[ Well the weather may not be as ideal as Lucy would have wanted it, cloudy and all, BUT it wasn't raining. So it was good enough for her! She'd sent out personal invites to her friends, and encouraged them to bring THEIR friends, as Fairy Tail's motto is always, "The more the merrier!" She actually hoped to see some new faces at the party in fact. Under Erza's supervision, the guild was tidied up and made presentable for guests. Most of the rooms were even open to the public.

Regina, Neveren and Justyne had even pitched in, helping with the cooking; their dog Herb was content to lounge outside and watch the fuss. As for Lucy, she was putting the final touches on few of the tables near the pool, keeping an eye out for guests.

[ OOC: Just setting up extra threads, but go nuts! Everyone is welcome who has positive, neutral, or no CR with the Fairy Tail gang and wants to play in a pool and be exposed to the madness :D For visual reference the guild closely resembles this ]

[So once again she's the one stuck overthinking and fretting over things. Then again there were some topics he worried about. Though those were fewer than Lucy's. When he feels her hand in his hair he tilts his head a bit to press more into that touch while also keeping the kiss going.

His eyes are already closed so he doesn't see that Neveren's eyes have been covered by Justyne.]

[ Business as usual. He frustrates her no end, and she overthought things and stressed about it. Also it was really -hard- to break away when he was keeping the kiss going like that. Still she'd let her eyes close when she kissed him again, so while his close, hers slowly open, a bit reluctantly.

And ... she spots Justyne. Who, with her hand over Neveren's eyes, looked awed, because how -romantic- and she KNEW that her not!dad and not!mom were in love! Her knowing smile causes Lucy's face to go scarlet. ]

[ This time she breaks away again with a somewhat reluctant noise, pushing herself away because otherwise she would never break free. The flustered look on her face trumps that reluctance. ]

...I... um...

[ Okay try not to think about his kiss. Or being close to him. She glances around but phew, only Justyne, Regina and Raye caught them being close with each other. ]

[Breaking away? That was the last thing on his mind. However while he does immerse himself in the feelings running through her lips and into his body, she suddenly puts some distance and he is left hanging a bit.

As such he finally opens his eyes and sees how red faced Lucy is now.]

Y-Yeah me too um....

[He can't quite get her to look at him so in the end he just leaves it be. Though part of him already wishes they could pick up where they left off.]

[ She had to or otherwise she wouldn't have and then EVERYONE would have seen them kissing. And that just wasn't something she was prepared for. ]

We um...

[ Well it was nice to see he was just as out of sorts as she was. Even though part of her would have been perfectly fine with picking up where they left off. Especially if they had been alone - oh good LORD if they had been alone. She can't quite meet his gaze, as flustered as she is, but she nods, embarrassed. ]

U-um. We... sh... we should get back to the party..
[ Thank god no one else noticed them. ... and why did she kind of wish they weren't here right now? No - BAD Lucy. ]

[Oh yeah! There was a party wasn't it? Well that does explain why her face is so red. Still he does make one comment.]

I guess. Though you really are a weirdo. Rewarding the person you beat.

[ She pauses at him calling her a weirdo, some of the blush dying down. Now she just needed the rest of herself to cool down, phew. ]

Beat...? [ Wait really? ] Are you actually admitting I beat you?

[ Or was it a slip of the tongue? In either case she couldn't help but grin a little. ]

[There is such a visible flinch he might have made small waves in the pool. That slip up was going to cost him dearly.]

I well uhhh...

[Damn his pride and loose tongue!]

[ Wow, that was quite a reaction. And he didn't say -no- or correct himself, so she's going to to assume that he was in fact, admitting it. And -boy- did she grin, folding her arms and nodding smugly. ]

Hrmhm, just as I thought! So I did beat you.

[ She REALLY shouldn't rub it in. It'll only make his revenge worse. But heck, he beats her at everything else SHE HAS to gloat a little. She'd strut, but she's in the water, so can't. ]

Maybe I should go mark this day down in my journal.

[ Ohoho that's a perfect idea ..because she's going to write about the kiss anyway.. but she's grinning like the cat that ate the canary, starting to make her way towards the corner of the pool to get out. ]

[Oh she's really eating it up. And worse that he can't really stop her so he'll just watch her gritting his teeth in frustration.]

Hey don't you dare!

[He has an image so he's wadding through the water after her now. She better climb out of the pool fast!]

[ No he can't! She won't gloat long, just for the rest of the day. And she won't tell anyone else -why- so his image will be safe! Only Lucy will know. Heehee. ]

Kyaa!

[ Oh man he's actually coming after her. She scrambles out of the pool quickly, turning to hurry back into the guild. Before she does though, she stops, turns to look directly at Natsu.

And. Deliberately. Razzes him. Tongue sticking out and everything. NYAAAH. ... Then she runs for it, dodging around some of their other guests to get inside. ]

Get back here Lucy!

[He's still struggling to climb up but is going to try and chase her down. Until he actually gets sidetracked by the hippo king's cannon ball.]

[ EEP! She's going to just lock her door .. and her window... because that willl -totally- keep him out ... and hide for an hour. That should be long enough for him to get sidetracked by something and then she'll be safe. YEP. ... and he better not go looking for her diary. Thank goodness for King Hippo's distractions! ]
