Congratulations to the new and returning Guardians.

For those who do not know of me, I am General Grievous, one of the Deputies of Nova City under the Guardianship of Weiss Schnee.

I hope we all can work together in the future to maintain the safety and security of all the districts within Genessia and the surrounding towns and cities. Any dissent should be discussed before it escalates. Threats will be dealt with accordingly.

Are you recruiting deputies?

I'm keeping Blaze's, and I have asked Kay to work with me again. I understand it will look questionable, so he will be unpaid. I'm planning to cut pay for everyone so we can afford another paid deputy.

You do not think they will object to these pay cuts?

[captain_by_the_book]

I've discussed it with them already, and I'm cutting my own pay as well. If events proceed for Attleton at the same pace as they have been going for the past months, we'll need more manpower. There is no way around that.

Has there been a lot of trouble there?

Lately, yes. The last couple of months have been one crisis after the other for Attleton. The problem is, the town doesn't have a regular police force to handle petty crime and let the guardians focus on greater threats. All there is, is a neighborhood watch.

I'll avoid conflict as long as it's mutual. I may always be a little edgy, but the least I can do is give you and the rest a chance.

I have defended the city for some months now and much remains the same. Your fears are unfounded.

I will miss the last one who...expectedly left, but I will do my best and use what I've learnt over the past few years of being here to help Fayren.

Of course. Being here for two and a half years would do that for me. Would be strange for me to run for Fayren otherwise.

I guess that is true. Fayren, however, most people had been here already for a good few months before hand, or even years in a couple cases... Not 100% sure on that one though.
