This is me forever
Who: Kirika Yuumura, Aya Fujimiya, and Seth Rim
What: Bounty Hunt and shop visits
When: Aug 29th & 30th
Where: Attleton | Kitten in the House Flower shop in Attleton
Warnings: Assassin mission and cute visits.
A. Bounty Hunt: Closed to Aya
Ever since the newspaper was released, Kirika eyed on a particular bounty in Attleton, her new home. It wasn't quite the job she was used to back home, but it was the same concept. Bounty hunting was something new and was leaned more to capture for custody than execution. If anything, she suppose she could call the law enforcement and provide the location once captured if anything for the target. She had gathered information around town about the Hearttaker whenever she had a chance it be after school or work. If there was anything she learned from the previous jobs back home, baiting herself had always been quite effective, and young school girls made perfect targets.
After Kirika finished work, she walked around town where the sightings taken place for the murders. It was getting late, close to eleven. Eventually, she sensed a stranger followed behind her. Kirika tucked her hands in her pockets casually, as if she was unaware of this stranger. For now, she walked along the block making sure the individual followed, patiently.
B. Flower Shop: Closed to Seth
The next day, Kirika was quite tired. Things didn't go as expected last night which left her right hand bandaged. She came to work right after school. She wrapped her work apron around her and began her chores with the flowers. When her chores were done, Kirika was by the register counter either doing school work or reading a book. A couple yawns escaped from her once in a while from tiresome. Sometimes she would drag herself outside just to sweep the entrance, if anything, mostly to keep away from the group of girls who came to look for Aya. They would question Kirika at school, and that was enough for her. Honestly, she would try to find anything to keep her awake.

"Let me know when. I'll be happy to be your guide." It was an easy thing to promise since he was in Everglade for work and most of his work involved pacing around the city. It was lucky for his boss that he didn't need sleep, of course no one knew that.
"Are you hungry?" He asked since they hadn't actually figured out if they were getting tacos or not.
no subject
"Okay." She said almost shy, with a nod. Even in this world, she felt like a burden. She would ask and like to know more if she could. There was limit she could do and explore back home. Slowly, Genessia was taking the fear away from her, little by little. She was curious like a cat.
Who could say no to tacos? Usually she'd cook, but not tonight. She gave another nod. Not long after, there was the taco stand next to the complex where she lived. It was hard to pass up the smell of fresh beef and tortillas.
no subject
"Sounds good." Seth didn't need to eat but the idea of tacos sounded amazing and when they got to the stand he was a little excited to have tacos.
"What do you want? It's on me."
no subject
If the people at the stand talked Spanish, Kirika would respond back in Spanish as well. She knew a couple languages which surprised her time to time.
Her smile beamed when he agreed for food. "Um, beef, lettuces, and cheese is fine." She wasn't picky, and enjoyed the simplest things. "Two, if that's okay." She knew if she tried to refuse his offer, he'd dismiss it, so she went along. She made a mental note to owe him at least for later, whenever they cross paths again.
no subject
He wasn't very picky either however; he was interested in the things that Kirika liked.
Once he paid, he turned back to her with his usual smile. "They said it'd take a moment." He gently pressed his palm against her lower back, guiding her a few steps to the side. It didn't take long before Seth was turning back to the counter to grab a bag of tacos.
"Do you want to eat these here or at your home?" They were close to her apartment but they could always find a nice bench to sit and eat if she didn't want him going inside of her home.
no subject
"Hm?" She spoke when Seth asked her a question. Kirika wouldn't object her place, but she wasn't used to inviting guests. Now if it was anything like the moonlight tea party, the assassin invited herself in that time. It was an interesting evening.
"Um, either is fine." Once again, she didn't seem to mind as well. "I have drinks and tea at home." For some reason English tea and tacos didn't seem odd at all to her.
no subject
Seth chuckled softly. It was an odd combination but not a bad one. With the bag in hand he gestured for Kirika to lead the way to her place. He knew the building but he didn't know which apartment was hers and he wasn't in the habit of making those sorts of guesses.
no subject
Kirika gave nod and lead the way. The time they arrived there, they were on the second floor, second door from one of the corner. The ceiling were built a little lower so it didn't favor the tall people. Kirika favored the top floors only because she could get a better view of the town from her window.
She opened the door and allowed Seth to enter first. She would follow behind and closed the door. She removed her shoes and set it by the doorway naturally. The complex was simple with furniture available with the move. There was no alteration from her end, Kirika felt what the apartment offered was enough. It had a small kitchen table with two chairs, a long couch with a coffee table, the kitchen was small and open, and there was a small hallway which lead to the a bedroom and bathroom. The only thing probably stood out was a simple house plant by a window. In all the place was clean. Kirika set her bag down on the couch, but made sure to pluck her flower gift from her bag.
"Please, make yourself at home." Kirika gave a nod as she headed to the small kitchen. "Um, do you have a preference?" She paused for a moment curiously. "Tea I mean."

With one hand shoved into his pocket and the other holding their bag of tacos, Seth stepped into Kirika's home. His pale yellow eyes glanced around the room before landing back on his lovely host. He followed her example and removed his shoes at the doorways. Customs changed from person to person and Seth was used to going with the flow. He then placed the bag on the kitchen table, unsure if he should get out plates or allow Kirika to. It wasn't his home and he preferred to act like a guest.
"You have a lovely home." Even if Seth was a little tall for it. "Whatever you serve will be perfect." He assured her with an easy smile.

Meanwhile Kirika didn't mind acting the hostess, it was her home. She set the kettle on top of the stove and let the water heat up for now. She brought some mugs and plates to the table. "Thank you." She said while she was setting up the table. "It came like this, so moving in was easy." Although it was quite puzzling to why moving was made easy in this city, or world.
"Um, sorry about the ceiling." She admitted, thought it was discomforting to him.

He was used to fitting into small places. In most cases he changed his size but he was trying to keep most of his abilities a secret; that one most of all. He flashed her a brief smile before taking out the tacos and placing them next to two of the chairs, one of which he took a seat in, mostly trying to stay out of the way.
"Thank you. Don't forget to put the flowers in water." Just in case she forgot that she has those.
Seth watched her with a warm, entertained smile as she moved around.

Kirika worked at a flower shop, she knew better. She paced to where she left her present, picked it up, and headed back to the kitchen. Thankfully the stems were short enough to fit in a drinking glass. It wasn't as if she was using the dishes all at once to herself.
The kitchen was wide open for anyone in the apartment to see. Time to time, she would look from the side and quickly glanced at her visitor. She picked a glass and filled it with some water before she placed her flowers in there. Once it was done, the kettle whistled which brought to her attention. For now, she put flowers on top of the counter, visible to see. It was time to blend in the tea leaves with the water. Once it was done, Kirika brought the kettle over and poured some in both mugs. The tea was an orange color. She set the kettle aside, on the kitchen counter before she taken a seat a cross from him.
"There we go. It's orange pekoe." She blended herself.

"I think they like it here." He looked up at Kirika as she began on the tea. "The flowers."
His fingers grabbed the taco carefully and took a bite. Seth knew he'd eventually make a mess. It was the way of tacos but he was a guest so he was going to try and make it as less messy as possible. He was licking his fingers when she poured them a pot of tea, half of one taco now gone.
"Thank you. It smells heavenly."
no subject
"You're welcome." Pleased about the tea. "I actually did it myself. Learned from a book." Which she felt proud of herself, so she smiled. Kirika loved certain books, tea blending was one of them.
It was her turn to unwrap one of her own tacos, and she does. Kirika doesn't mind mess, and tacos tended to be messy. She would take a bite over the plate to catch the meat and lettuce. That first bite, her chin was dripping, so she held her head close to the plate, and swept it with one the palm of her hand. She gave her palm a lick, then wiped the remaining on a napkin. She didn't mind the mess at all.
no subject
After Kirika's first bite Seth leaned forward and passed her an extra napkin. He didn't think he'd need as many.
For a few seconds he watched her, his expression passive and calm. Then he turned back to his last taco. Once again, he took care to unwrap it and ate it in three rather large bite sin order to avoid making a mess.
"Those were delicious tacos." He comments as if he's talking to the air. "I'll have to stop by and get them again." Seth didn't need to eat to survive but he liked the way that food tasted.
no subject
It was hard for her to read what Seth thought, and she did looked up to him time to time, stealthy. She seemed to enjoy herself, even for the simplest things.
Eventually the first taco was devoured, and it was on to the next one. It taken her a couple bites, maybe five for her to get it done, while trying so hard not to let the meat fall off from the back of the food.
She drank the remaining tea before she was done, and wiped anything on her chin and lips. She nodded once, agreeing. "Mhm, glad you enjoyed them. Um, do you want another cup?"
no subject
He looked almost regal as he turned to her.
"Oh, yes." He passed over the tea cup which was more mostly empty. "If you don't mind." He didn't liked making her do everything but he was rather enjoying sitting back and relaxing against the chair.
"I like you're home. I know I said it before but I've had time to really look at it. It suits you."
no subject
She was mostly sitting upright on her chair, good poster, and would probably lean forward towards the table time to time. Kirika taken a sip as Seth spoke.
With the tea cup pressed on her lips, she shot a glance towards him, as if she was a little surprised. She held the cup away for a moment and looked around the home herself, puzzled, then back to him. It suited her?
no subject
"You look confused." He noted with a bit of a smile. Her confusion was cute though he knew that it was mean to think as much.
Seth cleared his throat and then gestured around the apartment. "This place. It suits you. Tilted short ceilings and all. It's perfect because it is unique. I think you're the same way. The things that make you different, also make you interesting and alluring." It was just an observation on Seth's part but she was welcome to disagree with him.
no subject
He wasn't entirely wrong either. It was a unique place, but as a place for her? Kirika tapped her mug lightly. She was different, that was for certain. Kirika shaken her head again as she looked away. "I'm not that interesting or alluring." Or at least wanted to believe it. "I picked the place because it sort of remind me of home."
no subject
He took a sip of his tea and slowly turned her words over in his head. It was curious though not in the traditional way. "You really think so?" He hummed softly. "Sometimes the mystery is the most alluring of all."
"Kirika." He spoke her name slowly, like it was something to be pondered, though it almost didn't sound like it belonged to her.
no subject
It was the next part what struck her the most. Just hearing her name spoke like that dropped her smile and her eyes felt empty as she fell quiet. After a moment of silent, Kirika finally let out a soft sigh.
"I'm a mystery." It didn't sound as if it was a question when she spoke, more of a statement with her tone so calm and low. She began to wonder who Seth really is.
no subject
He cleared his throat as he places his empty tea cup down.
"If you'll excuse me. I think I've over stayed my welcome." He didn't want to impose and he got the feeling that he was talking more than he should. It wasn't common for Seth but it happened from time to time.
no subject
So Kirika remained quiet for the most part, looking down at her cup. She lifted her head back to Seth when he announced his departure. Again, she remained quiet, unsure what else to say.
