Bond 005 [Video]

So, I should probably guess that this is part of Genessia's phenomena...

[He then shows a large white egg he got this morning, which he transferred it by a sofa pillow as it wrapped around a warm towel.]

I doubt that this is a Pokemon egg, but I had to warm it, just in case.

Still, I'm wondering what or where this egg came from... Any ideas?

No idea, but I was thinking of keeping mine in the pool. It's a heated pool, so it's about body temperature and it won't cook it.

[ That way it's not taking up space and it's staying warm. She's not even going to bother trying to eat it. Anyone who wants to eat something that mysteriously showed up is a moron. ]

I'm glad to hear that. But I'm curious, are you sure you and the other guardians aren't responsible for these egg distributions?

Believe me, I have nothing to do with this. I have better things to do than find and distribute oversized eggs.

So it's safe to say that the city [or this world...] distribute these eggs.

[That's his only theory so far. Besides, he is starting to believe that Genessia can do the impossible.]

Do you have any plans if the egg should hatch?

I believe everyone did, so the answer is obvious. However if it turns out it's something that can hurt people, then I would be happy to keep mind.

Regardless, just make sure you'll try to be cautious when taking care of the egg for now. We still have no knowledge what kind of creature will hatch out.

[To be honest she hadn't really been here for long, so she hadn't been sure about odd things going on.]

From what I heard during my stay here, there seemed to be phenomena involving many wild Pokemon appearing at a certain time a few years ago.

Then I heard a news about a mad scientist who released a serum through a water supply, which it can split the affected into two halves...

So far, that's all I know.

Thankfully, I wasn't affected when the recent phenomenon happened and the victims returned to normal when someone caught the culprit.

If you keep it warm long enough then it should hatch and tell us eventually. I assume that is what you were thinking, right?

[Even if no one actually knows, it's quite unnerving in that area.]

That's always the possibility, but if you honestly think it is, then maybe prepare for the just in case.

I'll try to keep my guard up. I have my Pokemon with me in case there is a dangerous creature hatching out of that egg.

I can guess you're new to this world as well.

They are strong creatures that can use any abilities and powers. They usually lived back in my world, but right now, you can only find some Pokemon that are owned by several residents in here.

My theories are being thrown off by the egg's apparent indestructibility. Are there any creatures native to one of the cities capable of producing eggs en masse that I'm unaware of? This seems more like your department.

Not exactly. I'm mostly on Mega Evolution and this one seems to be Professor Elm's department.

[Too bad he's the only Pokemon Professor in Genessia right now.]

But like I said, it's not a Pokemon egg, so it could be something else.

Are you not also studying the native fauna here to compare and contrast them to your Pokemon species and find out if your Mega Evolution could be applied to any of them? You shouldn't limit yourself.

I can try. Besides, I'm surprised at the creatures that didn't exist back in my world. In fact, I didn't hear about these "animals" until I settled in here.

No clue. Sure hope it's not anything dangerous, though. I prefer things that don't give me hell, you know?

[Not that her desire to not deal with things that could give her hell stops her from occasionally trying to stir up trouble with the type of people who could dish out some hell-giving if they really wanted to, but Sycamore doesn't know about that and Tori has no intention of telling him.]

I hope so. It would be a mess if an unidentified creature hatches from the egg.

[Her mind can't help but go to places like a dinosaur invasion. Granted, that wouldn't be the worst thing to ever happen to her! But it would still be a mess.]
