[For those who hadn't seen Rose yet: she looks like a traditional gargoyle: stone, grey skin, bat-like wings, red glowing eyes, but for blonde hair, and her ability to speak in her mostly usual voice.]
They say you're not to keep wolves as pets.
I mean, first off, yeah, it ain't right to coop the wolf up inside, for sure, who wouldn't get stir crazy like that, yeah? But even beyond that, they'll never be domestic. You never know when one might turn around and bite ya, no matter how much you try to feed it.
I was always more a cat person myself. Had one as a kid. Even got a flap in the door on the Powell Estates so she could come and go as she pleased. I know what it's like to need to wander.
I didn't get a new one when she died. Not 'cause it hurt too much, I don't think that should ever make you stop from making new friends, [A VERY STERN LOOK AT THE CAMERA. Brought to you with all the subtlty of engraving it on a rock and throwing it at the Doctor's face.] but 'cause I was fourteen, and ran away at sixteen, and then when I came back I had to work off debts, but basically, I didn't intend ta stick around there very long, or even as long as I did.
[Pouts a cheek to the side, which looks hilarious coming from a gargoyle.] Fer awhile, I thought... outliving your friends, because of a really long life, must be like that. You never forget or stop loving your pets, and how close or important they are to you is just on you and them and whatever yer relationship together. Some people wouldn't let themselves get that close to pets, knowing they're gonna die sooner 'n not, but [Another stern look at the camera. SO SUBTLE ROSE.] I know my friends enough to expect better than that.
[Glances off sideways.] Somewhere along the way I started thinking of myself like a pet dog. I forgot that wolves can make humans or even domestic animals their pack mates, but you still mustn't think of 'em as tamed. It does 'em a disservice, but they can also bite even friendly hands. Never docile, are wolves, yeah?
[Sighs and facepalms. Locking this part to those in the know, and 10 & Sarah Jane (even though they wouldn't know).] That's a lot of words to say I'm sorry. And bein' cooped up is no excuse. I'll try to do as well as my immortal friends from now on.
Koishi, I've got a hat for you, you'll have to add the glitter yourself though, yeah? Like visual pop-rocks on top. [Tongue out the side, despite being literally stoney.]
[Part B: Action In Genessia at night, Rose is playing action superheroine, flying around and divebombing monsters as need to rescue anyone who looks like they could use the help, though she, like anyone who knows the 10th Doctor or experienced his brief bit of bounty hunting; pulls her punches and steadfast refuses to eliminate any monsters in full.]
[During the daytime, the Ponds' house will have discovered a new rooftop ornament, as Rose tries to keep away ghosts and whatever else, and protect it.]
[At evening, she'll try again to talk to Amy and/or Rory if they'll let her. But she can only move at night.]
[In Fayren at night: she laughs, and acts as a fountain.]
Reverse Jesus!!! Turn wine into water!!
[Where's Ted to get this joke?]
[At the Attleton University, whether or not 12 is there, Rose knocks at night -- being unable to make classes during the day of course.]
Little pig, little pig, let me come in!
[Feel free to wtf in person, though it's not filmed.]
[Action C: Choose Your Own Adventure!]

[Action C: Choose Your Own Adventure!]

[Action]
The moment Rose woke up and began to move she was hugged. A lot. with tentacles.
"Hello Miss Roses! I got your message but my head was crack-tilted under a bridge so I couldn't say anything. But I'm here now and I found my head again so I'm okay!"
Oh my goodness she was so happy.
[Action]
"Hi! -- Wait. What do you mean you crack-tilted under a bridge?"
no subject
She let go after a moment, waving her wand with a flourish and dusting rose with glitter... more glitter, actually. Turns out Koishi had covered her in the stuff while she couldn't move.
"I also have something for you! Sis told me it was okay so I brought it!" Koishi pointed to a box she had set on the roof a ways away.
no subject
That's okay, Rose likes glitter.
But she blinks at the box and tilts her head sideways. "Oh right, yeah! I got yer uh..." Rose fumbles around for her backpack, but finally after spreading her wings remembers where it got tucked on the roof and pulls out a pink beret with brim. "I had one just like this when I was a kid. Lost it in New New -- fiften more of those -- New York, but I though you might like it. And you can glitter it up, yeah?"
no subject
It didn't stay on for long though, Koishi's eyes lighting up- literally- at the new hat. "Oh my goodness! It's so cute!" And on it went. Koishi's existing hat went right onto Rose's head.
"Now my head is pink! Like sis!" It was cute too.
"And your box too..." Koishi zipped over to it, picking it up gingerly and carrying it over to Rose. "This is for you!"
Was... There something moving inside?

It was ridiculous. He shoudln't be so afraid. It didn't feel right. And she'd changed, hadn't she? Or wanted to. Or said she wanted to. Which wasn't quite the same thing. But whatever it was, whatever the truth was, whether she was even really here, he needed to get there before anything unfortunate happened.
Rounding a corner he looked around for Rose. There was no sight of her until he remembered just what he was looking for and grinned a little at the statuesque form standing outside. Before he could even raise his voice to call out to her, it was aleady too late.

"Oh look, it's the pink and gold one. Time Vortex girl, blah blah blah. We should let her in, don't you think dear? If she's jealous of your little pet wife, I can't imagine how jealous she'd be of me!" Her voice took on a little whine. "Can I play with her, Doctor? Please? I got to play with Martha and Jack and Ace and Nyssa and however else many you had. It's not fun if I don't get to play with them."
no subject
"Blood drive!" Rose all but glomped him in a stone hug, but carefully handed over her bag. "I gotta be careful handling it. Not sure if I turn things to water tryin' ta drink 'em or otherwise."
no subject
"You, no. No playing. We've talked about this. Living creatures are friends not toys." Or occasionally meals but he's not that blindingly stupid to say such a thing. "You, loosen up a bit. I'm fond of my ribs being unbroken."
It was fine. Just fine. Nothing bad happening here. Just a conversation. A meeting between two people. Missy needed exposure to people. Who also were attached to him. It was good. It was progress.

[ It's muttered as he turns his own video on, shaking his head. Insert one foot for sure. ]
That... Is oddly specific. This wolf need a good knock in the head to put sense into them?

[ Aerik laughs. Never let it be said he can't roll with the punches. ]
Didn't realize you were the wolf, though. Sounded a lot like you were talking about someone else. In which case, don't be so hard-- [ A grin. ] on yourself. Wolves do what they want to do. That's the charm of 'em.
no subject
Well, we wolves gotta try anyway, yeah?
uhg. sorry this is so late... the last week has been rough
I 100000% hear that and same!!!

And then there are those people who say they can't handle or even stomach a pet, and end up with a house full.

Re: [Video]
I'm not sure how that would work. It would be nearly like a child raising a child.

[She smirked a little.]
All travel and adventures, until someone forgets to refill the milk jug and put the lunch meats back in the ice box.

Sorry I couldn't answer sooner, had to help a mermaid into the water. Somehow I'm not all that surprised, although, for the record, it wasn't me who called you lot pets.
[That was aaaall you, Rose. ...he pauses a moment, looking a little closer at the screen.]
...meanwhile... you doing all right?
[She spreads her wings and turns around in a circle to show off.]
My hoodie is ruined, but I still look cute, yeah?
[Tongue in cheek grin.]
