It was night-time, and Velvet Lust was open for business. Tannusen could be found either at the bar downstairs, sitting on one of the stools instead of helping pour drinks, or upstairs at that bar trading commentary with the snarky bartender on duty. Either way, he was drinking tea.

B. [OPEN - anyone ICly under-age, or who just wants to]

Day or night, if anyone lingered for long enough just outside of the bar, it was going to eventually draw someone's attention.

C. [LOCKED - Velvet Lust staffers]

Before the bar opened for the night, Tannusen could be found on either floor of the establishment. Stocking things, fixing something, or... even lounging around as a tiger. Staff were always allowed to come and go for several hours before opening time.

Good. I am planning on taking a new position that may at times require some back-up. Namely yourself and Cassian Andor. I need you both to be on call.

I see. [He's not saying he agrees yet, since as far as he's concerned Grievous is not in any position to order him around. But he knows the man -for a wide definition of the word- is somewhat important to Cassian.]

What position are we talking about? Does Cassian know?

I am awaiting official word to give any formal announcements but I should soon be working with the Guardians of the cities. It will be an important yet dangerous role, dealing with any lawbreakers.

With the Guardians, that's quite the accomplishment. Congratulations on your future job then.

[Kay has met already a few of the guardians without realizing it, since he really doesn't pay them any mind, but he's aware of their importance.] I thought you had to be living in this world for a long time to be illegible for these kind of positions.

To be a Guardian yourself, perhaps, but not to be hired by them.

[Especially as Grievous will be one of the back-up Deputies, privately funded by the company.]

And what will your responsibilities be under them? No offence but you don't strict me as someoen who enjoys following orders.

I have been a leader of warriors but I am not a ruler. I have been instructed by Count Dooku in the past, during the war. I can follow orders when necessary.

I have no wish to take over this city. It serves no purpose to our galaxy and there is but one Jedi to deal with. In the absence of my people, it is my duty to protect the people of the city - and that is what the position will entail.

Count Dooku. That's a name I've only heard briefly. [It's been a long time ago since the man died and not many dare to speak about him.] What was he like?

That's really honourable, I'm glad to hear it. [He's come to see this place as a second home.] I'll do my best to help you when you require it.

Good.

As for Dooku, he is an important figure to the cause and a great fighter.

[There's a cautious respect there.]

He has his politics and agendas but our goals are not always aligned.

He sure was a memorable man, for good or bad.I mean, IS. My apologies, I keep forgetting about the differences in age.
