[When River flicks on the camera, she's sitting in her office at her desk, and she's got an antique Earth map on the wall behind her. She's holding a cup of tea, and she's smiling.]

Hello. For those of you who don't know me, I'm River Song and I'm a professor of archeology at Attleton University. Normally, I specialize in Earth and Earthen settlement archeology from a multitude of time periods. However, given that I'm going to be here for the foreseeable future, I decided I'd try my hand at some more local ruins, if there's someone who'd be willing to be a guide. If nothing else, I do so miss having my hands in some dirt.

"Do even you have enough pairs for all of them? Something tells me the one that gave me my new sunglasses could probably get out if them. Could be the magician's coat he thinks is cool."

"This is me, mother. Of course I've enough of them."

[There's a wicked grin on River's face when she says that, and then she thinks about it.]

You know what, he probably could.

[She chuckled.] "He probably could," [she agreed. Sonic sunglasses. Probably helped. Then she grinned again.] "And it's just now dawning on me where you get that from. Huh." [And Rory gave her a hard time for that job. Course, so had the Doctor...]

[polyandrist]

[River just laughs.]

Maybe I did get an idea from you when I was Mels, Mum.

[Which sounds terrible so, River's just going to quickly shake her head.]

Forget I said that.

"Whiiiiich was when I told you I handcuffed him to the radiator. Oh god, it's all my fault... don't you ever tell Rory...."

[polyandrist]

Don't worry, mum. I'm quite good at keeping secrets.

[She laughed.] "You are. Far better than any of us, even the Doctor, I think."

[polyandrist]

[River grinned.]

Gotta be better at him in all the ways that I can be, mum

"Well, you're certainly the better daughter." [Grin and a wink.]

[polyandrist]

You can't say for sure. You've never seen the Doctor as a little girl.

[Teasing? You bet.]

[im_with_stupid]

"I still say you're the better one, but any plan to get the Doctor in a skirt and pigtails, count me in." [Bright grin.]

[polyandrist]

[That makes River laugh delightedly.]

Which one?

[Is that a dare, Amy?]

[She considered.] "Easy mode... sunglasses. Hard mode, tie." [Sure! She wants to be there to take photos.]

Hmm. I wonder if that might be the other way 'round, but I'd certainly be willing to make the effort.

"Really? Getting the one in the tie to smile is harder than driving a camper off the road, whereas Sunglasses knows us." [By which he means does pretty much anything she says and lights up when she enters a room.]
