Hey so, bit of a weird question. Anyone here ever heard of Torchwood, and could maybe point me how to get back to contacting the local branch? That'd be really handy, yeah?

Year and star system coordinates would also be fantastic, but I'm not holdin' my breath waitin'.

[She doesn't even know which universe this is. Much less how she got here without a dimension cannon or where everyone she was with went. Maybe they're here. But then maybe even saying their name depending on the universe is dangerous. Luckily, she's had 5+ years (give or take for literal dimension rewinds and time in the vortex) of experience in learning how to do codes.]

Here's a fairytale you've probably never heard before.

Once upon a time there was a big bad wolf. She wandered a city of metal filled with metal men. [Too dangerous to even say the world cyberman until she learned more!] She thought she was on a mission to hunt down her lost prince. But she was actually on a mission to find home. Bit like Dorothy from Wizard of Oz if you know it. And one day she met a man who wasn't a prince at all. He was a very brainy professor. There was even another man who started off as a mouse but turned into a lion full of courage, saving worlds he never even knew existed. And a really flirty captain who was probably too pretty for his own good. They weren't off to find a wizard. Just a blue box.

The big bad wolf ran away from home and her pack over and over and over again, but no matter how many times she ran, and how many new friends she made or which universe she fell into, something was always calling her back. 'Pparently you can't escape your family that easily. That or the Big Bad Wolf's mum was seriously terrifying and would fight a werewolf for diamonds and totally win.

That's all right, no one seems to have. It'd be a longshot even at... where I last was. [She couldn't call home it yet. Even now. Home had been the TARDIS for so long, even when she ran away from that universe, the TARDIS being her home was something that kept her going.]

No. [Laughs and shakes her head.] My world was so boring I ran off to find adventure. And never stopped running.

So adventures to other worlds?

[Sure his reason for running from his was, very, very different to hers. But they still seemingly both ran regardless. he could relate to that much.]

The best! I've yet to find anything even as close as fun.

What kind of worlds have you gone to?

[Rubs the back of her neck.] More than a few with the metal people though, one with spider people trying to take over the planet, and.... [She has to consider how dangerous it is to share or not.] One where zeppelins are the preferred mode of transportation.

[GUH she can't even mention Widow Wept or New New New (x15) York, or Raxacoricofalliptorius (she deserves a Doctor hug for saying it right even in her own head) --]

Oh! And one star system where the planets were all aligned perfectly like the scales of justice, so it was being used a prison camp and they were trying to actually push the furthest out planet into a closer ring so that it could get more sun hours, right? But it just made the whole thing wibbly wobbly! And this one planet, had this crazy cult and the only way you could get around was hopping on one foot and my friend said something to make them all mad so we had to run away-- [GIGGLES] But hopping on one foot!

[Bites her bottom lip.] He still owes me Barcelona the planet. Maybe the city too.

That is a lot and unique worlds. Though I do agree on hopping on one foot is strange but mildly amusing as well.

Mine doesn't sound as fun. But the First world I ever went to we all gained our own Kudan the moment we arrived in the world. They bond to you and protected you. They were like the gods of that world and there are potentially millions upon millions of them. Then in another world, we played chess, but it's very different from the chess normal people would consider. Way more violent and illegal I believe since it was something the mafia did.

Kudan? Whoa... [Blinks.]

Okay mafia chess sounds wicked fun though! What happens when you win?

Yes. My travelling companions all had one. Mine was a giant bird that gave me the ability to fly. That was fun. made dodging a blast.

Well you got a prize. I believe it's different yearly, but it was always big.

[He goes quiet, looking away. Nope, not going into detail on that one. Avoid. Avoid.]

Wait... like a financial prize? With real killing? No. Not fun. What is it with the future and creepy murder-games? Murder isn't a game. [Facepalm.]

It depends. What we won is different well partly. We did get money as well as one other thing. Also no killing was involved in the actual games. Shocking was a thing though, I believe but at worse, you'd just get hurt but not killed.

[Not counting the post games a nice little reminder to him. Not..that he had control of himself when it happened and it was set up so that would happen, but still.]

[Deep breath and lets it go, closing her eyes, and nods.] That's... not so bad then.

Was the other thing worth it?

[Because who cares about money? It's easy to obtain, and doesn't buy what you really want or need in life.]

Still sounds kinda fun.

I got roped into this game show which I thought was totally hilarious and ridiculous at first. Until I found out they were killing the losers. Not so fun.

That really isn't fun. I mean... Why kill the losers? That's just wrong.

Because the games were being run by genocidal aliens who hate humanity, and were curating the strong ones to genetically mutate.

Such a strange world. Besides, I wonder how they would tell who is human and who isn't?
