Something Old, Something Blue

What: Jibber jabber about weddings

Well, planning had to happen eventually. Guest lists, who could and definitely could not come, food, place to have the entire ceremony, who the hell was going to officiate the fucking thing.

Could he officiate his own wedding?

He didn't know it wasn't like priests were allowed to get married anyway. Then again, what was actually important was all the paper work and legal nonsense-

He needed a drink.

A drink and a chance to sit down and talk with Tannusen.

It was, really, more than just general plotting of various, important marriage matters, he'd something to give the other man too.

No need to call him when he was still in the house, the priest calling out at some point in the day-

"Oi! Tannusen, ye awake?"

If he wasn't, well that was about to be fixed, wasn't it?

He leaned in, mere inches from Tannusen's face as he went to blindly tie the apron. It didn't matter, he certainly could not say he minded being this close in the slightest.

"And put ye in a box? Never."

That was a far sweeter response than the witty banter Tannusen had expected to get in return, and as soon as the priest was done tying the apron the tiger moved to kiss him.

It was a surprise, but by no means an unwelcome one, and after a mere second to collect himself, Tannusen was kissed back, Cassian lazily draping his arms over his shoulders.

Tannusen took his time with the kissing, and when it came to a natural conclusion he leaned his forehead against Cassian's for a moment.

"So what else is there to plan? What the strippers start off wearing?"

One hand moved to rest lightly at the back of Tannusen's neck, threading his fingers again gently through his hair.

"Tannusen." Dick.

"Don't show up naked, either."

"Would I ever do that?"

The answer is yes, yes he would.

"Aye, ye would, a hundred percent, and ye'd wrap your todger in a bow too, I know ye."

"My, what a vivid imagination you have," Tannusen grinned, "I guess I'll just have to do something more subtle." Uh oh.

"Don't ye dare, Tannusen, save your wickedness for after the ceremony."

And up went Tannusen's eyebrows. "Oh really? That almost sounds like an invitation."

"After the ceremony, ye'll find out, won't ye? But ye won't learn a thing if ye forget your manners."

"I suppose I can attempt to behave. Mostly." Tannusen siiiighed, sounding suitably long-suffering about it. "Just for you, gorgeous."

"And we'll all hope to God it won't kill before the end of the night. We'll send the guests off as early as possible."

Tannusen just chuckled at that, and shifted to sit beside Cassian again, leaning his head against the human's shoulder.
