[This is bad. The last thing Fred remembers was undergoing the ceremony of purification, and now he was in some strange cave filled with grisly pods. He already started to make sense of his situation, but it still left him with too many unanswered questions by the time he finished listening to this hologram.

What is Genessia? How did he get here? Is the malevolence present? Was the purification successful? Are his friends here too?

He supposes the first thing he can do is take the hologram's advice and ask the network using this phone-thing. There was only in one slight problem...

Fred is mute.

Oh well. It's not the first time he surprised a whole group of people.]

[After fiddling with the controls, Fred managed something. He thinks. He quietly peers into the camera and examines every edge of it. He won't know if it's working until he tries. Fred gave his best to look like he has something to say, then, a disembodied voice that doesn't fit Fred's youthful appearance comes through.]

"These are his words...
To anyone who can hear this, my name is Fred. A Rivell of the Grinsil Brigade. I need some help."

[Elesis seemed a little surprised but regardless answered his voiced plee.]

What do you need help with?

[Fred looked quite relieved when someone answered. He smiled gently and nodded in greeting, thinking about his reply.

Once more, the disembodied voice comes through.]

Can you confirm that everything said by this girl named Weiss is true?"

So far from what I've seen, yes.

[Confirmed, two for two. He's expecting the same answers for his other questions, so he'll ask something different.]

"These are his words...
How are you making due here? Is it as easy to live a normal life as they make it out to be?"

It is if you like it boring. I am...er was the Captain of the Red Knights were I came from. But from what I've been reviewing, if you like excitement it's there too.

[Another message incoming!]

"Hmm, how do you speak without moving your mouth? How curious! But yes, perhaps I can help. Hello Fred. What do you need help with?"

[With how quickly he went from one thing to another, he wonders if he really wants an answer. Oh well. He'll give it. This is common knowledge. Or so he thinks.

The disembodied voice comes through.]

"These are his words...
It is because of my High Beast, Epsilon. He conveys my words for me. I asked this already, but can you confirm what this Weiss girl said is true?"

[More than one confirmation would be undoubted truth.]

"Yes, everything she said is true. I had been a resident here in Genessia for 6 months. I take it you're a new arrival here from the Bay?"

[The Colonel answer is helpful, and he is used to teaching others. Being an school teacher in this place.]

[Yep, this is bad.]

"These are his words...
That's right. I have other questions. Has any other people appeared here, going by the names Kline, Alia or Paola?"

"You may ask as many you like!" He said, being chipper and patient. "No, I have not seen or heard these people. Most likely you arrived in this world alone, and they were left back in your world."

[This is worse. Without Paola at the very least, he might not survive for long if he wasn't successfully cleansed of the malevolence from the ceremony of purification.

This leaves him with two questions remaining.]

"These are his words...
Are you familiar with Dark Matter, otherwise called Malevolence?"

"No, and much of your magic that exist in your homeworld do not exist here, but this world has the energy of spirits, and thereby your magic is workable and functional here should you need it for combat purpose."

[That's a relief. He has nothing to worry about in that regard. Luckily though, magic is not Fred's strong point. He is capable of it, he's just not as strong as Alia or Paola.

With a slight smile, he drew his short sword, just one of two he carries in battle to assure the man.]

"These are his words...
That will be no problem. I'm stronger with swords than magic anyway."

"Ah, a swordsman yourself? I'm a mage and a spearman. I heard there's a swordsman going by the name of Kratos in Fayren City. He could be of help. In the meanwhile, your box contains a pendant, which you need to cross the gates called archways to the other 4 cities. Stay away from Everglade as that is full of the undead. Fayren is your choice. The currency in this world is redbills, and the key is for the apartment called Genessia Commonspace. Rent is for free for a month, so it's best to find a job quick to find other suitable places to live...but inns are in abundance in Fayren city."

[Fred was wondering what this necklace was about. He supposes he can't sell it now, knowing how important it is. But the biggest concern was how he was given a key to an apartment by the unknown. Whatever Genessia is really intends to keep them there for a long time?]
