Bounty: Shadow Monstrosity
Who: Bartolomeo and Namur
What: Bounty time! The Shadow Monstrosity: "Large and highly resistant to physical damage. Can control and shoot out fire." Sounds like fun.
When: whatever day this week they feel like it
Where: Fayren
Warnings: a couple of potty mouths
[It wasn't so much that Bartolomeo doubted his strength or abilities, compared to the newspaper reports of shadow creatures. The one and only reason he contacted Namur to see if he wanted to go on the prowl for a sizable bounty was loneliness. With every other pirate gone besides a couple of Whitebeards, Barty was starting to hate being by himself. He'd never been alone for lengthy periods before - whether his gang or his crew, he had always been surrounded by the hubbub of exciting friends and underlings. Here? Being alone sucks.
He's waiting outside the Drunken Monkey, not sure where they'll go from there but willing to sniff into all kinds of moldy corners of Fayren to find something shadowy. Bartolomeo's mind is on money and fun, and there's no room for caution or fear when those other things are bound to be had.]

Nah not a hell of a lot. Some warning about it being hard to damage, but I figured between the two of us we could make a few dents in it. Thanks for this, by the way. [waggling the bottle by the neck]
Figured we'd take a stroll through the town and see whether anything jumps out of the shadows at us. I mean, that's the deal, right? Shadow monsters? Can't expect to find 'em in the brightly-lit happy sunshiney areas.

[Namur rolls his eyes.]
Let's start somewhere the damn thing's been before, aye?

[there's some literally shadowed back alleys on the side of town away from the sea, more than one attack has happened there. Bartolomeo is intimately familiar with these streets by now, and leads the way directly]
How's things on your end? Everglade still a shithole?
