Bond 005 [Video]

So, I should probably guess that this is part of Genessia's phenomena...

[He then shows a large white egg he got this morning, which he transferred it by a sofa pillow as it wrapped around a warm towel.]

I doubt that this is a Pokemon egg, but I had to warm it, just in case.

Still, I'm wondering what or where this egg came from... Any ideas?

[She's thinking something on a larger scale. She can't help it -- she's used to things on a larger scale, due to what she'd gone through back in her own world before being taken to Exsilium and then here. Then again, Exsilium itself was no walk in the park either.]

I could say the same. To be honest, Pokemon battles are another way to defend ourselves from danger, whether against humans who wants to use them for their evil purposes or against aggressive wild Pokemon.

Can't say I'm surprised to hear that there are people who'd use Pokemon for their own selfish needs. [Her tone has darkened considerably.] No world is free from people like that, either.

[She snaps out of it quickly enough.]

[He is a little surprised at Tori's change of tone when she talks about the people using Pokemon for their selfish needs. And even if she returned to her usual tone, he is still worried about what she said, yet he doesn't want to show his worries to her very quickly.]

Also, I should probably go now. I have to check on my egg one more time before I can go to work with it.

[He knew that even it's an egg from an unknown origin doesn't mean he wants to leave it alone in his apartment all day.]

[Even if he tells her to not worry about it, she feels like she crossed a line. It's not something she'll mention, though -- internalizing is something she does more often than not.

Instead, she smiles brightly.]
