So I've noticed the lot of ye carryin' on about an egg.

We've got two of 'em about here, turns out they migrate, don't bother tossin' it in the fridge. Little bastard sneaks right back into the laundry each time, it does.

[Meanwhile, in the back, there is the occasional glimpse... of Tannusen, popping in and out of the frame. It's clear both of them are in the rectory, and Cassian isn't paying any mind to the fae obviously moving about behind him ]

Don't break like it should either, and the shells too thick for the candle trick. I wouldn't try boilin' it either. That's what I've gotten as far as this useless piece of crap goes, I'll update if they start doin' anythin' stupid.

[And right as he goes to finish up and turn off the communicator... Tannusen swoops in from the side and lays a tender kiss on the smaller mans cheek. He goes bright pink, and the transmission is terminated with a flustered shout of TANNUSEN]

[Phew, no blow-ups. He relaxed a bit, smiling.]

I-I hope all of you are really happy.

H-How did you all start dating?

He broke into me shop and tried to lay all over me so I bit his face.

T-Tannusen did...?

[He quirked an eyebrow. That was a bit weird. Or seemed like, to him. Maybe that was all the rage for how to get a boyfriend now.]

Wh-What about Trahearne?

... What about Trahearne? He's in the guest room, got access now to all the expired ravioli he could ever want.

[He laughed a little.]

N-not that. How... How did you start dating?

Datin' Trahearne? God above it's a miracle I'm datin' Tannusen, I ain't got enough room in me cold dead black little heart for someone else.

Huh...?

[He stopped to think. Something was off here.]

J-Just Tannusen is dating him?

No, Tannusen's datin' me, the tree is here because they're friends.

I mean they might be funnin' about on the side, but the relationship is me an Tannusen.

Oh.

[He took another moment to process that. So, just two people?]

N-No one is dating Trahearne?

Not that I know of, but I haven't gone about askin' him what his current relationship status is.

Oh...

S-Someone should date him, too. H-He's nice and handsome.

[Really, how was he not taken already?]

I've the feelin' should Trahaerne want someone, he'll easily find someone. In the meantime, he's got Tannusen and myself to keep him company here, even if it isn't datin'.

[That softened him. Maybe, for some reason, Trahearne hadn't been discovered yet. But he wasn't alone.]

I-I'm glad you're all together. It sounds really, really nice. A-And cozy.

[And also he felt better with other people there with Cassian.]

Tis quite cozy, yes. We're all doin' well for ourselves at the moment.

[Hearing that Cassian was doing so well made him feel warm inside. This really was a move that eased his worries in a lot of ways, and it was good that everyone seemed so happy with it. He'd sleep a lot sounder tonight.

But he did at least know not to tell Cassian that he'd asked Tannusen to protect him.]

I-I guess I'll see you all when I come over n, next time. Do you want me to bring m-more herbs?

[More mouths to feed now.]

Of course, Bracken. That would be helpful, as always.

Feel free to come by for dinner when ye can too.

I-Is it okay if I bring Katze?

[Because if he was staying for dinner, it would probably be good to feed his boyfriend, too.]

If he can refrain from breakin' stuff.

[He grinned.]

I-I'll ask him not to!

[As if that was any guarantee. But he thought Katze would listen. So many people he likes, getting along and hanging out together... It was much smaller than the parties at home, but it sounded nice.]

Th-This weekend?

And he better promise!

Aye, this weekend works fine. I'll see what we got and what we need for a meal not made of ravioli and potatoes.

[He nodded.]

I-I'll make sure.

...W-We could bring something, too?

[No reason Cassian should have to bear all the expenses and trouble.]

Of course, Bracken. Whatever ye feel would be good.

Mind, one of us here is almost strictly meat, I believe.

[He's not ever really seen Tannusen... eat anything not meat]

R-Really...?

[It couldn't be Cassian. And he was pretty sure it wouldn't be Trahearne.]

T-Tannusen...? He doesn't like desserts?

He might like desserts... Just a moment-

[Aaand after a moment]

Dessert will be just fine.

O-Okay! We'll bring dessert, then. I-I think Katze would like making sweets.

I-I'll make sure he doesn't eat them a-all before we get there.
