If you blab about everything you're doing, he can stop you! You tell people about everything after he's defeated.

That which has already come is the hook, use it to build interest and attention, to get sympathy and empathy and support, then go to what you hope the future will be like once he has fallen. "I plan on trying, but interdimensional travel isn't in my skill set. I usually leave that to Miranda, Luna, and Dominic. But there are a few things I can do. And until they pay off or don't, I can help you be ready for when we DO get home."

I'm ready right now. Right this second, I could go home and be perfectly happy.

[He had a small clay ocarina that he took from his pocket.
It had obviously been made by a child, but, it was fully functional.]
