Here's one thing I don't understand. Why do people think it's sport to answer genuine questions seeking help, by "trolling" or telling them to kill things? And then get to show off how "badass" they are by the number of people they've beaten or corpses they've accumulated?

That, by the way, was a rhetorical question. They do it because they're attention seeking and the only way they can get said attention is by making someone feel inferior or at least afraid of their "mad killing abilitez" as the kids say.

Well obviously. I think that was my point. It's just annoying. Like a bunch of children who have no other way to express themselves-- other than murder and taunting others, I suppose.

You also might be thinking on it a bit too hard. It's a boredom-killer that only takes a few seconds to type out. They don't feel hollow, they literally don't care.

Actually, I think punching is a perfectly sensible solution. You release all your rage in a primal bout of energy that mankind has been using since the dawn of time.

She doesn't really seem like much of a punching kind of girl though, so I suggested she try to talk her problems out. I've been a bartender for a number of years, so I've had a bit of experience talking to people to solve their problems.

I used to not let myself get sucked into things like this but that's the problem with being locked into one place with time going in order. You get a bit tetchy.

I've said it about a thousand ways to her as I know how but there are some things that can't be solved. What she needs and what I can give, despite what she says by the way, are two diametrically different things-- But that's fine. I can live like this. It is what it is. She'll get through it as she does and we'll all breathe a little bit easier until we can figure out how to get out of here and I can go back to what I was originally doing.
