[It didn't take Chihiro long to figure out how it worked. The necklace now clearly seen around his neck as he checked to see if it was working.]

I wonder what program it was using? Could it be...I wonder if there is a way to find out. [He turned it over, showing various building. Guess whose trying to open it to figure out. After a not so sucessful attempt he flips it back over finally revealing his face. From first look it seems obvious that they are a girl, but looks can be deceiving.]

O-Oh! This is on. [He gives a small wave and a smile.] Hi, um... I'm Chihiro Fujisaki. I arrived here a day ago and um... I've read that leaflet so I don't have that many questions, but I do have a couple. [He seems a little nervous as he starts to fidget with the necklace.]

I'm wonder if... If anyone needs someone who can work with computers? [he knew right now that's all he could do, but....there was something else.] Oh and also....Um... How do I put this... How do people here get stronger? Do you lift weights? Or is there something I'm suppose to do?

[Seemed like a rather odd question to ask, but it was something he had on his mind among other things, but the other things could come later once he was more settled and into a routine.]

Thank you for listening, even if it does seem silly. [He gives a small smile as he switches it off.]

[Satsuki's interested in computer people right now so she responds. She doesn't look very friendly but.. Frowning is her default expression.]

I'm Satsuki Kiryuin, a new arrival but.. Not as new as yourself.

I assume it is paid work you are looking for, Chihiro Fujisaki.

I-I assume so, but I don't mind working for nothing just as long as I can try and survive.

[Hmnn. Well, she supposes she could see what this one has to offer, at least.]

I see. Very well, depending on the level of skill you show me, we will have either little or much to discuss.

Are you still at the Bay?

[He gives a small nod.]

I am! And I promise I'll be able to show you what I can do, so long as there is a computer.

[So Satsuki is about to go two and two for obtaining crossdressing computer programmers is she? Not that she has any idea either of them aren't girls. She seems skeptical, but of course willing to give a chance.]

Yes, we have one at the library, Northeast from your location. There are more powerful machines in a place call Nova City.

The streets are safe, but if you wish, I can meet you halfway.

[So this place is safe then? He sighed with relief at that, but yet at the same time after being in that school for who knows how long he isn't sure he would be brave enough to attempt it. No. He knew he should try at least. Strong people could do it and so could he.]

I can get there by myself, if I don't Ill inform you, okay?

[Satsuki frowns. Well, she was already frowning but she didn't feel she was giving some sort of monumental task. Still, she shows some patience and nods.]

That is acceptable. I shall see you soon, unless there is something else you would like to ask.

No, that is all. Thank you.

[He gives a little bow before switching off the device so he could start making his way.]

[As promised, Satsuki heads to the exact halfway point of the Bay and the library, their destination a number of streets away. She doesn't walk very slowly, so she may very well be the first to arrive at 9th Street at Kennedia Ave.

She isn't difficult to spot, not only adorn in white clothing that is an amalgam of military and school uniform but there almost seems to be a light shining down upon her. Satsuki's stance disciplined and straight, with both hands rest atop her sheathed sword that's planted upon the sidewalk.]

[Chihiro had taken his time walking the streets, getting adjusted to them the best that he could. After all he could be here permanently. When he finally reached the place he as suppose to go he looked around for any sign of the one he was suppose to meet, which thankfully wasn't that hard.

Walking over, he kept his hands gripped in front of him.]

Um, hello. I found my way eventually, so here I am.

[Satsuki's gaze upon Chihiro could be described as piercing. It isn't that she intended to intimidate the young one, but rather size 'her' up.

It's almost disappointing, really, but then again she did present interest in becoming stronger, didn't she? A long, drawn out sigh passes her lips- it's almost a greeting. Sort of.]

So you did, Chihiro Fujisaki. Here, you will want this.. At least until you get your hands on a laptop.

[Satsuki hands over a map of Genessia city. The archways that least to the other cities are marked, but the cities themselves aren't on there.]

[Chihiro had started to fidget a little more, feeling intimidated, which with him really wasn't that hard to do. But he knew he shouldn't let it get to him. If one must be stronger one shouldn't be so scared. Taking the map, he studies it, noting various things.]

Thank you. So this is the map of this place, but what of these archways?

Come, we'll talk along the way.

[Straight to business this one is; she gestures for Chihiro to follow then proceeds to march at a fairly quick pace.]

As you may already know, only those that wear these necklaces possess the ability to pass through the archways- They are essentially entrances to other 'cities'.

There is Attleton, a very suburban area. Fayren, which is a more mystical city where magic is common. Everglade.. [Beat] Is essentially a ghost town.

Nova City, I feel, is where you may show the most promise. It is a highly advanced city of technology.

[He followed quietly, making sure the map was safely in his hand. He listened as he heard about what the necklaces did. So that explains the archways on the map at least. He continued to listen until she had finished.]

Nova City... An advanced city. [Yes, that sounded like a place he could fit in well with. It would do rather nicely.]

So is that the place I would be working at?

Well, it is more of a suggestion. Your potential could be brought out to it's fullest there. You would not do poorly staying in Genessia City either, though.

[Satsuki glances over her shoulder.]

You are not the only person I've seen that's been willing to adapt to a new lifestyle rather quickly, Chihiro Fujisaki. But you are more eager than most. [Beat.] I imagine your desire to become stronger is related?

[Now that he had some idea of where to go, he knew he could make his choice, even possibly work in two places if he had to to make it work.

More eager than most to adapt... Well he guess that would be true, but there was more to it than just getting stronger.]

It's not the full reason...It's just...I have nothing to go home to any more. If I did then... [He gripped his map firmly, knowing full well that going back would mean he would be dead as a door nail and really had nothing left.] Let's just say I'll go back to nothing. [Tears had started to form in his eyes. He couldn't take that feeling of knowing that you were going to die and right now, he just couldn't take it any more as soon as the tears were rolling down his face.]

So, I have to move on and adapt here now. I've been given a second chance, so I have to take it.

[Satsuki comes to a sudden stop, and it isn't difficult for her to put two and two together. In fact it reveals a rather alarming point.

People could be brought back from the dead? No.. There must be something she's missing. Regardless when she looks back and notices the tears forming, her frown deepens. She doesn't know how to deal with the distress Chihiro's showing.]

That sounds like an excellent plan. [But the girl is driven, so she can appreciate that much. She reaches to the kerchief upon her uniform, removes a smaller, blue one from it, then hands it over.] Wipe your eyes. I'd prefer people not assume I've put you in this state. If you'd prefer to do this another day, I'd understand.

[He nods,] I-I'm sorry, I'll stop. [He starts to wipe his eyes slightly. Things will be okay, so he shouldn't cry. A strong person wouldn't after all so why should he?]

It's fine, I'm fine now.

[Satsuki shakes her head.]

The path of strength that you seek will take some time. It requires patience and the discipline to pace yourself; very few possess the ability to change themselves significantly overnight.

[However this does raise an interesting problem- The goal was for everyone to return home. What is to happen to those without a home to return to? She'll have to ponder a bit on that later.]
