Well heeeeello there everyone! We interrupt your day for a very special report! It's your favorite host with news about the recent outbreak of strange behavior in Nova City! Find out how the water you drink could be killing you- after this commercial!
[ The Show Host spins out of the camera, then it cuts to a frog puppet. The frog puppet's eyebrows waggle like he's trying to flirt, at which point it shows a princess puppet who's like ooooh and leans in for a kiss.. except she leans right past the frog to grab a box of ring-shaped candy.
"This is the only ring I'm taking on the first date."
The frog looks dejected and falls over backward and the princess winks and eats a piece of the candy. Prings!!

We're back! And have I got a story for you! I hope you've held onto those glasses, especially if you've visited or live in Nova City. Former Aster Technologies scientist Doctor Milton Seek dumped a chemical formula into the water system that is causing the physical separation of residents' light and dark halves into two separate people.
Seek was an unstable employee who acted after Aster Technologies denied funding for his project, their representative Andrea Fine stating that "To test that on human, cyborg, or any level of life would be an ethical disaster. Aster Technologies could not stand by such a formula and immediately let Seek go and reported his actions to the ethical board" after learning this wasn't the first incident of unreported, morally questionable research. Seek has since been stripped of his doctorate and is now the subject of a massive bounty after experts suggested that this formula may have compromised the City Guardian's office, which would explain the sudden rash of changes within the office's staffing. Guardian Schnee was unable to be reached for comment at this time.
The bounty for Seek is set at the maximum level of four. Bounty hunters are reminded that they do need to be licensed to receive payment for bounties in Nova City through the City Guardian's office, though Nova City Councilbeing Plus Del'k'kn has stated that due to the severe emergency state this is putting the city in, he will make arrangements with the Guardian's office for anyone who brings the bounty in to temporarily waive the license provided that all Nova City laws are followed during the course of capture.
"Seek must be brought in urgently and he must be brought in alive if we are to create a formula that can reverse the effects of this," Fine said in agreement with Del'k'kn, "We also would like to stress that these are not clones or doppelgangers and causing mortal fatalities has resulted in unverified reports of both halves dying when only one is harmed. "
So you heard it here first folks!! Bottled water only until you the water is clean again or you might be taking a walk on the dark side and the light in opposite directions! And this time, neither side has cookies. Until next time!
