[Action]
The weather report had predicted a partly cloudy and mild day in Everglade. However, somehow the predictions seemed to be wrong as thick storm clouds began covering the city mid-morning. By noon, it would be difficult to tell it was even day, as thick as the clouds that hung over the city were. At about 12:30, it would begin to rain. But this would not be a normal rain. Thick drops hit the ground, filling the air with a vaguely metallic smell, and anyone who had any sort of light source nearby would quickly identify why.
It was raining blood.
Meanwhile, in Everglade's abandoned church, music could be heard. A piano could be heard playing a rather haunting tune as the blood storm raged outside. Within, several small floating candles lit the place as what appeared to be an old man hunched over the restored piano, fingers dancing over the ivory. He wore a cape that spread over the floor behind him disappearing into the shadows and a few shapes could be seen moving through just beyond the reaches of the candle light.

Hm. A wizard, perhaps? Fai mentioned those exist. [Dray, like all cats, is not as easily distracted as he is often more curious than wise. He is still trying to rub off the blood from his fur but starts looking around the church for something to help him clean himself.]
I admit it's an impressive trick but you should have chosen something better than blood. Like...frogs.

[He simply continues as the sound of the rain outside seems to be interrupted some by larger objects starting to hit the structure as well.]
The blood makes it far easier to summon my army, however.

[And given how Dray hasn't even heard stories about vampire, his answer is polite but he obviously doesn't fully get the meaning behind the word.
What he understands is that vampires are shady people who can make blood rain. That's enough for him to realize this can't be very different than dealing with Nava Eyka, they're not to be trusted.]
Are you planning on taking over the cities?
no subject
[It's said very matter-of-factly but the creatures in the shadow pay close attention to Dray, dozens of eyes locked on the feline figure from... a synonym for shadow that starts with F.]
[OOC: I love alliteration.]
no subject
His fur is standing up and he keeps an eye on the man and the shadows around them.]
Ah...and once that happens? There will be absolutely nothing left. A conqueror still needs the conquered. Otherwise, what's the point of ruling over ashes?
[ooc: beautiful.]
no subject
Who said anything about ruling? If I remain among the ashes, I will be happy to be the king of ash and live eternity in solitude. It would be a more peaceful existence than what I endure now.
no subject
So, the guy's frustrated with someone or something, clearly.]
Eternity is a really long, long time. [His tail curls around Dray's feet and he crouches down on the floor.] People is bothering you?
no subject
I am already damned to an eternity of pain. Removing humanity would only improve the circumstances.
no subject
[He doesn't think humans are so bad, just strange. But he's not about to discuss that with Dracula, that for sure.
Dray rubs he fur of his leg, trying without much success get rid of the blood stains.]
Can I ask what did they do to you?
no subject
No, you may not.
[Insert awkward silence here, broken only by the piano.]
no subject
[Not so awkward on Dray's part. He lived with people far more rude than Dracula for ten years. It makes him more wary than anything because hes' expecting things to go south soon.
Dray eyes the world outside, still gettign rained on by blood. The lesser of two evils it seems.]
I wouldn't want to disturb you further....
