Alright, listen up everyone. Deputy Guardian Dante Sparda here, and here's how this is going to work. You see anything that looks like a bomb? You call me.

You see anything that might be a bomb? You call me.

You see anything suspicious? You call me.

If you squint and see an object that might possibly be construed as potentially bomb-like if you tilt your head a certain way? You call me.

We seeing a pattern here?

I know I'm not the Guardian, but something tells me Cassian will back me up on this one. Do not approach, do not touch, do not even fucking look at it for longer than needed. You. Call. Me.

That goes for my fellow deputies as well.

[He sighs as he drops his camera carrying hand, as he's obviously out on patrol.] Just when I was getting comfortable too... shit...

[Dante is still holding his camera at his side as he walks, giving Sonico a good up-close view of his jacket and not much else.]

Don't worry 'bout me though. It'll take more than a home-made bomb to keep me down.

*Sonico can't help but sound a little grim - she knows that he can manage with this, but is still concerned*

Bombs are something else, I have to admit I didn't see that coming. And here I had been annoyed ny our artistic serial killers.

Yes, it's nothing unusual for me at home, either, though the circumstances are different, but I liked not having to worry about it here.

At the very least I doubt these are demonic in nature, so it's nothing I shouldn't be able to handle even if it goes off in my face.

That... is a point, yes. All the same I'd rather you don't get yourself blown up. I like my deputies in one piece.

Going by my experience with shrapnel, I agree. It'd also mean more paperwork. I'm pretty sure Stardust can find a form for that in our systems.

Split up with Bane he went after the culprit. Went to look for the bombs. Found one. Disarmed it.

Let's not waste time debating who should be doing what and take care of what needs to be done.

All due respect and all that, but what did I just say? You're not a Guardian or Deputy, and we can't have some random civilian going around poking the bombs.

[Confident and authoritative tone] I'm The Doctor. I'm 902 years old. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous. And I have experience disarming bombs.

[The Doctor has seen many, many bombs in his lives. There's a slightly rude undertone that he's not going to ask for permission to save people]

And I'm not going to ask for permission to save people.

[A pause]

Yeah, that doesn't tell me jack squat buddy. For all I know you could be making all that up.

You want to help people, fine. Keep people away from any bombs you find and wait for me to come deal with 'em.

[Dante quickly changes course for the location the Doctor mentions.]

Disarming something like that is a crapshoot. You may have stopped whatever timer there was, but we can't be certain it's completely disarmed. See, I'm not looking to disarm anything. I'm the bomb disposal guy.

[He really, really doesn't enjoy having to re-earn street credit, after 9 lives]

I did keep them away from the bomb as well.

[Ten will wait in the Bike Shop with the bomb to make sure no one tries to get back in]

No, it's not a crapshoot. Not for me.

[Secert is the sonic screwdriver]

If I knew literally anything about you, your skills, or your capabilities, that might mean something. However I don't have the time or luxury to take a risk on a complete stranger that, for all I know, is talking out his ass.

I've got a city to protect. If you want to help, fine, but you play by my rules.

[Were this any other time, Dante would've sympathized with him.]

I've spoken with the current Guardians and I'm registered as a Bounty Hunter.

[Going through all the red tape to save people is quite annoying]

Bounty hunters are not the same as bomb disposal units.

[Dante quickly makes his way to the bike shop, and strides in with an air of purpose. He retrieves the bomb without a word and goes back outside before chucking it high into the air. As the bomb ascends he pulls out a pistol that looks to be made of ebony, aiming it up after the bomb. Once it reaches the apex of its journey, Dante shoots, detonating it harmlessly overhead.]

There. Don't have to worry about that one having a failsafe or something to blow it up later.

[The video feed clicks on and what appears to be a cat-eared woman in a very fancy black and fuchsia furisode kimono emerges upon screen. Surprisingly, that's not their resident cat girl with the signature witch hat. In fact, that's not a girl at all.

Nao admittedly spent his extra earnings on clothing lately.]

Are you certain you do not require some assistance? This is quite the situation and you could use another comrade.

I'm positive. Anyone else would just slow me down, not to mention I'm the only one in town that we're aware of that can take a bomb to the face safely.

No problem there. I'm not about to get blown up...someone will know, you or Cassian.

I appreciate it. And I'd really rather you direct that sort of thing to me. Cassian's a talented guy, but he's not really in a position to just walk off taking an explosion to the face.

That's why I'm out here looking for 'em while others are tracking down the guy who planted 'em.

I'm not sure whether to hope you don't find any, or hope that you find any that're out there. Either way, good luck. Hopefully for all of us involved.

Hope for the latter. Because I'm not resting until I find all of 'em.
