[Action] Awkward Moment at Garden Parks Apartment

[It was just another normal day in Garden Parks as most residents living here go off to do their daily life. However, it was just until you see Professor Sycamore is somehow staring at a strange fish creature with multi-colored scales and a creepy smile outside his apartment. As you can tell from the egg shell shards on the floor, you can tell that his egg just hatched when he was about to take a walk outside with it.]

So... It is a Pokemon...

[Unfortunately, he can't tell what kind of Pokemon it is. It's even worst as he is too confused and shocked to notice the fish Pokemon just flopping around the floor.]

[When you check a new video posted on the network, you first see Professor Sycamore in his usual lab coat somehow embarrassed as he scratch the back of his head before he starts the video.]

I think that it's safe to say that I should take back my previous statement before and confirm that we did receive some Pokemon eggs.

[In his defense, his egg hatched into a Pokemon he has never seen before. That and he was off-guard at the world's next intention.]

But back to the subject at hand, it seems it's not only the eggs was hatched, but I can guess that the wild Pokemon has returned to Genessia. While this is my first time seeing this kind of phenomenon, I am no stranger to these creatures. If you're a recent addition of Genessia, just call me and I'll try answering your questions.

Of course, I can't answer all of them.

[He then shows his wrist, revealing that his watch is replaced by a blue fitness smartwatch-like device as he turns it on and revealed a picture of the same fish Pokemon that was hatched a few hours ago.]

As I noticed, there have been several new Pokemon appearing alongside some that you already knew of and to be honest, I have never seen most of them, including the one that hatched from my egg. From what I can guess, the new Pokemon might originally come from a region that I didn't visit.

However, the Pokemon Center that recently appeared is generous enough to give us these PokeBit devices so we know the names and typing of the unknown Pokemon. I still have no knowledge about them, but I try my best on learning more about them if I can.

I know everyone is still confused by all of this, but like I said, just call me so I can answer your questions or stop by at the Pokemon Center in the afternoon.

[Just as he said in the video feed, Professor Sycamore is now in the Genessia Pokemon Center looking around the interior out of curiosity while wondering about the new Pokemon appearing alongside the ones he knew so far. After the new Pokemon phenomenon has started, he was relieved about leaving his Moonbucks job early to help out some confused residents about these creatures personally. Besides, what better way to help them out than to do a short lecture about them.]

[Just as he heard that familiar voice, he turns around and sees the young girl with her Sylveon, which he recognized the same one he met during his first day in Genessia. What's even more surprising is the bug Pokemon he also never saw before as he approaches Anastasia.]

I can't blame you for that. Basically, I can tell you that you should try to get used to his habit. I know someone that has a Pokemon who prefers to stay out from his Poke Ball as well.

[After spending significantly longer than was probably necessary in trying to reach the it— this Zigzagoon is an easily-distracted, overly-excitable butt and took nearly every possible detour it could, resulting in her following it rather than it following her, and it took nothing short of bribery to get it to cooperate —Celia has finally made it to Genessia City's Pokémon Center.

While she's over acquiring her PokéBit, her Zigzagoon is all over the place, sniffing around at anything it can find and then deciding it wants to try climbing Augustine like a tree. ...at least he can probably handle thirty-something pounds of critter all over him? Goddess knows Celia can't.

Speaking of the girl, when she turns back toward the Pokémon, she nearly drops her new device when she sees what it's gotten up to now, and quickly hurries over.]

[Mobius had no idea what a PokeBit is, but whatever it is, getting one from those random buildings that happened to pop up in every city seemed like a good idea. At least, a good idea for someone who has no idea what creatures just popped out of that egg.

While Mobius is distracted elsewhere in the Center (with a purple bat attached to the back of his head for a ride), his little mushroom buddy decided to go for a walk without him noticing.

Then in the video, an ice cream cone looking pokemon levitate in front of the screen, all white with a swirling head. The creature said, "Vanillite", so that's her name.]

Any tips in caring for an ice type? This little one keeps turning everything into ice.

Yes, these creatures once lived back in my world. Also, I'm a Pokemon Professor, which means not only I study more about Pokemon, but also give advice to any Pokemon trainer especially with the newcomers.

[He then looks closely at the Fresh Snow Pokemon as she explained her reason behind her question. He can't blame her as he can guess it is new to the world.]

Maybe you should try to help it to adjust its new surroundings. It might be a little scared and panicked to it, so you might help it try to calm down. Vanillite usually lives in the snow, so maybe you should let it visit some snow-covered areas in any city.

[In the video, Abel has two of his pokemon, a Yamask (Ghost-type) and a Solosis (psychic-type) hovering behind him. The two pokemon can levitate behind him, and Abel is curious about their powers.]

"Ah, hello there, I was wondering if you can help me? One of my pokemon, the one with the mask can disappear and goes through walls, while the other one, the green one can lift objects with her mind and talks to me inside of my mind. Is this natural?"

Why yes, it is. Yamask is a Ghost-type as it can use any supernatural abilities while Solosis is a Psychic-type, which can use its abilities such as telepathy and psychokinesis attacks.

Close, I'm actually a Pokemon Professor, which I can study more about Pokemon as well giving out any advice to any trainers especially you and the other residents.

[Once he sees the sea lion-like Pokemon, he is surprised at the sight of a new Pokemon once more. And judging by her words, he can tell that it's a Water-type Pokemon]

To be honest, this is my first time seeing that Pokemon as well. But I think you should try giving it some berries to see what flavor does it like before buying some Pokemon food for it.

As for to avoid the water, I think you should try letting it play outside before you can trust it to stay outside of it's Poke Ball indoors.

I imagined that you would be happy with all this, Garchomp has more friends like her now.

[One of Kay's Pokemon is a joltik, and the tiny creature is a bright yellow contrast over Kay's much darker frame. It was a blue bow around he's neck too, and he's currently stick on the droid's shoulder.]

...She's not particularly strong in a fight, but I noticed she has healing powers.

You are right about that. Audino is known not only for her incredible hearing ability, but also their healing powers as well.

In my world, they always served as Pokemon Center's assistants in the Unova region. Also, they have an ability to Mega Evolve.
