[For Christmas this year, it seems that everyone's gift is a very irate little face yelling about what is no doubt a very familiar complaint.]

This is an outrage, an outrage I tell you! No one ever treats me with respect, not even the world itself! And now here I am in some weird place! Do you have any idea how long it took me to get out of that weird metal thing? People shouldn't just assume everyone is the same size! And...and..

[She covers her mouth as a little sneeze overtakes her.]

And its way too cold!

[The wind outside isn't too bad, but for some reason her hair was whipping around like she was in the middle of a blizzard.]

I'm gonna freeze to death out here!!

[To anyone who might be near the area where new arrivals wind up, you may stumble across a small bowl on the ground, upside down, that seems to be rattling. More odd is that if you listen closely you might hear the sound of tiny teeth chattering. That bowl's owner is currently using it as protection from the cold!]

If there was one thing that Koishi liked more than new minds it was familiar ones... and this was certainly a familiar mind! Moving quickly toward the bay, Koishi circled it once before locating the shivering, chattering bowl, reaching down and picking it up, and being just a bit too grabby with the inchling, holding her up at eye level.

"Hello there!" It was that youkai that had the annoying sneaky urban legend.

At least Koishi's hand was warm...

Small blessings for a small girl. While she didn't exactly like being handled like that, at least she wasn't at a risk of freezing to death anymore. She was, however, at the risk of being crushed to death. Death was death, after all, and she would prefer to avoid any form of it, thank you very much!

"Have you no sense of personal space? You have as little respect for inchlings as everyone else, don't you?" She'd shake her fist at the satori, but she's being held in a way that sort of prevents that.

Fortunately Koishi wasn't squeezing at all. But it's not like Shinmyoumaru would be able to move. She didn't seem to be in any real danger though as evidenced by the looped heart above Koishi's left shoulder twisting around one more time and further defining itself.

"I don't have any personal space!" Well, that answered that. "It's not about respect though. It's about finding you!" Koishi had the biggest smile on her face. "You are here and since I found you it means you wont freeze. Okay?"

She had a point... at least until Koishi picked up her hat, placed the inchling on her head, and put her hat back down. It was dark but, at the very least, she was protected from the cold and wind. Likewise Koishi did manage to remember to pick up Sukuna's device and all the other various things she got from the pod.

And then the kidnapping began properly.

She seemed to be a lot more memorable to Koishi then Koishi was to her. This was likely nothing rare to the girl. Still, the two did have one thing in common, both struggled to get themselves noticed. The reason for it was just quite different.

"Its still not right to just pick me up like that!" The only reason her tiny arms aren't waving in annoyance is from that grip. She doesn't seem overly scared of the satori, though. From what she can remember of her, she isn't some sort of murderous monster. Just impossible to understand.

"What are you..." And then, suddenly, shes stuck under Koishi's hat. The girl could likely feel little limbs flailing in a combination of outrage and annoyance. "This...this isn't right!" The movement stops after a few moments. "...B..but it IS warm, so...ummmm...thanks." Her voice sounds drained of anger. At least from what can be heard, its a bit muffled under there.

[Ted might've noticed her unusual surroundings suggesting a fun-sized person, were he not largely oblivious.]

"That does sound trying. Would you like me to help?"

[Despite being the one to complain, the girl is instantly on the defensive when someone actually responds to her. She's not actually used to being taken seriously enough to even get a response. A finger is shook at the screen, one much tinier then the close perspective of her camera would make it seem.]

D..do you really care? You're not just trying to make yourself seem nice, are you?

[He chuckled. It seemed odd to be worried about being genuine when she seemed to be in such dire straits. He's not one to brag, but...]

"Heh, well, a cat-woman and a fairy seem to think so. Not my favorite virtue, but it has its moments. I could provide a sweater, at least."

[Of course she would likely accept any help offered even if it wasn't genuine. There's worrying about someone's ethics, and there is not freezing to death. One of those was more important then the other.]

W...well, I suppose I don't care anyway. As long as its something like that.

[Good luck finding one in her size, though!]

"All right! I'll be on over."

[Jump to Conclusions: his favorite game! He ran off to the Bay, wondering why the water wasn't frozen. Did the Welcoming Center claim there was some sort of neurotransmitter in the water? Did that keep it liquid? He wandered around for a while, looking but not finding.]

"Er, are you still at the Bay? I could understand if being still and shivering didn't appeal much, but it does make finding you a harder affair."

[She may not be easy to find, but she has no problem finding her would-be rescuer. Hands to her mouth, she does her best to call out to him, but such a tiny voice is easily drowned out in the wind. Wildly flailing arms are even easier to miss. But tiny though she may be, she is still not powerless. He may not see her, but she can see him. She hops into the bowl she'd been using to shelter herself, and like a tiny little flying saucer, it lifts off from the ground. That is why Ted might find himself seeing something better fit for the dinner table flying slowly towards him. Whats odder is it seems to be talking.]

Over here! Hey!

"Goodness!" [Talking dinnerware! It's like being in a Disney movie. Lumierre and Cogsworth ought to be along any minute. Still, he can't quite object to stuff this weird. It's Genessia, after all.]

"Well, heh, ah, hello, Ms. Bowl. Welcome to Genessia. I'd introduce you properly, but I'm afraid I'm in the middle of welcoming another lost soul who wound up here. Would you have happened to see a purple-haired woman with a red kimono?"

[Bowls don't have emotions, but if they did this one would probably be staring in surprise right now. Does this fellow really think he's talking to a bowl? Of course it might be difficult to notice the pair of tiny eyes peeking out from underneath the bowl's lid, but it becomes a lot easier to figure out once she pokes her head out into the open.]

I'm not a bowl!

[There's a few moments of silence.]

..And I think you're looking for me.

[Hope that sweater is extra small!]

"Goodness!" [A talking woman in a bowl! It's like...well it's very unlike anything.]

"Haha, so I am! Apologies for the case of mistaken identity, Ms...er, I don't quite have your name. You produce that while I try and produce...something suitable." [He does have some sweaters in infant-size, but it wouldn't be small enough. Maybe just...fold it a bunch and stuff her inside? Had to be warmer than a bowl.]

[Infant size is still far too big for the likes of her. Even among her own kind she was rather small, so to a full sized person, she was particularly tiny!]

[Clearly a small body didn't mean a small name.]

You don't seem like you're used to seeing inchlings. Its fine. Most people don't even remember we exist.

[She's trying not to sound mad, its not like its Ted's fault. He's from an entirely different world, after all. But even where she is from, her kind tends to go unnoticed. Still, a tiny bit of resentment sneaks its way into her voice. Don't take it personally!]

"Oh. Well, what does that mean?" Oriental names fascinate him even though he can never figure them out. "Oh, like Tom Thumb! Well I've read about ones very like inchlings. I'm very pleased, at least, that I can hear you without strain and you can hear me without pain. The world has been very kind to make our decibels so agreeable." [He continued rummaging through his bag.]

"Alas, I think we'll need an ingenious tailor to make suitably agreeable clothing. All I can offer, I think, is a very large blanket. Will that do?"

[The very small girl wasn't exactly in any position to complain. A blanket, massive though it may be, still covered her up. Her tiny shoulders shrug at the question she's asked.]

I dunno. Its just the name I was given. I've never had a chance to learn if it meant anything.

[She'd grown used to hearing the voices of the tallfolk, so merely the sound wouldn't hurt her, but she probably would have been tough to hear if she wasn't floating right in front of her conversation partner!]

And..we..well, as long as I don't get squished in it. Most big people things are too big for me. U..umm, not that I'm ungrateful!

[Its actually pretty refreshing to be treated so well. Many people automatically treated her as expendable just because she was so small]

"You haven't?" [Not knowing one's own onomastics is one of the worst things ever! At least in Ted's mind. Did they not have working internet in wherever she came from? Well, they have it now!]

"Let's see about that. Oh! I know. I recently got this scarf." He took a long, blonde scarf, almost the color of his hair, and wrapped it around his neck. "Here, why not nestle yourself in its folds, for now?" [That way she'd be warm and near enough to be clearly heard.

After that, he's fiddling around with the search engine. By now there were so many asiatic names that he's got a good grasp on where to look. He'll mutter what results he finds.]

"So your surname...that's simple enough...'name or fame with a little volume.' Heh, that's appropriate. Oh, but it originally meant 'young' too. How old are you, anyway?" [Never ask a lady her age, Ted.]

"Your first name, being much larger, holds a larger mystery. The first result that comes up is...needle strange ball? But I don't see either of those things on your person....oh! Your person!" [He runs back into The Bay, making a hurried detour.]

"I almost forgot; you'll need your things! You know, that box with the money and such in it."[He'll scramble around and make some splashes trying to find it. Goodness knows how she'd manage without the universal phone everyone else had. Hopefully the necklace would be midget-sized too. He'll ask to carry them for her for a while, until other arrangements can be made.]

"Anyway, back to more important matters. 'Strange' I can't disagree with. But there's other meanings too...hmm, 'Myou' can also mean 'strange', or 'elegant', or...'vague'." [That last one sounds unpleasant. 'Vague'? He hopes not!]

"Then there's 'Shimyou', meaning 'mysterious' or 'serious'. Ha! Didn't expect them to rhyme! Well, both of those sound reasonable. And finally, 'mayu'...a suffix for boys? Well that can't be right. Putting it all together gets...'mysterious needle boy.'"

[Ted gave her a look as though she were deliberately bamboozling him. Then laughs.]

"Haha, oriental names are quite the puzzle, eh? Don't suppose you've got any needles on you?" [He might have to inform her about his no poking policy.]

[Yeah, a bowl with chattering teeth is really weird. Of course the fishman is going to pick it up.

And then drop it when he sees a tiny person inside.]

Whoa, shit!

[But he has fast reflexes, so he catches it again before it smashes to the ground, and scoops the little person out of the air before she gets splattered, too.]

Weren't 'spectin' a li'l fairy. Sorry 'bout that. Uh...

[He rubs his finger under the gills on his cheeks, looking self-conscious.]

Y' okay?

[It was already bad enough that she was as cold as she was, but now her only shelter was being disturbed. There's barely any time for her to even squeak in surprise before her tiny little self is tossed into the air, only to have snatched up before she could fall. After taking a moment to realize that, no, she did NOT die there, she stands up to her full one-inch height, points a finger accusingly at the fellow who had disturbed her, and prepares to give him whats for.]

I am NOT a....

[And that is when she realizes she's talking to something she'd never seen before. The surprised squeak she couldn't get out before escapes her now, and she wheels backwards, practically slipping off her 'rescuer's' hand before she composes herself.]

A..a..ahem, that is to say that I am fine, thank you very much.

[Good thing he's got webbing between his fingers! Because Lord of the Sea, even tiny sized Seafolk don't come this small! Namur squints, holding his hand up to his eyes in order to see.]

The hell y' doin' out in the snow, sweetheart? Ain'tcha freezin'?

[Well, she didn't seem to be in any immediate danger. Sure, Namur's looks took her by surprise, but he seemed to be treating her well enough so far. There was a good chance he wouldn't just shove her into his mouth or something!]

I don't know! I wasn't in the snow last I remembered, but I came out of some massive giant metal coffin thing. There were some books or something, but I couldn't read them, they were way too big!

[Nah, she's clearly not a fish.]

Ohhhh yer new. Shit, sweetheart, tough break. Them books has got good info in 'em, I'll help y' get one. Hang on.

[Namur brings her down from in front of his face and pulls out the top of his shirt. His pendant hangs just below the neckline, over his clavicle. She could probably stand on it and hang on to the hem, thus keeping herself warm, but still able to see where they're going.]

'Less y' got a better idea...

[It seemed like the tiny was fine with the plan. If she was going to be in any danger, there were plenty of chances to hurt her already. Now that she was over the initial fright, the fishy fellow doesn't really seem bad at all. Rough speech or not, he was still treating her more nicely then many people in the past had. He seems to have earned enough trust to at least get the inchling to accept the offer, and she instantly feels better having something besides that tiny kimono between her and the wind.]

There might have been something like that back there, but it was so big I didn't even recognize it as a book. Back in the castle, everything was sized for us, but outside things are way too big! O..oh, but if it can help me then I guess I'll find a way to read it.

Sheheh! First things first, li'l sweetheart. We'll grab y' one a them shitty pamphlets t' read cuz they 'splain what's goin' on best I ever saw, an' then we'll getcha somewhere y' ain't gonna turn int' a tinyass girlsicle, yeah? Y' like human food? Sake?

Are you in need of a place to keep warm?

[The girl does her best to respond in a dignified manner, but its tough considering how much she's shivering.]

I...I don't know where to find one, I just came out of that metal thing a few minutes ago!

What's with all the complaining? At least you're alive.

[Despite the cold, the girl can't help but feel a little annoyed. She shakes a finger at the camera, a scowl on her face.]

I'd like to stay that way, too!

You won't die just from this. You can share my fire, anyway, if you're that desperate.

[Oh look, an inchling.]

It's not that cold. [...says the immortal woman who is currently indoors.]

There is a shelter available.

[Little arms wave in annoyance. Its easy to say its not cold when you're a massive giant!]

Maybe to YOU, but I'm freezing! I don't know where to find any shelter, I just got here!

Yeah, information for tall folk, it didn't do me any good. I mean, the talking shiny lady helped a little, but I couldn't read anything.

[She holds her hands up in front of her.]

It wasn't really designed with me in mind. If the mallet had any power it'd be different but...

[She stops herself. No reason to talk to this woman about that sort of thing.]

A..ahem, that is they really should have taken size into consideration!

If you had trouble, you simply could've asked someone to help you with it.

[Kaguya isn't unaware of that incident. The religion war was far more interesting, though.]

Could you imagine the costs involved in printing brochures for every shape and size?

[ Yuyuko could have heard those teeth chattering from a mile away! With a concerned look on her face, she lifts the cup up into her palms and smiles from one ear to the next Sukuna's way. ]

You must not be used to these frigid temperatures. Poor thing...

[If she knew what she was getting into when she got out of the Bay she might have been more prepared, but the way it was she wasn't exactly prepared for cold weather. A tiny kimono and bare feet was not exactly the warmest outfit in the world.]

W..well, I wasn't supposed to even be here! I don't even know where here is! Last I remembered I was at the shrine and then...here. Who would even kidnap me? I don't get it.
