Sonico Shoots [Action and Video]

  a) Genessia Shooting Range

Following the incident a couple of months ago where Sonico was left hospitalised and traumatised, Sonico feels like she should something more to protect herself and, more importantly, her friends. So she agrees to meet Cassian at the shooting range to start her training. Sonico arrives early, though, and she can be found wandering around, looking clueless and utterly lost.

b) The Hangar Queen Acoustic Gig

While Sonico was too afraid to leave the house, she decided to take the time to really try at writing some acoustic songs. Finally, she was ready to play her first acoustic gig at the Hangar Queen. In keeping with the theme, she dressed herself up in a real rather cute military outfit. 1) Before the gig, Sonico could be found hanging around the bar looking quite anxious. 2) During her set, Sonico's songs were sweet and soulful, more about acceptance and inner peace, even a couple about thw desire to be loved, feeling lonely. Very different to her usual fastpaced and motivational upbeat rock songs. 3) Afterwards, Sonico went in search of water, happy to speak to anyone who might have come along.

c) Last Shift at the Diner

Now that Sonico had a regular spot singing at Velvet Lust, on top of her other celebrity work, she didn't have the time, or the need, to keep her waitressing job. And so, Sonico smiled her way through her final shift at the Bright Sky Diner. She was happy as ever, but taking more time than usual to talk with her customers.

d) [Video] Otome Games

*Sonico appears on screen, eyes bright and her expression excitable. She's dressed comfortably, waving some Pocky sticks happily*

I've just been told that I'm all he's ever dreamt of - but at the same time...another guy, really handsome, has told me that he  needs me, urgently, and that it's killing him that he can't be with me! Isn't that exciting? Plus, this other man, he's just a gentleman and so sweet! What should I do? Want to come round and play?

[Gale made quite the effort to make sure Sonico's performance went as smoothly as he could possibly make it. He'd done several checks on the equipment to make sure they were in top condition, because he was gonna make sure that it sounded its best for a celebrity singer.

After her set, Gale approached her again, already with a glass of water in hand for her as if he'd read her mind. He smiled to her, offering the drink while he leaned on a nearby table.]

You're a wonder, kid. Your songs sounded fantastic. I'm happy to have been the one to host you for this one.

And that kinda outfit suits you, by the way.

*Sonico smiles and takes the water gratefully. She kind of just wants to guzzle the whole thing down, but that would be impolite, so instead she takes tiny, quick sips*

Oh! Thank you so much! And thank you, again, for working so hard to put it all together. I hope it was worth it for you. It certainly was for me!

*She is already a little flushed after the performance, but maybe more so after his compliment. Full of the excitement of the show, she giggles and gives a little salute*

[He returns that little salute with one of his own, even if he wasn't a fan of military. She was adorable, she deserves it.]

Of course it was worth it. I certainly wouldn't mind it if Hangar Queen or After Life could host you more often. You might even get me off stage once in a while.

[And that was saying something. He was kind of an attention whore. He tugged on the lapel of his Hangar Queen uniform.]

I even bet one of these tailored for you would look great on you.

*Sonico looks delighted at his comments, and smiles as she continues to sip at her water*

I'd love to do more! I should visit some time just for a drink or something.

*She lowers her eyes, a little embarrassed to admit this*

I've..never been before. But I'd like to go. Is After Life much different than here?

*Sonico laughs softly as his comment*

I'd be happy to wear whatever you'd like. I could even do a photoshoot too. Uhm, I'm a model too.

*Sonico adds that last part sheepishly, in case had forgotten, or doubted she'd be able*

I'd love to have you around more, and I sure as hell can tell the patrons would love it too.

[The reception to her performance made it pretty obvious. Gale'd welcome her with open arms.]

I always have performer positions open, even if they were for part time. [He winks then.] Employees get discounts too, and I don't mind giving freebies to my favorites.

After Life's the older sister of this place. Pretty much the same, but less uniform and military theme and more crystal walls. I modeled it after a place from home, with some help from my former co-owner. Vibe's not that much different though, just maybe a bit more upbeat than here during the day.

[He cups his chin in his palm.]

I only tell my employees what to wear in this place, what you wear and model is your choice, doll. Though I'd be lyin' if I didn't want to see how well one of these uniforms would look on you. Could even get it made in custom colors for you if ya wanted.

[Actually, note to self, having custom colored uniforms for performer staff would be a good way to separate them from the rest of the staff.]

It's too hard to figure! But then..maybe I should go with one guy and if it doesn't work out, then I can start again with one I like more. Or, one that's even more handsome!

*Sonico takes a moment to think about it, then holds up a hand to show off five fingers*

Five! One guy is just...I don't know, I think he wants me just to settle down and be his wife who does everything for them. Another guy who is...well, he's not very nice to others, even if he is lovely to me. So that leaves three who I really like!

*Yup, crossed wires in their communication, much?*

*Then she lowers her voice, not that anyone lives with her that can hear her*

a) Genessia shooting range

[Ted usually spends time at the one in Nova City, as it let him play with way-cool laser weapons. But sometimes he likes the more normal calibers too. What a shock to see a familiar pink-haired headphone-wearer. He goes to greet with some ear protection of his own, and has to shout to be heard above the din of infrequent gunfire.]

"Sonico! How surprising to see you here. I didn't know you liked firearms!"

*On seeing Ted, Sonico smiles and waves in greeting as it's the easiest way of doing so in a place so loud*

I didn't know you liked them either. I'm just hear to try them out!

*She has to speak twice, raising her voice much louder the second time*

"Haha, doesn't everyone?"

[He's a pretty big fan. Everyone should like guns. They're the best.]

"What were you thinking of trying? Magnums? Shotguns? Revolvers?"

[He needs the deets. It doesn't occur to him that someone might have invited her here; as far as he knows, it's all self-motivated. He'd never have guessed Sonico for the type.]

[Krista had spent her time at the bar writing. Nothing too interesting like most people would in situations such a s this, but more a check list of things that she needed to do for the awards, what she needed and people she needed to talk to. Things like that.

It just do happened as she was listening to the music, that this was the exact person she needed to talk to. Just going to wait until the other was done first.]

*Finished with her set, Sonico makes her way to the bar, keen for some cold water to drink. She stops nearby where Krista is and smiles at her while she waits for her drink. The other woman looks busy so she doesn't say anything just yet*

[She had finished writing, placing the pen down as she glanced on over.]

I was waiting for you to finish. Nice set.

*Sonico looked over at her smiled, bowing her head slightly in thanks*
