A Box of Assorted Sonico
A: Video: *Sonico appears on the screen with a big smile and bright eyes, and she even gives the camera a shy wave* Good morning, everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone here for how good and kind you have been. The fundraiser was a huge success, and I want to thank everyone for their kind words about my performance. I would also like to thank everyone for your thoughtful Christmas gifts. I was so shocked and suprised! I am so grateful to have met such generous friends. She takes a moment here to bow her head for a second or two to prove her gratitude. Suddenly, there's a small growl and a bundle of fluff appears, bouncing in front of the camera. Sonico looks up and laugh, and scoops the creature into a hug* And this is Meiji, my new kitten. Thank you, Koishi for being so thoughtful. *Yeah, Sonico looks at the cat like she's in love. There does seem to be something curious about her new kitten, though....
B: Action - Bar: This, unfortunately, appears to be a bit of a tradition for Sonico now. Another friend has disappeared. One who looked after her, and cared for her when she was house bound with broken ribs. One who tried to understand her, and consider her emotions. It hurts that he's gone now, so Sonico has found herself in a small bar, nursing a beer and staring at the table in front of her.
C: Action - Nova Mall: As soon as Sonico found out about Grell's Foundation for orphaned and disadvantaged children, Sonico was desperately keen to be involved. An orphan herself, she knows how difficult life can be. Not everyone has an awesome grandmother to take care of them. In order to raise awareness, and hopefully raise some money for the charity, Sonico sits up a little concert in Nova mall. Anyone nearby or casually shopping can pop in and enjoy the show! Sonico is on stage with a band, complete with her own electric guitar this time - thank you, Arro! - and is performing something very different from last time. This is for kids, so the show is in full on pop rock mode. The songs are punchy and fun, upbeat and catchy. To match, Sonico has gone cute with her costume too. Fun for all the family. Enjoy! Donate! Feel your heart go out to the orphans every time Sonico appeals between songs!

Hell, even Tannusen was shy in the right circumstances! It just wasn't part of what he presented to the world at large.

If Sonico didn't think it was holding her back, then that was that. Or such was the tiger's opinion.

Sonico seemed like a smart enough gal, at least, that the warning was more of a paranoid formality. Because yes, 'handsy human' was something that'd happened to him before. A handsy, stupid human.

Only at the last instant had he realized what was going on and retracted his claws. Madison could have lost her face with that single swipe, otherwise.
And no, he didn't understand it. His other form was fuzzy, sure, but... kind of terrifying? There was an instinctual part of humanity that knew this was what they'd been in an arms-race against for much of their early history. And he was a record-breaker in size...
"I honestly don't know what was wrong with her. Even Isaac wasn't that bold about it."

It was one thing to be afraid of him when he was in that state, but sitting opposite her here she felt a little more embarrassed to say so.
"Are these..people from your home? Your friends?"
no subject
And it still hadn't quite sunk into Madison's thick skull what she'd done wrong. Ugh. The worst thing about the truly dumb is that they didn't learn. Ever.
"That human wasn't a friend, but Isaac was." But Tannusen wouldn't allow himself to sink into melancholy, he was here to distract Sonico from hers, after all.

Sonico was perhaps about to ask about his friend, but she noticed the use of the past tense and wondered if maybe wasn't the best idea. So instead she just smiles politely and nods.
"Well, I'm sure it must be quite an interesting thing, to be able to change forms like that."
no subject
"You think so?" Tannusen didn't sound accusatory, however, just curious. "It's been a natural part of life for over half my life, so I don't really remember what it was like to only have one skin, anymore. Less aggravating, I'm sure."

A lot of Fae hit their chrysalises far earlier, but Tannusen's early human life hadn't exactly been ideal for fostering such things.

So coming to himself at sixteen instead of, say, twelve... he'd lost a lot of time, for a Faerie.
Talk of family lines has him going quiet for a moment, his gaze shifting off to one side and his hands stilling on the tea. Tannusen shakes it off quickly, however. "It's more... irregular. Faerie parentage does seem to make it more likely to have a Fae child, and some breed for that, but it's not a guarantee by any means. Fae are born to regular, mortal humans all the time. I come from a satyr and a sidhe."
no subject
She noticed his quiet and realised that she had indeed gone too far, "A satyr and a sidhe. There are so many incredible...people here in this world." She did her best to smile, trying to keep the conversation lighter.

Now, to be fair, the pooka was most definitely mad. But it was a much different kind of madness he was talking about, here.
no subject
"Forgive me. Perhaps it's not fair for me to talk about that. I have no idea, of course. I'm just...human."

"I'm usually just napping somewhere if I'm there. I run a bar and club at night, after all."
