Viiiiiideo/Action for Genessia City
How is this...
[You know? Being told he was being banished for a few hundred years, it wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. He really expected to be... dead. Really dead. Painfully dead. Or tortured. And dead.
Some combination of the two.
He supposed, grimly, that the Charred Council had just assumed he'd merely been tricked by Abaddon into allowing the End Times to begin early. That the captain of the Hellgaurd had already fallen before this point and the Well Watcher had just been deceived.
He'd say he wasn't that gullible but...
In any case.
This wasn't... what he had expected to see. This wasn't the wasteland he was so sure he'd be thrown into. No desert crafted from the ashes of the dead, no burning city, no massive cemetery.
It was... it was alive, he could scarcely believe it. He'd almost thought perhaps that the hologram in the cave had just been some forgotten technology, there was no way this could happen and yet-
The phone.
Well he'd be a pretty crummy lover of humans if he didn't know what a cell phone was. He really didn't have to ponder too much on how to use it either. Wings awkwardly shifting and fluffing in confusion and silent, frantic hope, he pulled out the device.
He had to see something. He had to know. Standing outside the caves, he evened his voice, prepared his expectations and...]
... Is there anyone else here?

Off he ever went with her, keeping up easily enough as she chattered about food and taste.
She really was precious, wasn't she?
Crackle rocks? ... Ah, pop rocks. Another human candy. He fussed with the toppings for a moment, watching her as she dug in, before just rather delicately sampling his.
Well of course it was good. But wow was that sweet.
He was going to have to take his time with this.
"... Where are you from, if you do not mind that I ask?"
Because sitting here watching her eat is spooky, don't be a creep, Az.

"Oh. I'm from Gensokyo. Humans didn't need magic anymore so sis and I moved there along with a bunch of other youkai. And we all took magic with us. Since humans didn't rely on superstition anymore." She took another big bite of ice cream.
"Then the yama of paradise let us live in Chireiden so that sis could figure some stuff out to do with it and we moved underground with all the oni. It's not actually hell though. Its the place hell used to be before they moved it. All the old equipment is still there though. Now it's really a nice place."

"I do not believe I've ever been to Gensokyo." Another very, very small taste of ice cream, this really was incredibly sweet.
"Have you found anywhere like it here? Are you comfortable?"
no subject
She drifted back slightly in the air, appearing to sit down. "If you ever get the chance to go to Gensokyo, you should. It's really beautiful. Especially in the spring with all the cherry blossoms.
no subject
Well what the diddly dang squat was that.
"I will attempt to do so, if I ever get the chance. I'm sure the blossoms are lovely in the spring..." He'd seen them before of course, a long, long time ago.

"All of Gensokyo isn't an archway here though. But there is part of Japan though. There's one that leads to a place called Tokyo. I went there with sis and we climbed a mountain there!" Satori youkai loved mountains. "We also spooked a few people for the sake of nostalgia but we didn't kill anyone. Sis and I don't actively hunt humans anymore."

Not a single fight or spell.
Call him greedy.
He might never open one at this rate, as interested as he was in its creation.
"I remember Tokyo." He'd been to every corner of the earth, after all. Any place a human had met their end, he'd seen it.
"I am happy to hear that." 'Anymore', well not anymore was better than still doing it. Any progress forward was good progress, right?

The little monster was this adorable and she subsisted on fear?! Well, to be fair, she was probably trying to look as inoffensive as possible or she had some sort of horrifying ability...
"And yeah. We stopped hunting humans a couple centuries ago. It helped Sis and I become a lot calmer and more civil. She still likes to chase deer though. A lot. And so do I!"
