I have an...odd question, at least some people might find it odd, but what kind of games do people enjoy?

I'm planning on creating a game for people to play and would like to have a basic idea of what most people would be interested in, instead of assuming and getting it wrong.

I should add video games in this case don't really count, so...I would not be able to make something like that.

I'm a card game guy myself...The one we call sabaac. I kinda wish I could get a deck around here somewhere.

Card game? Will you tell me what Sabaac is? It's not something I've heard before, but it sounds interesting.

It's got 76 cards and four suits...everyone makes bets. The cards are electronic...you can switch them without having to draw more. The stakes can get really high in some games.

Yeah, it's a gambling game...I'm not familiar with those two, though. They might be something to look up while i'm stuck here, though.

They are gambling games that involve cards as well... While it is a game it's not something I payed much attention to, so asking around or finding a book might help.

I haven't played it for a long time before I got here, but it's a cool card game where you get to play heroes in the card.

It sounds interesting, but maybe it can be found here. You never know.

Though I knew I had to bring in a card game I knew of from back home here.

As for me I play a card game called Duel Monsters.

Battle Chess

There was a war game I played back in the old days called "Battle Chess". It was like war in that you used a deck of playing cards to counter other numbers, thing was you also used a chess board. Instead of capturing, you would duel. Pawns used 1 card, Low back row like rooks, knights, and bishops used two, Queen and King used 3.

It passed the time on long nights and it was simple to pick up and play.

That actually sounds like a pretty cool game. Not one I've heard about either... Wonder if it could be played here.

If you have a piece of paper, and some sort of coins, that could work instead of a chessboard, but the full monty can just be set out with an chess set, and a two decks playing of cards, for anyone to pick up and play.

That would be easy enough to do, but I do have a chess board. So i guess I would have everything that was needed.

Just make sure to take out all the face cards first, unless your playing vetran rules (J 11 Q 12 K 13 A takes King but less than 2 value wise) its easier to just sift out all the confusing concepts and just leave ace As 1.

Heck, I can see you making up your own rules considering your line of work!

I... mostly sell games for the most part. But yeah making up games is something I would like to do in the future.

But take out the face cards, got it. Shouldn't be too hard at least. Shouldn't take me too long either. But where should we play? Do you have somewhere or do you want me to decide?

Mukuro was caught off guard at the question, shrugging with a chuckle. "Any place with good seating and a sturdy table that isn't flipped easily." She replied simply. "I have a lot more time to kill than I need, so you can decide the time and place." She explained, flipping out her bayonet and juggling it around idly.

"You mean on bolted to the floor or something?" Because he knew those types of tables wouldn't really get flipped easily, not without getting something to undo the bolts in the first place.

"Because if so, we don't have those types of tables, but I'm sure you can find it somewhere."

"That was a joke ! I know some hardcore gamer folk who took the game to seriously." She laughed giddily. "For now just stick with any good flat surface to put the chessboard and cards on, then work and alter it to your liking from there!"
