001 (Backdated to yesterday, late afternoon)

[The video opens to the familiar sight of the Bay, the device being held by a large bald man in a finely crafted suit. He gazes down at the device, light blue eyes almost seeming to glow in the gloom of the bay, face perfectly neutral.

He continues to stare down at the device in silence, the only sound being the waters of the bay echoing off the stone walls. Finally, just when it seems the recording will only consist of a creepy bald guy staring at the phone, he speaks, his voice deep and calm.]

"Testing."

[Action (Near the Bay and around Genessia)]

He leaves the Bay, comes upon Weiss' hologram, and listens patiently, still showing no signs of emotion. When it's done speaking, he grabs some of the pamphlets and brochures offered and leaves to explore the city. In one gloved hand he carries a black metal briefcase, bearing an interesting symbol in silver.

He'll be exploring the city until well after nightfall, then get a late dinner at wherever's still open and head back to Genessia Commonspace.

To be honest, it's the dogs that catch his eye and hold his interest much more than the man in the middle of them. With a prone human in the middle of the street, though, he begrudgingly approaches him (after checking for traffic) to see if he's alright.

[He doesn't answer at first, instead giving all the dogs around another glance before looking back down at the man.]

[47 is soon greeted by a Japanese teenager with a very calm disposition. There seem to be a large quantity of bookshelves in the background, like you would see in a library.]

There's a hologram of a woman near the entrance to the Bay who explains the basics of this place, along with some helpful brochures. Did you check those out already?

[A little lady is out and about running errands for her guardian. While it is a bit of a walk, it's important for her to get the exercise and fresh air.

She looked like a princess with her fancy-casual outfit and a circlet upon her head. Her long, blonde hair swayed with each step she made, carrying a bag of groceries in both hands as she made the long walk home to Nova City, but stopped when she saw this dashing suited gentleman. Though he looks like one of the drivers for the guardians and deputies, she won't talk to strangers and would instead just observe.]

[He feels her eyes on him quickly, and looks around to find the source. When he spots her, he nods in greeting, making the friendliest expression he can manage (it's... not quite a smile, but he doesn't look nearly as... icy) and raises his free hand for a small wave before extending it slightly, palm up, in a welcoming gesture -- she's free to approach if she wishes. Hey there, kiddo.]

[She looked to the left, then her right. She wasn't sure if he was waving at her, or someone else. It seems apparent it was her, and he does seem friendly enough, so she did cautiously approach. She won't get too close.]

[Mavis can't help but notice the way 47 speaks. Few words, polite, to the point. But it's hardly a bad thing.]

My name is Mavis Vermillion. I'm Fairy Tail's guild master and one of Fayren's Deputy Guardians.

[She also works part time in a book shop but, somehow, she doubts he'd be interested by that.]

Are you Weiss Schnee? [He's seen the hologram by now, and the girl does bear a striking resemblance. If not her, then surely a sister or another family member.]

It would be several hours before 47 would notice that he was being followed. He wouldn't be able to see exactly what. Just the sense that someone or something was there.

Whoever this was must have been a master of stealth to so skillfully evade-

And now there was a tiny green girl floating at about eye level right next to him. Had she always been there? Had he just not noticed? She seemed hard to miss... With eyes that glowed with an inner light and a strange blue eyeball-like thing connected to her ankle by artery like cords she clearly wasn't human.

"Can you see me now? Can you hear me now?" The answer is yes, Koishi. You can stop now.

Gah! What the hell!? It's been a long time since 47's been surprised like that, taking a quick couple of steps away from her, muscles tensing for a fight -- but other than that, his only outward sign of surprise is widened eyes for a split second, as he quickly regains complete control.

He gazes at Koishi for a long moment; just what is this thing supposed to be? Right, there's that 'multiple worlds' thing. Probably also how she just appeared out of nowhere like that.

"What do you want?"

Koishi blinked as he pulled back, drifting up a little in the air and to the side. It was a defensive motion. He had startled her just as much, apparently.

"Oh... I'm sorry Mister. I didn't mean to scare you." That smile was back, bright enough to power an entire city block. "You seemed new so I came over to say hi. My name is Koishi Komeiji. I'm a satori youkai, but I can't read minds anymore so you don't have to be scared of me."
