[Today, Kaguya is surprisingly not appearing from her apartment! Instead, she appears to be standing behind the counter of a cozy little shop, her Chimecho floating contentedly behind her.]

Well, now that the excitement has died down a bit, I suppose now is the perfect time to announce that my quaint little shop is open for business!

[She grabs the device and pans it over to show off the rest of the shop's interior, which is mostly a variety of bonsai, pots, and other supplies one would need to begin and groom their own miniature tree.]

This is 'Princess Kaguya's Bamboo Forest', located on Maple Avenue & 7th Street in Genessia. [Kaguya can't help but smirk a little. Yes, she may be slightly vain. There are actually a number of bamboo plants around as well, and peeking out from behind one is her Lurantis.]

[Play it cool, Satsuki. Play it cool. She crosses her arms. She reaches into her jacket with the same motion, then withdraws a black marker-pen.]

Will this suffice? And just so we are clear, I do not mean interested in being wed.

I do not know if you are aware, but the tales of some of your deeds are known by all in modern-day Japan, retold over various forms of media.

[She takes the offered marker, still looking smug as ever.]

It'll do. Oh? That's a welcome change. I do hate to disappoint, after all.

So it would seem. I saw a picture book in a shop the other day. It was cute, although quite different from what I remember.

[She steps over towards a cluster of potted bamboo plants, popping the cap off the marker.]

So. Who should I make these out to?~

[Satsuki supposes she can't fault Kaguya for appearing smug, and rather than see it as a lie, she figured that the mention of hating to disappoint was a joke. Satsuki stares and a strange outward breath sound follows.

That was a laugh. :(]

That is not surprising, unfortunately. Retellings creating change over time is not uncommon.

[After all those countless marriage proposals, the ex-princess gets quite a kick out of humiliating those who'd continue to try. And hey, it ended up giving her a rival to join her in eternity, so it's a win-win.]

Indeed, that is true.

[Kaguya is just evil. Sure, she could just admit she knows that these aren't for someone else, but...where's the fun in that?]

Who's that? I haven't heard the name before.

[... Erk. Well, Satsuki hadn't expected that question, but it does make perfect sense given the situation. She actually feels her cheeks heat up a bit because she unintentionally just dug herself into an even more embarrassing hole, albeit not in the way Kaguya might intend. Also, Satsuki can't simply tell Kaguya that it's none of her business!]

Let us say she is someone close to me. We have had.. Issues in the past.

[Kaguya has also had centuries of practice finding what buttons to push and whatnot, too. Keep on digging that hole, Satsuki.]

Oh, so a make-up present. How delightful.~

[She hums, still trying not to giggle as she crouches down, ready to sign the first pot.]

Hm...how to sign them now...

Mmnf.

[She doesn't agree nor disagree, but she really does feel that she needs to make further amends with Ryuko. The out loud ponder quickly snaps her out of her brief funk, and she actually appears a little surprised.]

Ah- no, it does not need to be anything fancy, just your name would be acceptable. It would be more than enough; I insist.

[For the love of god she doesn't need a 'to my #1 fan' OR Ryuko's name on her purchase!]

Very well.

[It was a very close call. She'd been about to write 'To Ryuko, with love~' or something along those lines. But Kaguya goes ahead and just gives the first one her signature.]

[~~KAGUYA~~ Whew. Her shoulders relax as she nods.]

You have my sincerest thank- Where is Bonsly?

[She looks left to right, then upward to find the Bonsly suddenly 'frozen' as it sits upon one of the dangling lights. She raises a hand to her face.]

... How did it even get up th- Bonsly. Down.

[If Kaguya has any slick ideas about how to handle the second pot, now might be the time!]

[Should she actually be teasing her boss like this? Probably not, but hey, it's what Kaguya does. Satsuki will ~~hopefully~~ get used to it sooner or later.]

Oh, it's not a problem. Hm...?

[She follows Satsuki's gaze to spot the wayward little critter. Honestly, she's a little surprised, rather than upset or irritated.]

...that's impressive.

[It's rather likely; she's gotten used to Koishi after all. Besides, Kaguya also has the advantage of being admired by her.]

That it is.

[Satsuki sighs as she shakes her head, then reaches into her pocket to withdraw several red bills.]

If it is not an issue, I shall return it to it's ball post-transaction. How much will it be?

[It's okay. Kaguya will only get worse from here on out. Just give her a moment to sign the other two now.]

It'll be fine. That'll be... [Insert fairly reasonable, but somewhat on the expensive side price here!]

[~~Oh god~~ Satsuki hands over the payment, then recalls her Bonsly within it's pokeball. Sensing that things are wrapping up, her Furfrou gets to her feet with a large yawn.

Meanwhile Satsuki successfully manages to keep from looking excited about receiving her purchase, though her eyes are looking more at the plants than the seller at this point.]

[Kaguya accepts the bills with a smile and nod.]

Thank you for your patronage.~ [To be fair, they are good looking plants!]
