Wild MEWTWO wants to fight! (Backdated to the 8th)

[Mewtwo had issued a challenge and then arranged a battle with the only other person in this place with experience with Pokemon, so a battle was inevitable. The only real purpose for this was to put the power every Pokemon held into perspective. As such, Mewtwo had selected a nice and wide street just outside of Nova City. He'd spent a while picking the place and setting up his device to give a good angle for viewing the battle before returning to the ground, taking a seat and starting the feed.]

[Still, he couldn't help but be a little excited to see how much Brock and his team had grown, not to mention attempting a new trick he'd learned while visiting the Kalos region after parting ways with Ash and his gang for a second time. This should be very interesting indeed.]

[Brock wasn't normally one to fight Pokemon battles because he wasn't your standard trainer. Though he was a gym leader, Brock had since been expanding his knowledge on breeding Pokemon. The necessity of demonstrating a battle was irrefutable.]

Geodude, go!

[From the pokeball, a semi-large boulder looking pokemon with arms and a face formed. Most of the Pokemon Brock had been through weren't permanent. Like Vulpix. So he only had three.]

[Mewtwo eyed his opponent up as he stood. He could easily take it down in one hit with an Aura Sphere, or any psychic attack really. But that would defeat the point of the battle.]

It's about time someone got up the courage to confront me.

[It's all he said before inhaling deep and exhaling a Flamethrower at the Geodude.]

Geodude. Dodge!

[Though Geodude did not specialize in agility, fire didn't travel fast, so it could easily evade the attack.]

Use Rock Throw!

[It broke the ground beneath it, collecting a large chunk of the earth, and hurling it at the psychic pokemon.

Brock was well aware of this disadvantage in this battle, but again, it was just a demonstration.]

[Mewtwo crossed his arms over his face, a large blue shell materializing around him that intercepted the rock. For a counter attack, he waved his hand across the air, sending out a handful of star-shaped projectiles that homed in on Geodude's position.]

[Swift, a good attack for range and speed. Geodude had the misfortune of taking the hit.]

Geo! [The rock pokemon guarded its face during the attack. Most of it's health depleted, just like that. It didn't look like it could continue.]

Geodude, you did your best, it's time to return.

[Brock didn't want to strain him. Geodude still hasn't fully adapted to its new environment. He held out his pokeball, allowing it to return.]

[Another pokemon weak to psychic, unfortunately. Meetwo must have really been holding back for this.

Brock threw out his next pokeball, from it, emerged a slim bat-like pokemon.]

Crobat, go!

Use Wing Attack!

[Instead of taking the attack this time, Mewtwo propelled himself upward, spinning as he did so. Once he was facing the Crobat again, his eyes shone for a moment as he attempted a Disable attack.]

[The bat pokemon was struck by the aliment. Brock seemed unmoved the action. It wasn't the worse and he had other strategies in mind. Losing battle or not, he'd give it his all.]

Try Air Cutter!

[Crobat, known for its extreme speed, rushed in at the psychic pokemon and went in for the attack.]
