[When the video clicks on, it's a little fuzzy, because the device has been shoved in Jyn's pocket and she's moving, apparently. She managed to navigate to the video without meaning to while she was stuffing the contents of the box she woke up with into her pockets. The screen is smeared with moisture, which is just barely perceptible since the communicator is facing outward and there's some light coming through the fabric. In the background Jyn can be heard, though it's slightly muffled.]

This doesn't make any sense, where is this? What am I doing here?

[She sounds somewhere between upset and panicky. The last thing that she can remember, she was about to die, along with Cassian, and now she's woken up, utterly alone, in some cramped little coffin in a damp cave somewhere. Waking up there in the first place would freak most people out - waking up there when you're supposed to be dead and you were with someone and now you're alone.. well, it's something. There's a sound of splashing as Jyn walks towards the exit.]

[Her arrival into this strange new world had not been that long before the other woman had awoken, though it was by sheer chance the bookworm had remained in the vicinity to hear the other voice against her own whispering.

She had been waiting around the corner of the exit, wondering what sort of person would appear when they finally left the other-worldly Bay. She was half expecting some one a bit taller, though it it some relief to see another of her gender come out from the shallow waters.

The Princess clears her throat, putting a hand to her chest and offering a small bow to the other lady.]

I did not means to eavesdrop, but am I to assume that you are new here as well? My name is Zelda, Princess of Hyrule. I arrived only a few hours ago. I am not quite sure how much help I can be but- At least find some relief in knowing the place where you've arrived is a safe haven.. [She trails off for a moment, looking over her shoulders and back in the direction she had walked from.] At least that I am aware of.

[Seeing the strange woman brings Jyn up short as she emerges from the Bay, and she stops abruptly and takes a half-step back, with her foot poised for quick action if needed. She settles some at the introduction, though - this woman doesn't seem like much of a threat, but Jyn isn't stupid enough to completely drop her guard.]

A safe haven? [If she sounds doubtful, it's because she's doubtful.] Right, that hologram woman said that this was a safe place.

[A pause, and she scuffs her boot against the stone, thinking hard.] My name is Jyn. Are you really a princess?

[Okay, there's a part of her that needs to know that. That part of her is five.]

[The familiar voice is muffled by the device being in her pocket, but when she hears it, Jyn freezes up completely. Digging in her pocket, she gets out the communicator and stares at the picture - she hadn't expected it to be on, hadn't meant to turn it on, and she certainly didn't expect to see anyone she knew here. After all, they were all-- well-- she hadn't expected to see them, that's all.]

Bodhi? Are you here too? What is this place? [She takes a breath, just on this side of frantic, and manages a shaky smile.] It's good to see you.

[It's like seeing a ghost. Only that she is also a ghost.]

Yes, I'm not sure how they do it but people get taken and brought here and... it's pretty nice here, really. Most of the time.

[The blonde gives another bow, beaming brightly as she speaks. It's been some time since anyone was curious to her royal position, but then again she didn't speak with many who did not know of her lineage. It's a strange but welcome feeling, and one she is more than happy to drown in if given the chance.]

Yes, I am indeed. I've been told that it isn't a well known kingdom, least in this realm, but I am who I say I am. I'm the daughter to King Rhoam and a member of a long line of Princesses named Zelda. Quite a tradition with our family.

[It has also been some time since she has met anyone so informally, even if she was throwing out her rank and stature so casually. A hand extends out to the other girl, open and gesturing for her acquaintance to follow suit.]

It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Jyn, though I'm sure we can both agree that we'd have hoped for better circumstances, yes?

[Jyn is still a little taken aback, both by the fact that this stranger was a princess as well as her sunny demeanor - she wasn't used to people this friendly and happy seeming.]

..yeah. It's nice to meet you, too.

[She pauses, then remarks,] I've never met a princess before. There aren't many where I'm from.

Months? How? It's only been a few minutes-- [Or.. maybe not? She realizes abruptly that she has no way of knowing how long she had been asleep, or any part of how this works.]

[Jyn's expression brightens visibly when she looks back to the communicator. Probably she wouldn't have let it show so much if she'd been thinking about it, but considering that, for her, Kaytoo was... well, and recently..]

[After all, even if she did get to go back - which this stranger made it sound as though it were impossible - would she go back to where she'd been? Would she go back just to die? The thought is distressing.]

[Those words - "we've been waiting for you", the knowledge that at least some of the others were already here.. It takes Jyn a moment to respond, and she pretends there are no tears in her eyes. She doesn't like to cry, especially not in front of people - it's a weakness she's never been able to afford - but she would be lying if she tried to say she didn't feel it.]

They're here as well? And alright? How?

[She doesn't really expect an answer to that last question, but she can't imagine it. She remembers what happened, she remembers it and this all feels so unreal.]

So you weren't.. dying or anything when you came here? [Well, there goes one theory for why they're here.]

[He didn't mean to make her cry but Kay understands how shocking is everything, specially after dying. He was new in the city once too. And thus, he makes no sarcastic comment about these tears that sure aren't in her eyes.]

Yes, we are all alright. The how is a bit more complicated, we woke up in this world but no one knows exactly how we got here. I'll show you an hologram that explains the big questions and I have...some more good news to give you. But it's better if I tell you in person.
