[ action | closed ] It ain't my fault.
Who: Ukoku Sanzo and Tannusen
Where: Genessia City - Velvet Lust - Desire's Lounge
What: Flirting between monsters, round 2. Ding!
Warnings: Extreme suggestiveness guaranteed.
no I, can't be responsible
if I, get you in trouble now
see you're, too irresistible
yeah that's for sure
Usually when Velvet Lust was open, Tannusen was either in the kitchen or behind the bar.
Once in a while, he ended up upstairs instead, like tonight, situated in one of the dimly-lit booths along the walls. He half-lounged sideways on the seat, his back and shoulders against the wall. The lights from the dance-floor caught and gleamed off his glasses in pulses. One elbow was on the table, fingers tapping along to whatever beat caught his fancy on the side of his head.
One round of Heather Balm had healed all of the bruising from the thrashing he'd taken the night before out in Everglade. Which was a pity, but the cost of doing business. He couldn't go around in his own club tattooed like that, so the first drop of Glamour to hit his system had gone directly into that spell.
The eyes behind his spectacles were decidedly cold. Enough that no one among the regulars dared to approach that particular booth. Good thing there was at least one irregular among them, tonight.

The tiger wasn't so happy lately, that he'd noticed too. That was worth checking out, if only to watch him stew in his own misery. It was the small things in life.
Maybe he teleported, maybe he just walked very quietly, but suddenly Ni was there by the booth, the chill in his black eyes rivaling that of Tannusen's. Yet he was smiling and relaxed as he slid into the booth beside the fae, a beer in one hand. He looked just as shabby as always with bunny doll in tow.
"Evenin'."

Tannusen made room by shifting his leg out of the way, but then he just draped it over Ukoku's lap. His other boot was still on the floor in front of the seat he was lounging in. Probably right against Ukoku's leg, now, with the angle.
His gaze didn't gain any warmth, but it did sharpen. And he gave Ukoku a lazy, leisurely smile.
"I didn't realize I ordered delivery," he purred.
no subject
"It's such a long walk to the kitchen and who knows if you'll want a snack?" By all means, feel free to take a bite.
no subject
"I didn't catch your name, last time," the fae didn't start pulling on the captured tie... yet. It was clear by the way he toyed with it that he might at any moment.
no subject
None of the cold malice had left his eyes but his smile was a little wider.
"I'm not near so popular as you Tannusen, no one knows my name!" He sighed dramatically.
no subject
"Not making enough people scream it, are you?"
Even lounging around like he was with his legs open, Tannusen was still confident enough in the game to make such a suggestion. If Ukoku got him to scream anything, he'd be impressed. Even with his latest self-destructive mood, he was unlikely to put himself under this human's boot.
Hadn't he threatened last time to make a toy of this mortal? A slave, even.

That wasn't quite his kind of monster, too much person left, too much caring. Close enough. Ni wasn't going to find someone he deemed his equal here.

Case in point, the tiger chuckled at Ni's response, winding the end of his garish orange tie around his fist. A much better grip, that way. "Depends on one's mood, I suppose," he purred, "is that what you'd do to me, if you had the chance? Stuff my mouth?"
no subject
"Oh of course, but much more than that." There was no purr to his voice like Tannu's but a light amusement that never seemed to leave it. Everything was a joke in that tone, no matter what he said.
no subject
Not that Tannu could blame him there, boredom was the worst. It was very likely his own motivation, whether he realized it or not. Banality was every Fae's undoing if nothing else got them first.
"What a shame."
no subject
"Someone else caught your eye?"
no subject
The things that doll had had to say about its owner -- in between sobs -- had made that apparent. Ni's reaction to the sound of those sobs had sealed it. The guy was the kind of monster Tannu rarely found, and always enjoyed when he did.
"I've a better use for you than that," Tannusen's silky purr was as present as ever, "it's a rare treat when I meet someone I can really play with." That pesky heart of his wasn't going to get in the way, here. No ethics need apply, for this guy. Fuck this guy.
No, really. Fuck this guy.
A lot.

Ni leaned over, tugging just lightly on the tie with his movements, and rested the side of his head against his arm on the table. Now he looked up at Tannusen, his smile almost playful. There was no fully banishing the malice in it.
"Is that so? Well don't bore me and maybe we can play."
no subject
"You didn't seem that bored last time," Tannusen pointed out, amused. "In fact, I think you're just bitter that I left you hanging."
Because if Ni did teleport away out of spite, he'd just be coming in second place on that trick. Tannu had already done it to him at their first meeting!
He dropped the end of the tie, and went for a fist-full of Ni's ridiculous hair instead, sitting up a bit to reach. The leg slightly trapped in Ni's lap didn't even shift; Tannusen's abs were on point.
And there was the Enchantment, a drop of Fae magic spreading out across the room as the tiger dropped the Wyrd on the whole club. It had altered reality at that inane little party at that diner, but Velvet Lust had so much more Glamour invested into it. Everything looked different, felt different, even smelled different.
Their little booth was darker... and colder. The Dreaming reacted to everything; Ni was a walking black hole, and the overlapping world knew it. Tannusen certainly knew it, if not the reason the imagery was so strong.
Unlike an Enchantment cast on an individual, dropping the Wyrd revealed the Dreaming to the entire area. It said something for how little Tannusen cared about hiding what he was that the regulars barely even reacted before going back to their partying, perhaps a little more enthusiastically now that they could taste colors.

He leaned his head towards Tannusen's hand. The tiger really wanted to play today.
"Aha, I would have to care more about you to be bitter," he replied with laughter in his voice. He really, really didn't care, it was such a minor slight. He wanted things about of Tannusen but an apology was not one of them.
no subject
Not the place or time for such musings. In fact, there was no place or time for it!
So he adjusted his grip in Ni's hair, and pulled. How flexible was the human? Let's find out. Either he'd twist around Tannusen's leg, climb over it, or lose a chunk of his scalp. With the grip the tiger had, it wouldn't just be a bit of hair to come loose.
no subject
Turns out that Ni was plenty flexible and quite strong for his build, there was just enough resistance to make pulling him along difficult without ripping out his hair. He could've easily broken the leg in his lap, that would make it easier to get around but too messy! He pulled his own leg up instead so he was sitting on one knee, it gave him more room to twist his back.
He stared at Tannusen, smiling, daring him, silently, to do more.
no subject
He laughed at the token resistance Ni was putting up. What a shit. His hand didn't relax its grip, however, as he lounged back against the wall again, dragging the human closer with his weight. Tannusen didn't particularly care if Ni ended up straddling his thigh or between his legs, either was fine by him.
The tiger decided more leverage was in order, and reached down with his free hand to grab Ni by the belt through his sloppy, un-tucked shirt. This, too, he'd use to haul him in, until he could sit up again and this time, sink his teeth right into the human's shoulder.
As he'd said, the kitchen was ever so far away.

He made no noise when it hit, though his mouth opened as if he was about to gasp. His mind went wonderfully blank for a moment while his mind tried to wrap itself around the damage done with such a non-lethal wound.
Blood, too much of it for the wound in question, seeped down to soak the white fabric of his lab coat. Ha.
"Wow."
no subject
He even drank some of the blood that shot into his mouth, because what was a little blood when you ate people whole?
The tiger chuckled into the bite and then pulled away from it, letting the blood really start to flow without his upper and lower canines blocking the way. Tannusen licked his lips, and smiled a very pretty little smile that really didn't belong on someone's face who'd just aerated a person.
"Red looks better on you anyway."
no subject
He swayed slightly, the sharpness in his eyes dulling for a moment before he pulled himself back. No, he wasn't going to be knocked down that easily. His smile was, ever so slightly, less calculated than usual. Blood soaked through his coat into his shirt both clung to his skin from the damp.
"Better than white," he agreed, the amusement still there in his voice. It was more airy and distant this time.
no subject
He raised the leg Ni was straddling, so that his thigh ended up pushed right up between the human's legs.
"Don't go passing out yet," Tannusen purred, "I prefer my toys conscious when I play with them."
And there was a clink as Ni's belt was undone.
no subject
The bite hurt worse, if that were possible, as the surprise wore off. Ni couldn't say that didn't add to the appeal. If he wasn't sure it'd literally kill him, he'd bait Tannusen into biting him again. Matching scars for the right side.
Ni leaned in close, like one might do if they intended to kiss the guy that was undoing their pants. Being himself, Ni tilted his head to the side even as he drew close and studied Tannusen's face with those icy black eyes. Passable. There was a meanness in his smile that suggested what he was thinking.
