I suppose you can put an answer in anonymously, but it doesn't really matter.

I'm just wondering how many people in town use and rely consistently on technology? I don't mean lights or your phone or anything technically vital.

Computers, consoles, televisions...

Books on the side.

It's just an idea.

Where I come form we have computers with A.I.s too, technology is technology. But where you speaking about the way technology keeps you entertained?

Why would anyone want to do without technology if they have access to it?

Aside from the technology necessary to keep someone alive and comfortable, many people like to...

'get away from it all'.

This is why camping was invented.

I get camping, but why would you want to live like that all the time? There's no point to camping even if there's no ice and snow involved.

I think you may have a different setting in mind from what most people would consider camping.
