[Kirika saw Selphie's video, and waited for her back in the shop. Perhaps Selphie could help with her problem better than Aya, and this time it didn't involve bounty or killing. When she walked right in, Kirika lifted her head up and stared her way.]

Selphie?

[She called out to her, in her quiet tone.]

*Done with her video, Selphie gets busy around the shop, helping out here and there, and looking after the flower crowns, sure they'll sell out soon. She looks up when Kirika enters and smiles with a bright wave*

Hi Kirika - how are you?

[She gave a nod.]

I fine, thank you.

[Kirika set her stuff down and pulled the apron out. It was time to work!]

And yourself?

*As for Selphie, she's done all her work for the day now that the advert is done. She leans back against the cash desk and smiles*

I'm good thanks! Just hanging around here, as per usual, waiting for Aya to be done with his deliveries.

Okay.

[That meant the crowd died down, so that was good. Kirika leaned on the counter.]

Um, I was wondering. You know stuff about guys, correct?

[Well, she seemed pretty open and no chill about this.]

[Her advertisement for the flower crowns is just what he would want from Selphie. Adding her own personal flair is very much like her, and would appeal to many audiences. Later on in the evening, Aya surprises her with dinner he cooked himself. Mostly. He followed a recipe and video online for roast chicken with roasted vegetables to make sure everything went smoothly and so they wouldn't get sick. In his opinion, the food wasn't that bad. Maybe a bit more salt, but otherwise good.]

[As they turned in for the night, it isn't until about three hours later that the dreams he had, a simple life with Selphie, turns dark. They cause him to toss harshly a few times in his sleep. For whatever reason, bubbles had been floating around them as they walked in a park, and the bubbles accumulated to the point of becoming too thick to see. He lost sight of Selphie, and when the bubbles burst, Aya found himself in a graveyard. In front of him were his parents' graves, followed by an empty plot, then next to that another grave with Selphie's name engraved on it.]

[But that isn't the part that shook him to his core. It's the fact that the tombstone had 'Selphie Fujimiya' written on it. Aya had the unfortunate urge to look down at his hands, covered in blood, and holding a yellow dress stained in blood.]

["I knew you couldn't resist, Ran," said a voice all too familiar to Aya. With wide, petrified eyes, he looked over his shoulder to confirm. It was Kikyo.]

[It's then that Aya woke up with a jolt, covered in a cold sweat and heart racing. His eyes adjusted to the darkness while his grip on the sheets loosened enough so that he could allow himself to sit up in bed. He cursed softly. He really thought he was over this. A hand runs through damp hair as he felt his heartbeat starting to even out.]

*Selphie was so happy at Aya's reaction to her video - she was glad to feel that she had done his hard work and his shop justice. The dinner was a surprise, and Selphie was exceptionally happy the entire way through. Even going to bed, Selphie was in good and affectionate spirits.

Selphie, feeling loved and feeling safe, fell easily into a warm and peaceful sleep. There could be no way that she'd know about the horrors happening in Aya's mind.

When he managed to sit up, Selphie shifted and awoke, realising suddenly how hot it was in the bed. She blinks in alarm, waking quicker than usual when she sees Aya in such distress*

Aya...

*Gently, being careful not to startle him, Selphie reaches a hand out and rests it on his upper arm*

Aya, what's happened? Are you okay? Aya...?

[He hears Selphie calling him, and feels her gentle hand, but it takes another moment or two before turning to her, placing a hand atop hers to reassure her that he hears her.]

I didn't mean to wake you. [Aya's pretty sure this isn't a dream as he gazes at her features longer than usual.] It's... [Telling her it's nothing would just make Selphie upset for keeping himself closed off, and not trusting her.] It's just a bad dream. I'll be fine.

[Not intending to sleep just yet, Aya moves to lean his back against the headboard, revisiting the images that just played in his head.]

*By the time he seemed to recognise that she was there, Selphie was kneeling on the bed next to him, watching him with deep concern. She frowns further at the mention of the dream - it must be quite something to have him in this state*

Ran...

*It's upsetting to see him like this; her hand gently starts to slip away as he leans back*

Can I get you anything? Some water maybe?

[Flower crowns were always something Haru didn't get, more so since they couldn't be permanent unless they were those fake ones. At best they would only last a few days because you wouldn't be able to feed them to last longer.]

I assume they are actual flowers used, correct?

Well... I... I don't know? I mean, I guess Aya does all that. He sure knows a lot about flowers. So yeah, if someone wanted that, I'm sure he could do it!
