Welcome to After Life. The entrance of the Nova City nightclub has the additional illumination courtesy of a purple neon bat to welcome the party goers, which that little bat seems more inviting than the almost ominous fog coming out of the front doors. Just beyond the door are a variety of glowsticks, should one feel so inclined to equip themselves with them for the night. The varying colored glass tables are trimmed with fake cobwebs with little spider lights illuminating from beneath it while at each table's end has a jack-o'-lantern of different carvings with color changing LED lights inside. The club's colored strobe lighting reflects off of the club's crystalline walls to help lend to the atmosphere in an almost eerie manner, even adding additional color to the fog hovering over the floor.


As the party begins, Gale makes a special introduction to the ladies who helped make the party possible- Yang Xiao Long, Ayame Sasaki, Gwen Stacy and Mikaela Banes. He wouldn't let the party go on without the much deserved recognition for them.

Food and Refreshments

The bar area has a variety of different foods and snacks for people to enjoy. Brownies, cupcakes and truffles from local confectionaries and other, less sugary options like jalapeno poppers, mummy hot dogs, garlic bread snakes, deviled egg spiders, salsa and dipping sauces with bat chips, dragonfly sushi and spooky fruit monsters are laid throughout the table. At the far end of the table is a little animatronic black cat with glowing green eyes.

Looking for something a little heavier than just snacks to eat, in case you missed lunch? Available to you on another nearby table are shaped pasta with varying sauce options, monster burgers, four different bento boxes, and snake shaped calzones each labeled with different pizza toppings for the stuffing. Yes. A few have pineapple in them. Please do not start a war in Gale's club.

There are various labeled cauldrons of non-alcoholic drinks such as water, punch and soda are on the table while other available are drinks such as mixed soda and punch floats and milkshake shots are there. All of the glasses on the table all have googly eyes attached to them. Also on this table is Gale's Cubone, wearing a tiny vampire cape and patrolling around the cauldrons. Don't even think about trying something funny or trying to spike the drinks, because Cubone will smack the culprit's hand with his bone and start wailing to lure the host over. Just don't even do it unless you want thrown out.

Bar Area

Need a beverage of the alcoholic variety? You'll want to visit the local alchemist over here. Overhead of the bar where the drink glasses hang are little bat lights that occasionally flicker and the cobwebs are lined around the edges of the circular bar counter. A pumpkin with the carving of a butterfly sits on the counter top with a flickering purple light within it. Drinks from the bar will be served in beaker and vial glasses.

Dance Floor and Stage

That stage up there sure looks inviting, as if it's just waiting to have one of its musical guests come on stage and steal the show for a short time. In fact, it's very much encouraged to do just that. While the stage is without a DJ or other performer, a preset playlist of the club's usual music as well as a list of Halloween music will cycle through- just be ready for the Monster Mash to play several times during the night. A skeleton is set up near the speakers, and it seems to 'dance' in time with the music. Up above the stage is a web with an animatronic spider that comes down from its web occasionally with flickering red eyes.

If you look closely through the thin veil of fog on the floor, you may notice reflective decals of monstrous footprints leading to the dance floor, as if trying to hint and lead the guests out to get their dance on. But party goers beware, there may be an impromptu dance to Thriller at some point in the night, and your host may judge every single one of you if you don't get in on it.

VIP Room

The VIP Room is a little less rowdy than the main area of the club, and is meant for a more chill atmosphere compared to the rest of the party. The room has its own stage for anyone to take over separate of the main room, but beware, this stage may have its own different kind of horror: Karaoke.

The tables here also have cobweb and spider lights around them and the lights in the room are a little dimmer, to accommodate the rotating bulb that casts shadow creatures on the walls of the room. You may want to come here if you want to eat an actual meal in peace without all the buzz from the bar area.

Employee Lounge

VIP Room not calm enough? Asking Gale or another After Life employee will grant you access to the employee lounge so you can have a little rest on the couches. The only drinks readily available in here is water over on the counter. The noise from the main area is completely nullified in this room. The party goes on all night, don't be afraid to take a breather.



Guests under 16 will receive a small bag of candy for attending, while guests 16 and older will receive some drink coupons to use at any of the three Gale Force club locations.

I. Food/Bar

[Demyx had complained, grumbled and whined a little, but he agreed to wear a costume to the party and he even got the one that Larxene told him to get. He arrived with her, dressed as Poseidon in some sparkly blue shorts, fake silver ornate cuffs on his wrists, and some kind of necklace around his neck that matched the same pattern. In his hand, naturally, is a trident. Despite whatever Larxene had said there definitely is not much fat on his body, and he's a lot muscular than one might think, especially in his arms and shoulders.

He doesn't really mind, but he is rather exposed without his Organization jacket. Food and drinks are a good distraction, especially something with a good dose of alcohol and sugar, which is right up his alley.]

II. VIP Room

[By the time he makes it here, he's fairly buzzed and he can be convinced to sing a song. Demyx is musically inclined, his voice perfectly in pitch and although he lacks confidence, his voice is fairly clear. He's drawing on memorable experiences from early in his life. Off the stage, he's blushing lightly, a little embarrassed.]

III. Dance Floor

[This is where he's most at home, moving to the rhythm and flitting about with anyone who wants to dance with him. He looks pretty comfortable in his own skin, even though he's half naked.]

[The VIP room is where she sees him for the first time since the party started. Her cheeks were flushed, and she was on her third glass of straight cognac. There was a smile on Arelen's face as Demyx finished his song, with her probably cheering the loudest. She finished off her drink and grabbed the next one (she had ordered another before sitting), and sauntered up to him.]

Demyx that was amazing! Why didn't you tell me you could sing?!

[At this point, even she couldn't tell if the blush she had was from the alcohol, or the fact that she sincerely thought he was really REALLY good.]

[He laughs a little and shrugs.]

I can't, not really. I don't sing much, mostly it's just the sitar.

I'm not that good!

Don't kid yourself. Your voice was perfect!

[Is she wobbling? She's wobbling. She's also all smiles and taking in the view of the costume she really didn't think he'd wear.

Okay, this time the blush is definitely from her own emotions- did alcohol always enhance emotions? She really wouldn't know... She never had more than a glass of wine with dinner before she was a nobody.

Speaking of, she sipped her drink.]

[He laughs again over the sound of music starting up for the next singer. He leans in so he can speak into her ear.]

Yeah, it's pretty fun. What's not to like about it?

III.

[Yang isn't on the dance floor, but that doesn't mean she can't watch and appreciate. And if she knew Larxene was responsible for that Poseidon costume, she'd be pumping her hand in thanks.]

[She folds her hands behind her head, relaxing against the wall. Dude's got some pretty good moves and a sense of rhythm. Too bad she didn't send the picture of that costume to Mercury, he might have considered-- Okay, no, he wouldn't. But who knows, he might surprise her?]

[If he catches her staring, she doesn't even pretend she was doing otherwise. Instead she just smiles and gives a lazy two-fingered wave of her hand. No no, don't stop on her account~]

[If there's one thing Demyx likes doing and doesn't get to often, it's dancing. Even though he's more familiar with the kind of dancing that comes from performing, he's picked up on what others are doing easily and adapted. He looks like he fits right in, at home on the dance floor.

He's surprised he's being watched, honestly, but it doesn't bother him, if anything he smiles at Yang and returns the two fingered wave as he rolls his core as part of his moves.

He changes tactics, and curls his fingers, beckoning her to join him if she wants. Could be really fun.]

[Aaaaand she's been called out. She arches her eyebrows at him, giving an exaggerated glance to the left and right, before pointing at herself in mock surprise.]

[Well. Sure. Why not! She means to meet everyone at the party anyway, and she definitely doesn't know this guy. They can talk while they groove.]

[But if Yang's going to dance, she's going to make sure she's got moves no one is going to forget. She strides forward, her steps long and quick, with one artful spin. As she comes around to face Demyx, her long blonde hair flickers like a candle, burning warm.]

[No, literally. Her semblance makes her hair blaze. And she's sauntering her way straight toward him.]

[Is it that weird to invite someone to dance? He doesn't think so. He spins as she comes closer and he smiles brightly, when she gets close enough to yell at over the music.]

VIP Room

[Rapunzel was currently clapping a lot after the performance. She was sort of being loud about it also, a wide smile on her face. It was something she could appreciate at least until she reminded about her costumes and her thoughts of trying to be in character really were not going all that well.

She stopped the clapping and instead coughed slightly, keeping her shoes off for the time being while her feet were still sore.]

Good job, fantastic.

[She's rewarded with a bright smile, a tilt of his head and a little bow.]

Haha, you caught me. I'm usually playing the music, but I can't say I've never performed before.

Food/Bar

[Kay is using his android body for the party because it was easier to find a proper costume for someone human sized than for a 2m. tall robot. He's dressed as a prince charming, sword and all. He walks over Demyx,a bat -shaped truffle in his hands, looking at the young man up and down.]

I must say, that disguise is a big change form your usual attire, Demyx.

[And Kay has no idea what is he supposed to be dressed as.]

[He leans in to raise his voice out of habit, since most people can't hear over the noise of the party.]

Yeah, I know! Larxene said I should dress like Poseidon!

[He brandishes the trident playfully with a grin.]

God of the sea, you know? Suits me!

[He summons a watery music note.]

Ah, right, god of the sea. [He has no idea of mythology, Demyx could have called Poseidon God of the Hotdogs and Kay would have gone with it.] Just be careful not to catch a cold.

[Mom Mode activated.]

Yes, that does suit you. Are you having fun?

[He giggles a little and dissipates the musical note.]

Yes, it's really fun! There's music and different foods and these really good sweet drinks, and shots, but I don't like those, they're kinda strong...

II, off stage

[Zexion had, of course, fairly quickly had his fill of the noise of the party and sought out a quieter space, which had led to the VIP room. He hadn't had anything to drink, since it wasn't like he needed food or drink anyway, so he's totally sober when he finds Demyx there. His eyes widen at Demyx's costume. Despite himself, his eyes survey the situation in full before resting on Demyx's face where it was safer.]

What are you wearing?

[He grins, he's a little beyond buzzed, so at the moment he's very relaxed.]

Hey Zexy!

[He giggles a bit.]

Larx told me to wear it. I'm Poseidon! God of the Sea! Cool huh?

[He brandishes his trident.]

[Really, Demyx?]

Since when do you do what Larxene tells you to do?

[He points, yep, it's probably weird.]

Since I live with her, and you don't know what she'd do to me. She'll bug me til I do it anyway!

[What's with the eyes and the spider and she looks kind of creepy. Demyx blinks at her request and looks down at himself.]

I'm not exactly wearing a whole lot.

Give me one of your bracelets! I'll let you have a googly eye if you want.

[ She's got a whole bag of spares. ]

[Opportunity lost, Alice, he's drunk enough he'd have given her his shorts. He smiles and unclips the cuff, holding it out to her.]

Kay, sure. I don't need the eye...it's weird.
