001 (Backdated to yesterday, late afternoon)
[The video opens to the familiar sight of the Bay, the device being held by a large bald man in a finely crafted suit. He gazes down at the device, light blue eyes almost seeming to glow in the gloom of the bay, face perfectly neutral.
He continues to stare down at the device in silence, the only sound being the waters of the bay echoing off the stone walls. Finally, just when it seems the recording will only consist of a creepy bald guy staring at the phone, he speaks, his voice deep and calm.]
"Testing."
[Action (Near the Bay and around Genessia)]
He leaves the Bay, comes upon Weiss' hologram, and listens patiently, still showing no signs of emotion. When it's done speaking, he grabs some of the pamphlets and brochures offered and leaves to explore the city. In one gloved hand he carries a black metal briefcase, bearing an interesting symbol in silver.
He'll be exploring the city until well after nightfall, then get a late dinner at wherever's still open and head back to Genessia Commonspace.
((OOC: Cheatcode hint: 47 likes kids and animals, in case you'd like a higher chance of a positive interaction.))

"Not that I'm aware of."
His physical and mental prowess doesn't really count, as it's a result of genetic engineering, and how is he supposed to know that Instinct isn't a normal thing (or at least something everyone is capable of with enough training)?

She drifted to one side, tilting her head a little bit. She certainly seemed to be examining him.
"Do you want some ice cream?"
Right out of left field.
no subject
"I'm not hungry." Even if he was, you don't get a body like this from ice cream. He has to eat healthy.
Wah! I thought I replied ;-;
"Nope! A lot of humans are limited in things they can do. That's why humans have varied skills. So that they can accomplish things together!"
She did pout a little at the not hungry comment. But it didn't seem to bring her mood down that much. "Do you need someone to show you around? I can help a lot with that. I'm good at finding things and places if you're looking for something too."
It 'kay!
"I'm looking around the city, yes." It looks like he won't get rid of her that easily.

"Okay. I'll show you everywhere I know of as best I can and if you think of something you want to see then you should tell me. Then I can show you that thing and then you'll know where it is!"
And... She did just that. Talking in great detail too. She pointed out landmarks and locations, sometimes with a somewhat unique perspective due to her ability to fly. In fact, she pointed out some rather valuable information if he ever needed to do his job here...

Even so, he can't help but take notice of the buildings around in that light. His gaze runs over drain pipes and ledges, walls and other cover, good hiding places and vantage points seemingly made for snipers. Even when he's not on the job, his training dies hard.

"Here." She had gotten him one too if he wanted it, despite him declining earlier. Though declining again wouldn't exactly offend her. It would mean more food for her.
"There are four other cities too." her mouth was kinda full. "All of them look different and attract all sorts of people. I know Fayren the best but I also know Nova City really well because Miss Satsuki works there."
So apparently she had learned SOMEONE'S name.

He politely holds up his free hand to refuse her offer, though.
"Thank you, but no."
He continues to listen while she eats, and keeps from sighing. "And you want to show me those, too." Not a question, not a request, just an assumption from what he's seen so far.

She tilted her head a little bit, taking another bite as she listened. "If you want to see them! Sure! Or at least Fayren. There's lots of dangerous places there so if I show you all the good places you'll know where they are and wont accidentally wander into a dragon's home. They don't like it when you do that."
She reached down to take him by the hand and eagerly drag him toward the gateway leading to Fayren.

He darts his hand away from her gesture, hiding it safely behind his back. No touchy! If she's that insistent, he'll follow her, but... no touching.

"What's wrong, mister? You've been so jumpy for awhile now. You should relax, okay?" There was something calming about her presence, but it was more like a suggestion rather than something oppressive.
no subject
"I don't like being touched." He thought keeping his hand away would make that clear, but apparently not. It's hard enough letting his loved ones touch him; strangers are out of the question.
