Hmm...strange for these eggs to suddenly appear. And yet...they seem to rekindle my...dragonly paternal instincts. It feels so familiar...like reliving the past, when the plague first struck...

[What a time that was, raising the clan from a single egg, the hatchling who would be named Coco. Coco had come a long way since then, being one of the first to survive the Passage.]

Still...I highly doubt that these are dragon eggs...unless they were Fae dragons. However...I really don't think Liora would have anyone to mate with here...and even if she did, she couldn't have had this many eggs.

[He glances down at the egg again, pondering. If these do turn out to be dragon eggs, this could present an interesting opportunity]

[Kobato looks positively baffled of all things. Though to be honest she had never seen a dragon before, let alone one that could talk. She wasn't sure what exactly to think, even though she had spoken to one before.]

...How can I tell what? That they're not dragon eggs? Well, as I said, dragon eggs would typically be larger than this. And normally, the eggs would have a different shape, depending on which deity was infusing the nest with their magic. However, since those deities have no influence in this world, I suppose the eggs would have a more neutral shape.

On the other hand, I could be mistaken. The dragons native to Fayren are different from the dragonkind of my world.

How big are normal dragons eggs if these aren't as such?

Are you sure they aren't dragons eggs? There's a great number of different dragons all over the galaxy... though I'm fervently hoping you are right.

Dragon eggs are usually larger than this, but it would also depend on the breed. It is true that there are different kinds of dragons, so I could be mistaken.

Even so, I cannot imagine dragons freely giving their eggs away...

That makes sense. Most species are protective of their young.

Do you have an idea what might be inside? My first thought was a bomb, but everybody seems convinced something is hatching inside.

I haven't the slightest, unfortunately. Perhaps some sort of animal or beast. We'll just have to see...
