[ Those who have been here for some time can see that Sertoria's at the other end of the videophone, still wearing that peaceful smile that she's very rarely seen without. There's also a twinge of amusement in the old soul's eyes, as if she hasn't expected this probability before. ]

What time is this, the third?

[ That's spoken mainly to herself. ]

Is there anyone still around that remembers this old woman? If so, it is great to be back here once again. However, if there is no one, my name is Sertoria Cani. It is a pleasure to meet you.

I do believe there is quite a lot of things for me to catch up on. The very last thing I remember is offering to make a sandwich for a very interesting young man, which I believe was in November.

[ Those around can see that Sertoria doesn't look any different than she normally would -- she's still dressed in her tunic, sandals, and with her ornate jewelry. For now, she's just content to walk around and getting her bearings together. She's also curious to see what, if anything, has changed recently with the landscape. There's still so much that she has to catch up on, after all. ]

[ It's a bittersweet feeling returning here. She can tell that it's no longer considered a place to call home. The thought's a bit depressing, especially when she remembers how things were before when everyone was here. Still, though, even she can't help but miss those that used to live here previously. They truly treated her like she was not only human, but also family.

Sertoria spends a few moments longer than intended continuing to gaze at what used to be her home before smiling and turning her heel, starting to walk off. Hopefully they'd be all right in their world. ]

Sertoria hadn't even made it out of the bay when something strange happened. Like a bolt of green lightning, something tiny and cute shot out of absolutely nowhere to attach itself to her torso. Tentacles and all.

"HELLO MISS!" You really don't have to shout, Koishi.

But shout she did, continuing to babble happy nonsense and nuzzling her face into Sertoria's neck, her third eye squished up against her cheek. The little satori couldn't possibly be more elated. To the point where a crowbar might just be necessary.

Hopefully Sertoria hadn't forgotten about the clingy spirit-demon.

Well, then! It wasn't every day that she had something like this happen to her as it was such a rare occurrence anyway. A few seconds passed by as she lightly giggled, shaking her head.

"Hello to you, Koishi. I take it you missed me," she lightly teased, a small grin tugging at her lips. Instead of asking her to stop, she decided to appease the spirit demon by wrapping her arm around her form so as to hold her close to her.

"How have you been since we last saw one another?"

"Yeah! I missed you a lot!" Clearly.

She did stop nuzzling at the question to think. But only for a moment. "Mmm... I dunno. I'm still alive and still energized even though everything is up and down all the time. So I'm pretty good I think!" Good a reason as any.

And then the cuddles resumed, Koishi actually threatening to lift Sertoria into the air due to her enthusiasm.

Such was life after all, wasn't it, to have ups and down? Sertoria's smile doesn't fade from her face while she listened to her go on and on. It was actually adorable and helped keep her in lighthearted spirits.

The moment that she felt like the ground was going to be taken from her feet, though, is one that she doesn't try to stop at all. It was her own way of letting Koishi know that she could do as she pleased with the angel.

And what Koishi seemed pleased to do was spin her around a few times before putting her back down again. Certainly not very harmful for a demon.

"Miss. Where are you going? What are you doing? Can we hang out some? Please?" She looked so very hopeful. "Do you want some ice cream?" And all over the place.

Were she anyone else, she probably would have protested to be put down immediately, but the one thing Sertoria was known for was her infinite patience. In fact, the angel started to giggle while still wearing her smile that tugged at her lips.

"In order: I do not know. I thought that I could explore Genessia a bit to see what, if anything, changed. I am not sure what I am going to be doing during my time here. We can certainly hang out, Koishi." A pause, followed by another smile. She didn't need to eat to sustain herself, however who could really pass up on ice cream?

"We can have ice cream, although I do not know if I would be able to pay you back. I do not think I had someone manage the money I made here previously."

[koishi_komeiji]

"Yay! Ice cream makes everything better!" And then Koishi was right back to nuzzling. She would probably stop clinging soon. She just really missed Sertoria, okay?

"I know where to get the best ice cream. Miss Satsuki got me some when I arrived and there were crackle rocks on it." Instantly Koishi turned Sertoria, tugging her eagerly along toward a nearby parked ice cream truck/stand.

"You don't have to pay me back. Miss Satsuki pays me. I have lots of money. So does sis." So it's fine.

It took a moment to get the vendor's attention, but Koishi managed to order two cups of strawberry ice cream covered in white-chocolate dipped pop rocks.

And Koishi was already taking a bite by the time it landed in her hands.

There was a brief pause in Sertoria where she felt genuine surprise. While Koishi wasn't a human, she certainly exhibited human-like qualities to her and that's what made the angel appreciate both her and humanity as a whole for always making her remember the reason she decided to protect humanity in the first place: People like Koishi. A fond smile crossed the angel's lips as she happily followed after Koishi, almost feeling like a weight lifted off of her.

"Thank you very much for this, Koishi."

Sertoria was always known as a plain girl as far as things were concerned. Why did she decide to wear robes and sandals most of the time anyway? So for her, she ordered two scoops of vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles on it.

The angel took a few licks of the ice cream, enjoying how tasty it was. To think she almost forgot the taste of ice cream itself...

She'll definitely cherish this moment for the rest of her life.

[It was Angela's day off and she decided to look around more. She'd seen a fair amount of Genessia City, but she hadn't really ventured to the others all that much. Normally she'd leave her wings off, but considering how useful they'd be while exploring, she decided to take them with her this one time. So while she was randomly wandering about, she happened to come by the mansion. It looked like it hadn't been used in some time, but there was some work put into it at some point. She gazed over to a woman dressed in a tunic and sandals glancing over to it before walking off.]

Is this.... where you live? [She has no reason to visit with her. She just thought it would be nice to meet new people.]

[ It's never a good thing to be lost in one's own thoughts, especially when they can be so troubling to begin with. Sertoria is not a woman who easily displays her true feelings to others so easily, especially knowing how much others have suffered as well. And yet, there was quite a bit of her own emotions rising to the surface even being here.

Her azure eyes glanced over at the one asking her a question, temporarily pulled from her thoughts. As always, her smile's quick to appear on her lips so as to not show how sad she is about what happened to this place. ]

It used to be. There was quite a large number of people who were also living here. [ They took her in and treated her like she was family -- something that she appreciates over anything else for it makes her think that some part of her is still human and not what she usually thinks of herself as. ] It appears that the place has been sold, though. It is quite a shame.

It is all right. [ Is it really, though? ] Such is the nature of time, correct?

[ It may be apparent to Angela that the woman before her was older than she was letting on, especially with how she spoke. ]

I am glad that it has not been torn down at least.

Maybe someone else will take it in? That way it doesn't actually get destroyed..? [She's just... trying to be optimistic.] What about now though? Does that mean you have another place to go to?

I hope so. A lot of work has been put in to it, from what I can recall.

[ A pause as she thinks on her question. Admittedly, she doesn't have anywhere else to go beyond bumming it out somewhere in Genessia like she did before Levi took her in. ]

No, it does not. I am happy to live on the streets, though. [ She doesn't want to impose, after all. ]

[That surprised her a bit. It's true that she just met the woman, but that wasn't any good either..]

What? Seriously? Isn't there some place you can stay? [She can't accept that. Even if it was a shabby place, a home was a home.]

[ Sertoria merely shakes her head in response to her question. She wasn't sure who, if anyone, she knew previously was here. That, and she didn't know if they even remember her. ]

Unfortunately, no, beyond the place where newcomers go. However, I would not want to take up a bed that could be given to someone else.

[ Maybe her selflessness really was a concern. ]

That's silly... Everyone deserves to have a home to come back to every night. [She was silent for a moment.] You know... I'm actually looking for a new place, since my apartment is gone too. Would you like to stay with me?

[Sure she didn't really know the woman that well yet, but she seemed like a nice person. That, and she couldn't imagine making someone sleep in the streets.]

[ The angel is taken back by her offer and she stands there for a few moments before slightly shaking her head. How silly, she thought, to not take her up on the offer. And yet, there's a nagging thought in her head that says that she doesn't deserve such kindness on her. ]

I...

[ Sorry, Angela. It's going to take her a few moments to gather her thoughts. ]

You would not mind...?

[She shook her head to that.]

Not at all. It'll be nice to have company as well.

[ Well, how could she refuse an offer like that? ]

I promise I will not take up that much space. I deeply appreciate your sincerity, miss.

[ She offers her a small bow in respect as well. ]

It's no problem at all. We should probably find a place then.

[ Konoka peered curiously at the video feed. At first glance, the woman didn't appear all that old. Looks could be deceiving though, and though she didn't have enough evidence, it was in the way that the woman carried herself that seemed to hold the truth to her words. ]

Well, you don't look so old to me. Physically at least.

I don't believe we've met, but something about the questions you ask feels a little familiar. Either way, I'm Konoka Konoe. Pleased to meet you.

[ There's a light giggle at the end of that sentence. Sometimes, it's the little things that make her smile and still appreciate humanity for what it was worth. ]
