[Video] | Here for all your egg related needs
[Colette smiles and waves to the camera, an egg on her lap.]
Hello! It looks like everyone got these eggs yesterday, but so many of you don't know how to properly care for them! You can't kick your egg, you can't put it in a fridge, and you definitely cannot drop it out a window. You have to treat it with love! These poor things have been separated from their mommies, so it's up to us to keep them safe and warm. Wrap them in a blanket, keep them on your lap, or sit on them like a chicken does. It also might help to talk to it and give it little kisses so it knows that it's still loved, right, Little Egg?
[She pecks the top of her egg and rubs her cheek against it, giggling lightly.]
Now I know that some of you are really busy with work, and you're worried that you won't be able to care for your egg properly. So if you need it, I'm willing to come check on your eggs while you're away to make sure that they're getting all the love and attention that they need to stay healthy.
If you have any questions about caring for your egg at all, please let me know! These babies are counting on us to keep them safe, and we can't let them down!

Why would you want to make scrambled eggs out of them?? They're not meant for cooking!

Hmmm... well they're pretty big so maybe a cockatrice? We have lots of them back home.
[Wait, who is she talking to?]
Oh! I don't think we've met. My name's Colette!
video
A cock-a-what?
And yeah. I'm Dave. 'Sup, Colette.
Video
A cockatrice is a giant bird, like the size of people. They have a long beak and a big bushy tail. They're a type of monster but I'm sure if we raise them they'll be friendly!

[Though he was balancing on it for fun earlier. They're surprisingly robust.]
You seem pretty confident that these things aren't gonna hatch into something terrible. ... you deal with this kinda thing before?
[Or is this girl just really too pure to exist?]
video
Nope! I just know that if we treat them well and raise them right with a loving heart that they won't be bad!
video
I get that it's all in how they're raised, but... all creatures are gonna have a primal instinct.
We could raise tigers with all the love in the world, but that doesn't guarantee we won't get mauled, y'know?

[She gets she means these ones though, they could make a huge omelette or something, but she didn't want to do that anyway. She made hers cute. You can;t do that to something that's cute.]
I have mine wrapped up in a blanket though, but can't eggs get too hot?
video
[She frowns. She hadn't considered that.]
Maybe? Chickens always sit on their eggs though... I think as long as you don't let it get too hot it should be okay, so don't keep it on a heater or in an oven.
[Of course, Colette's far from an expert on the subject, but she really hopes she's not wrong.]
video
[She couldn't be so sure about that one though.]
But I'm sure a blanket is enough...Also a name. But I don't have one yet.
