First, I should thank everyone for their assistance when I first arrived. You were all most helpful. For those I've yet to meet, [ He inclines his head toward the camera in greeting. ] I am Dorian of House Pavus, and I find myself in need of assistance once again.

Nothing so dramatic as my arrival, of course. I was simply wondering if anyone may have a recommendation from whence to acquire a viable and quality mage's staff, preferably of an Inferno aspect, or, more likely and more conveniently, where to acquire components with which to assemble my own. I'm well and truly capable of casting without the use of a foci, but in a pinch, speed and finesse is preferable to only finesse.

I'm afraid I'm not particularly informed about magical implements, but Fayren would be the best archway to start looking.

You know, I rather think I'd like to avoid the area at the moment, what with that nasty business in the paper.

[ He pauses for a moment before he leans forward against the desk. ] You wouldn't know anything about this ...Chimera illness, would you?

[ She shakes her head. ]

I used to go to Fayren more often, but nowadays it's only in and out to get to my world's subarchway to stock up on supplies. [ There's a reason for that, but she's not going to go into it. ] I didn't know anything until I read it in the paper. I'll ask Sun, though. He works there. He's not a mage, but if anyone's heard anything it'd be him. I can ask him about a staff, too.

Not being a mage, he's better suited to the task regardless. Fayren may be known for it's magical community, but I'm not stepping into a plague ground for anything. I can subsist without a staff, after all.

[ He inclines his head in a brief nod. ]

I'll gladly welcome any information you can provide, however. Thank you, Weiss.

That's quite alright. A lack of a proper shirt seems to be a running theme in swords for hire.

I would like to think they'd be more responsible. I, for one, am not going to Fayren until this matter is resolved.

[ She can guess considering their last conversation. ] I suppose that's true at times.

I can't blame you. I'll be asking Guardian Haller and Guardian Xander if they're planning on doing anything to contain the problem.

I think I mentioned before that I tend to be on-call all the time, but I can typically work a few things around if I'm given enough advanced notice as long as there isn't an emergency.
