should move to Nova City. I-It... It probably has more of th-that type of stuff.
I-If you need anything else... I'll... I'll try to help!

Pardon me, sir, but I can't help but notice what you had said. Where did you intend on ending up?
[ video ]
If all went according to plan, I should have either ended up on Earth or... nowhere. Either something went wrong, or someone found a way to pull me out of the maelstrom.
Hello, did you just arrived here? I guess landing in Genessia isn't what you planned.
[Much like Abel, chaos is much more than he seems at first glance.]
The universe is collapsing? Oh dear, that sound dreadful. Are we talking about outer space or a metaphysical dimension?
Are you an astronomer yourself? In my time, I helped colonized Mars...which is a disaster. Was into aerospace, physics, that sort of thing.
Well, welcome to Genessia. It's...another world or planet? I'm not sure myself since I arrived here half a year ago.
My name is Father Abel, please to meet you.
[There we go, introduction, and this priest has a biblical figure attached to his name.]
[chaos smiles and inclines his head to the device, somehow managing to keep the whole thing steady. Clearly, he's had practice with this level of technology.] My name is Yeshua, but most people simply call me chaos. I think I would prefer to continue that here - people seem to be more comfortable with it.
[At the mention of his name, Yeshua. Abel smiled back.]
Yeshua. One who delivers and rescues.
So your world has advanced technology too? I was an engineer on a ship too during my journey to Mars. I traveled and formed a colony on Mars with my eldest brother Cain, my best friend Lilith, and my youngest sister, Seth.
Sadly, my world is no longer advanced anymore. Much of the lost technology like computers, aeroplanes, and such were destroyed by the nuclear wars after I came back to Earth from Mars. After the wars, I become a priest to bring back peace.
Still, it's nice to meet you chaos.
The sarcasm, it is strong.]Humans have walked among the stars for four thousand years, where I came from. Earth is a distant, fond memory for us, though very few of us remember where it was.
[You mean us religious figures dealing with science and technology go bad and humanity kind messed up Earth yet again? Yeah, totally see a theme.]
What happened to Earth? Destroyed? Mine is almost destroyed...but was saved at the last minute. Then restart all over again. What is it with humankind to be so fascinated with the stars and look upward for the answers?
[Abel have to smile a bit.]
Still, to hear humans go to the stars and map the univere, that's something good happened to their evolution, I think.

My goodness. You sound like a very...um...a very old soul.
[Nods. At this point, with the way this conversation is going.]
May I ask? Are you human, Chaos? Or a personification of the entity?
[The priest is catching on and is quite perceptive.]

[And given what he's said about the universe nearly collapsing, either he's been sleeping on the job, or...]
I'm... to put it in layman's terms, you could call me a fail-safe. If the lower domain ever threatens the upper, my purpose is to wipe it clean and restore everything to the very beginning. I was without form or will of my own for a very long time, until I met a person who showed me that even one such as I could change things for the better. That was nearly six thousand years ago - with the aid of another of his disciples, I sealed my power in order to live among humans, as one of them, experiencing their world as they saw it. I have seen proof both of their infinite capacity for destruction as well as their infinite capacity for love and nurturing. The choice to end that... I could never willingly make that choice. Four times, I failed to realize there was another choice - four times, I allowed another to use my power to reset time, back to the day Earth was lost, and humans left their cradle.
[Yes. That's right. Not six thousand years - twenty-two thousand. And a whole lot more than that, before he became self-aware.]

[Abel listened intently, and just accepts it. He's a priest, humble and meek. Though he understands how much power of divine can be contained within a body.]
My, my, you sure do came a long way. I mean, your very name warrants yours divinity! If you ever meet one of my acquaintances, a man named Ted, your story will sure give him a run for his money!
[Still the kind priest smiled, with a sighed.]
Anyway, I hope your stay, however long it maybe will be a comfortable one. I mean, in the long stretch of things, nothing exciting happens in Genessia.
