When the feed clicked in it shows a very excited looking Koishi. Her hair had been pulled partially back and someone had given her hat a much longer ribbon and pinned roses and feathers in it. Her outfit was new too sporting long sleeves with oversized cuffs and a capelet that split into two and trailed down to her knees. This was combined with knee high boots that, by all accounts, her biology shouldn't be allowing her to wear without shenanigans, white gloves, a green skirt with a giant bow and some form of... wand? Even her third eye had a little ribbon tied onto the artery next to it.

Like some sort of... magical girl outfit?

"Hey! Everyone! Look! Look at this! I got a new outfit! I woke up with it and now I have it! Isn't it adorable?" She waved her arms, the wand scattering some glitter and lighting up. "I'm going to go fly around, okay? There will be so many sparkles!"

Oh no... The glitter...

[Action]

Practically all day, every day Koishi could be found floating around Fayren and Genessia alike, waving her wand, poking at people and making a huge mess ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE. It wasn't clear if her costume just came with an unlimited supply of glitter or she was actively re-filling the wand but anyone not paying attention or not being careful might find themselves more sparkly than when they started out that day. Oh no.

Rose is grey, stone-like, and very clearly a gargoyle, but still also clearly Rose with the bright blonde hair, and identical features except that her eyes are red and she's completely nocturnal.

"Super cute!" she chimes over the video phone, voice still darker and more gravely than normal, but at least still Rose.

Koishi stared at rose, blinking several times, tilting her head before again breaking out into a huge smile.

"Miss! You're all grey and red and glowy now! It's a good look for you. I like it!"

[bigbadrose]

A quiet laugh. "Gargoyle. Yeah?" A head tilt and a quiet hum. "I'm worried about it getting worse. Happened once before. My friends who went too far wouldn't be able to change back. But the Doctor saved me then, he'll save me now. I know he will."

"Oh don't worry too much. It probably wont get worse maybe. This kind of thing happens all the time in this world. But I didn't go to nova so I'm still me. I'm already a monster so it's better if I let other people have a chance at being scary. It's a lot of fun!"

[Liora wanders through Fayren, still shaking from her encounter with her fears in Attleton. She's so shaken by her fears that the costume she's wearing doesn't seem to bother her much, if at all. Suddenly, she spots some glitter falling from the sky up ahead, so she crawls cautiously towards it. Could this be a glitter of hope?]

Nope! Just glitter of mild annoyance. The glitter suddenly shifts, several silly sounds accompanying a rain of sparkles from up above, covering the little gold dragon in shiny pieces. It was accompanied by a giggle. It might take Liroa a moment or two to notice the youkai floating above her.

Liora holds out her talons to catch a few of the sparkles as they fall on and around her. She then looks up to see someone flying above her.

"Is this...are these your sparkles?"

"Yes!" Koishi waved the wand again. "I woke up and I had a pretty outfit and a glitter wand!" She was all smiles, shaking her wand again and sprinkling more glitter on Liora.

Luke would've liked not to have changed much, despite it being Halloween-time. In the morning, things hadn't seemed so different--until he couldn't touch the door. Or the keys to his flat. Or his coat, or his satchel, his notebook, or Suna--it wasn't till he tried to jostle the door in frustration that he realized he could go through it.

Was he transparent? That was preposterous. He's not transparent.

Off to the tea shop, and the same problem. No door, no keys. Can't manage the kettle, the tins, the china--nothing. It's just chance that he manages to look up and see the glitter collecting outside the still-closed and still-locked door of the shop.

He would open the door to query, but as he can't manage he just appears behind the glass, staring. He's white as a ghost, the epitome of irony, and swallows. Turning his head to look upwards, he does not realize that he's half-stuck his head through the glass door.

"...Koishi?"

And then there was more glitter. And giggling. But mostly glitter. It was being sprinkled down and was drifting down right through his face.

"Luuuuke!" Koishi would fade into view, floating upside-down. She was dressed in an adorable and frilly magical girl outfit with a light-up plastic wand that was the source of the glitter.

"You're all white and see-through. But you're not distressed so you clearly didn't die. Did you go to Nova? Silly!" She was laughing so much. Clearly this was the most amusing thing in the world to her. Clearly.

Luke looks up to the glitter, and then back to Koishi, the look of concern on his face only growing.

"Koishi!"

He puts one hand out (and inadvertently through the door) to attempt to catch the glitter in his palm; it too flutters to the ground. Chewing on his lower lip before looking up at her, Luke shakes his head. "Not distressed?! Koishi, I've--I can't--look!"

Deliberate this time, the apprentice sticks an arm through the door, then another, then his entire torso and then is finally through it. Remember where she said he wasn't distressed? Well...he certainly seems upset.

"I'm--I'm see-through!"

[ There's a Japanese black bear on the screen. He's holding a sketchbook full of phrases and words. He uses it when talking is too difficult. He displays a page.]

Koishi just gasped. "Oh! A bear! A super duper cute bear!" If there wasn't a screen between them she'd absolutely be petting him right now.

Koishi... probably didn't recognize him. "You're from the outside too? You can write? I've never seen a bear that can write before!"

[ He's not sure if he could handle petting, but video isn't making him panic. This is an improvement. The sketchbook is the same one he used last time he saw her.]

[Unlike Koishi, Den isn't happy with his costume for today. You can't blame him for wearing a trash can costume isn't the best one he can ever get for this Halloween. However, it does have a lot of disadvantages than looking stupid. In fact, walking around with gives him a lot of difficulties as he finds himself rolling through the sloped streets of Fayren as he, unfortunately, heads over to the yokai.]

Koishi looked up, blinking and zipping up in the nick of time, giving the trashcan a little kick with her boot; grazing it as it passed her. "Woah!"

She hovered there for a second before flying after it, a number of Fayren's security dolls rushing down and attempting to stop him with their magical string. Eventually they did stop him but not before he had rolled a good distance further. Fortunately, no one was hurt, the dolls unwrapping him quickly once he was at least somewhat stable.

The little youkai drifted forward, tilting her head... And reached out, sprinkling some glitter on his head. Clearly, this was her idea of improving the situation.

[Eventually, he quickly gasps in shock once the yokai and the dolls stopped him from rolling any further, allowing him to stand up once more. But, just a look of his face was enough to give him nightmares about it.]

Satsuki had been having a long, annoying day. She was seated and almost done wrapping up her work in her office when she noticed a trail of glitter appear from the open window to her desk. The grip on her pen tightens to the point of snapping it as her brow twitches.

"... Koishi."

As for Satsuki herself, she's appeared different herself as there is a set of brown grizzly ears atop her head, and an unseen tail beneath her skirt. Whatever curse she's suffered has had an effect on her ability to keep her cool. Don't make her angry, Koishi. You won't like her when she's angry.

But it was too late. There was already glitter settling on her shoulders and head coupled with a lot of giggling. It was at least somewhat fortunate that Koishi's presence cut the severity of Satsuki's anger. Though it didn't stop it from being extremely annoying.

"Hello Miss Satsuki." Koishi faded into view, mostly inverted and smiling hugely. "I like you're fuzzy ears. They're really cute, though a fox or crow might have suited your cunning better."

As if Satsuki had a choice.

Gee whiz it's been four days already?

Well.. That's good that Koishi wouldn't suffer the effects of Satsuki's wrath at least. That's.. Wonderful. Perfect.

Satsuki didn't want to talk about her appearance and the smile didn't improve her mood at all. It was a completely new feeling of actually being ashamed of how she looks she was experiencing and, frankly, it's difficult to deal with.

At least she was able to still work, though, so there was that. If she could, she'd work forever.

"What do you wan-" Wait. Ok, actually what was she looking at?? "What are you wearing?"

Well. That's hard not to spot coming. She's got too much dignity to run from a sparkling, though. That and perhaps too much confidence that said dignity is sufficiently palpable to dissuade even someone who knows nothing about her.

"Is that supposed to be your costume? Not exactly terrifying, is it?"

Unfortunately, it wont.

Koishi blinked when she was addressed, looking around before focusing on the blonde again. She looked genuinely surprised as her nature generally cloaked her from perception.

Either way she looked extra excited now that she had been noticed.

"Hello Miss!" Kinda loud. "You saw me! That doesn't happen often except for little kids and people with big imaginations or people who are just really attentive and observant." She was absolutely beaming, waving her wand around and getting glitter everywhere.

"Besides, I'm normally very scary-" no, you're not. "-so I don't mind being extra cute for halloween!"

And then, with a flourish, Evangeline was covered with glitter. Oh no.

[ Why. First the costumes, now the glitter.

Glitter which appears to be troublesome to brush off.

Of course, once she appears to get most of it off her silly costume, Koishi just appears with more.

There is the tiniest, smallest frown on Dorothy's face. ]

It was about this time that Koishi appeared floating a bit above Dorothy. She was giggling and waving the offending wand which lit up and started playing some low-quality, girly sound effects.

"I got you, Miss! Now you're shiny!"

[ Combined with her outfit, and now the light and sound show - Dorothy was starting to resemble a magical girl herself.

She wasn't really amused by this. She turned, slowly, under the lights. ]
