[For those who hadn't seen Rose yet: she looks like a traditional gargoyle: stone, grey skin, bat-like wings, red glowing eyes, but for blonde hair, and her ability to speak in her mostly usual voice.]

They say you're not to keep wolves as pets.

I mean, first off, yeah, it ain't right to coop the wolf up inside, for sure, who wouldn't get stir crazy like that, yeah? But even beyond that, they'll never be domestic. You never know when one might turn around and bite ya, no matter how much you try to feed it.

I was always more a cat person myself. Had one as a kid. Even got a flap in the door on the Powell Estates so she could come and go as she pleased. I know what it's like to need to wander.

I didn't get a new one when she died. Not 'cause it hurt too much, I don't think that should ever make you stop from making new friends, [A VERY STERN LOOK AT THE CAMERA. Brought to you with all the subtlty of engraving it on a rock and throwing it at the Doctor's face.] but 'cause I was fourteen, and ran away at sixteen, and then when I came back I had to work off debts, but basically, I didn't intend ta stick around there very long, or even as long as I did.

[Pouts a cheek to the side, which looks hilarious coming from a gargoyle.] Fer awhile, I thought... outliving your friends, because of a really long life, must be like that. You never forget or stop loving your pets, and how close or important they are to you is just on you and them and whatever yer relationship together. Some people wouldn't let themselves get that close to pets, knowing they're gonna die sooner 'n not, but [Another stern look at the camera. SO SUBTLE ROSE.] I know my friends enough to expect better than that.

[Glances off sideways.] Somewhere along the way I started thinking of myself like a pet dog. I forgot that wolves can make humans or even domestic animals their pack mates, but you still mustn't think of 'em as tamed. It does 'em a disservice, but they can also bite even friendly hands. Never docile, are wolves, yeah?

[Sighs and facepalms. Locking this part to those in the know, and 10 & Sarah Jane (even though they wouldn't know).] That's a lot of words to say I'm sorry. And bein' cooped up is no excuse. I'll try to do as well as my immortal friends from now on.

Koishi, I've got a hat for you, you'll have to add the glitter yourself though, yeah? Like visual pop-rocks on top. [Tongue out the side, despite being literally stoney.]

[Part B: Action In Genessia at night, Rose is playing action superheroine, flying around and divebombing monsters as need to rescue anyone who looks like they could use the help, though she, like anyone who knows the 10th Doctor or experienced his brief bit of bounty hunting; pulls her punches and steadfast refuses to eliminate any monsters in full.]

[During the daytime, the Ponds' house will have discovered a new rooftop ornament, as Rose tries to keep away ghosts and whatever else, and protect it.]

[At evening, she'll try again to talk to Amy and/or Rory if they'll let her. But she can only move at night.]

[In Fayren at night: she laughs, and acts as a fountain.]

[At the Attleton University, whether or not 12 is there, Rose knocks at night -- being unable to make classes during the day of course.]

[Laughs again and nods.] Yeah, it is! But that's not always so bad either.

[She smirked a little.]

All travel and adventures, until someone forgets to refill the milk jug and put the lunch meats back in the ice box.

[Laughs and then tries to affect a Northern accent.] And then 'e's all, "O' all the creatures, in all the galaxies o' the universe, why does it got to come from a cow?" And I'm like, "I'm not drinkin' space udder milk!" That is where I draw the line! I'll eat grey gloop, and slushies that taste like turkey 'n' gravy, an' basic'ly anythin' else you put in front o' me, 'cuz I love me Mum, bless her, but she's a terrible cook, but I draw the line at space alien species' milk in my mornin' tea or cereal. Right out.

On that I'm totally with Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You ever read that? Weiss' hologram here, I dunno if you got a chance to see it, but it used ta just be a big sign that said, "Don't Panic!" which I thought was pretty funny actually!

[Aw look at her and Sarah Jane, actually getting along and not wasting it fighting over the Doctor this time.]

Yes! oh, but a bit of chocolate'll convince him. Or well, it did. It still should, even he can't say no to chocolate milk, bovine or, as you said, space udder.

[And that does make her giggle a bit, it's just such a ridiculous word but so fitting.]

No I haven't, but I will. Seems a lot I need to catch up on. Hmm, the hologram was welcoming but the sign adds a touch of...class.

[Rose can keep this Doctor. She's got hers still running about back home. Somewhere.]

Chocolate and banana splits. [Nods.] Some things never change. Although Amy says he likes fish fingers and custard now... [Wrinkles her nose.] I think that's more to humor her though.

[Giggles.] I think Weiss worried it did the opposite. Since it mostly seemed to induce a lot o' panic.

He drank ginger beer, can't possibly be anything worse then that. But...that comes close, I suppose?

[Fish fingers and custard? Absurd.]

Perhaps it should say panic? Then everyone will question why they should and not do it. Best way to get someone, I've found.

[Grins.] Tell ya what then, you should try puttin' it up for a few weeks, just to see how many people do just that. [Laughs and shakes her head.] I'd probably be one of 'em, if I'd arrived and first seen that.

Can't stand the stuff. Tastes like too many things in one.

[She's wrinkled her nose just at the thought.]

Not without a camera there to catch it all. People'll go, 'Oh no I didn't panic at all!'.

That's what makes it exciting!!

You must'a really hated a lot of the future space foods, huh?

[Another laugh.] All right, candid camera, yeah?

Oh that's different. I usually don't ask what that is. Half the time I probably wouldn't eat it if I knew what it was. Or..well what it will be.

[She laughs a bit.]

Oh, I haven't heard that in a bit.

I never ask. Not even for historical foods. Eh, double for them.

Ah really? Candid Camera makes a comeback in the 90s. America's Funniest Home Videos sort of started a weird genre. And then everyone started getting video cameras on their phones -- Mobile phones. Remind me to show you mine when this is all over. The Doctor upgraded it so I could call my Mom from any point we were travelin' and she'd be less likely to slap him the next time she saw him, and then my Dad upgraded it too for his universe.

Mobile phones sounds like something The Doctor had his hands in.

[She tries to hold back a giggle, ends up snorting and then just gives up and laughs.]

Y-your mum, slapped him??!

Nah! Normal human development! My Dad basically made it really big marketing 'em in his universe!

Although I heard rumors, they got the idea from Star Trek of all things. [Giggles!]

[And then about the Doctor getting slapped....] Yup... [Pops the p!] We got back from our first trip a year late, and she thought he was like some pervert from the internet I met. She's grown to like him a lot more! Especially since, well one, he took me back to my Dad's death so I could hold his hand and he wouldn't die alone, and then like two, saved the Earth and stuff, but uh, she cares less about that -- [More laughs and shakes her head.] More pleased that -- sooooo did I explain to ya about my Dad, Peter Tyler, being from another Universe where the cybermen got made? Even though --

[She bites her cheek, for a moment, the TimeLords called him back, and then they all died, and that was why he didn't go back for Sarah Jane but...]

[She just shakes her head.] The Universes are normally sealed separate because -- [TimeWar, TimeLords dead, TimeLords can't enforce the laws and so on and so forth--] Rassilon? Mostly??? Ummmm... But the cyberman followed daleks through to our -- your universe, and Pete, my Dad, when Jackie -- that's my Mum, of his universe got turned into a cyberwoman and so he, Peter, took over Torchwood of his universe to stop them. So he and Mickey, my ex-boyfriend who'd stayed in that universe to help his Grandmum, followed the cyberman who followed daleks.

[WHEWWWWWW...] Really long complicated story short; the Doctor helped my Mum and Dad get back together even though yanno, deaths, and different universes, and then we were all supposed to go live in Pete's Universe where he made it big as an inventor before the Torchwood thing, only I kept runnin' away from home to be with the Doctor again.

So.... he grew on my Mum. Even though I kept runnin' away. She knew I'm safer with him than anywhere else in the universe. 'Specially since I met him when he saved my life at my job. But yeah, she slapped him that first year we got back late. She thought Mickey might'a even murdered me or something worse though. She was crazy mad. And when I ran away again more recently, she bullied Micks into comin' after me even though she had Tony, my new baby brother to think about, and gave daleks hell for... Well, just bein' there really.

The Doctor says between a werewolf and my Mum? My Mum would win, hands down. [Laughs.] And I know that's includin' him all werewolf-y now. She likes this -- err, the current tie-Doctor face better, Fluffy. The first one she met was the one she slapped. But when he was sick from regenerating, she helped me look after him and stuff. That was Tie-Doctor. But if he so much as growled at her, she'd probably choke him. [Another laugh.]

I used ta think the best parts of me were from my Dad, but the fearlessness and will-fight attitude? That's all my Mum. Used to give me hell back in school, but it came in pretty handy travelin' the universe, yeah?

[Sarah rubs her head. Rassilon she knew, from that strange adventure. But eh'd been dead then. Did that change? Well, Timelords could change faces so sleeping instead of being rightfully dead. Well made sense.

Everything else jumbled a little and she held her hand up.]

And this is all things in the future, correct. A future that...sounds like I'm not in. And if I am, I don't want to know. I like surprises, right? But at east your mum got someone with her. I never had to worry about that, lived with my aunt but that's neither hither or tither.

[She rolled her eyes at herself on that. Really spent too much time with Harry.]

["You are!" Rose opens her mouth to say and stops short.]

So you weren't really that much older than me than when you ran away with the Doctor.
