Welcome to After Life. The entrance of the Nova City nightclub has the additional illumination courtesy of a purple neon bat to welcome the party goers, which that little bat seems more inviting than the almost ominous fog coming out of the front doors. Just beyond the door are a variety of glowsticks, should one feel so inclined to equip themselves with them for the night. The varying colored glass tables are trimmed with fake cobwebs with little spider lights illuminating from beneath it while at each table's end has a jack-o'-lantern of different carvings with color changing LED lights inside. The club's colored strobe lighting reflects off of the club's crystalline walls to help lend to the atmosphere in an almost eerie manner, even adding additional color to the fog hovering over the floor.


As the party begins, Gale makes a special introduction to the ladies who helped make the party possible- Yang Xiao Long, Ayame Sasaki, Gwen Stacy and Mikaela Banes. He wouldn't let the party go on without the much deserved recognition for them.

Food and Refreshments

The bar area has a variety of different foods and snacks for people to enjoy. Brownies, cupcakes and truffles from local confectionaries and other, less sugary options like jalapeno poppers, mummy hot dogs, garlic bread snakes, deviled egg spiders, salsa and dipping sauces with bat chips, dragonfly sushi and spooky fruit monsters are laid throughout the table. At the far end of the table is a little animatronic black cat with glowing green eyes.

Looking for something a little heavier than just snacks to eat, in case you missed lunch? Available to you on another nearby table are shaped pasta with varying sauce options, monster burgers, four different bento boxes, and snake shaped calzones each labeled with different pizza toppings for the stuffing. Yes. A few have pineapple in them. Please do not start a war in Gale's club.

There are various labeled cauldrons of non-alcoholic drinks such as water, punch and soda are on the table while other available are drinks such as mixed soda and punch floats and milkshake shots are there. All of the glasses on the table all have googly eyes attached to them. Also on this table is Gale's Cubone, wearing a tiny vampire cape and patrolling around the cauldrons. Don't even think about trying something funny or trying to spike the drinks, because Cubone will smack the culprit's hand with his bone and start wailing to lure the host over. Just don't even do it unless you want thrown out.

Bar Area

Need a beverage of the alcoholic variety? You'll want to visit the local alchemist over here. Overhead of the bar where the drink glasses hang are little bat lights that occasionally flicker and the cobwebs are lined around the edges of the circular bar counter. A pumpkin with the carving of a butterfly sits on the counter top with a flickering purple light within it. Drinks from the bar will be served in beaker and vial glasses.

Dance Floor and Stage

That stage up there sure looks inviting, as if it's just waiting to have one of its musical guests come on stage and steal the show for a short time. In fact, it's very much encouraged to do just that. While the stage is without a DJ or other performer, a preset playlist of the club's usual music as well as a list of Halloween music will cycle through- just be ready for the Monster Mash to play several times during the night. A skeleton is set up near the speakers, and it seems to 'dance' in time with the music. Up above the stage is a web with an animatronic spider that comes down from its web occasionally with flickering red eyes.

If you look closely through the thin veil of fog on the floor, you may notice reflective decals of monstrous footprints leading to the dance floor, as if trying to hint and lead the guests out to get their dance on. But party goers beware, there may be an impromptu dance to Thriller at some point in the night, and your host may judge every single one of you if you don't get in on it.

VIP Room

The VIP Room is a little less rowdy than the main area of the club, and is meant for a more chill atmosphere compared to the rest of the party. The room has its own stage for anyone to take over separate of the main room, but beware, this stage may have its own different kind of horror: Karaoke.

The tables here also have cobweb and spider lights around them and the lights in the room are a little dimmer, to accommodate the rotating bulb that casts shadow creatures on the walls of the room. You may want to come here if you want to eat an actual meal in peace without all the buzz from the bar area.

Employee Lounge

VIP Room not calm enough? Asking Gale or another After Life employee will grant you access to the employee lounge so you can have a little rest on the couches. The only drinks readily available in here is water over on the counter. The noise from the main area is completely nullified in this room. The party goes on all night, don't be afraid to take a breather.



Guests under 16 will receive a small bag of candy for attending, while guests 16 and older will receive some drink coupons to use at any of the three Gale Force club locations.

[ Usagi shows up, really happy to be here, dressed (thanks to Minako) as a fairy princess. The outfit comes ocmplete with little wings, a glittery tutu, and a sparkly wand.

She's not self-aware enough to worry it's a little on the nose. ]

[ Usagi is looking around. Maybe someone will want to join her for Karaoke? She's not sure if she wants to go up there by herself. ]

[Dray is dressed in a multi colored dress and wearing a small crown. If asked, he will say he's dressed like a human.

Much like her, he's filling the plat he is holding to the brim with all the sweets he can get his hands on.] It really is. We don't have this kind of food in my world, sweets are amazing. And I love your dress, it's really pretty. Specially the wings.

Oh! Thank you! My friend Minako-chan picked them out for me, she has such a good eye for costumes!

[ Usagi started to babble, hyper on sugar, before she even turned to look at Dray.

And then. Her eyes went wide. ]

[ Usagi almost drops her plate, she's so excited ]

Are they real???!

She really does, I can tell. [Dray has chosen his own costume instead. He didn't wear clothes often unless he had to but for a party, he wanted to put on something pretty.

Said ears moved up in surprise, then lowered slightly as the girl spoke. So yes, they were pretty much real.]

They are. I grew them myself. [He gives Usagi a grin. Yes, that was a terrible joke, sue him.] You can touch them if you want. Just don't pull at them.

[ She giggles a the joke, before her eyes went wide again. ]

Really? I can?!

D-don't worry! I'll be super-gentle!

[ Usagi almost drops her plate a second time, as she fumbles around for a place to put it down. Once it's set on a table, she tucks her fairy wand in the belt of her skirt, and then reaches up.

As promised, she very, very gently touches his ears. She has to stand on her toes to do so - she's very short. ]

Aaah, they're really soft!

[Once Dray noticed that she has to make an effort to reach them, he leans forward.Dray's not much taller, being only 1.65 m but the ears are on top of his head after all.]

Thank you. I like to keep my fur soft and clear. It's nice someone notices. I like your hair too, it almost looks like two long bunny ears as well.

[ Usagi stepped away after a few moments - it only occurred to her, then, that it'd be weird to keep petting him, like he was a cat. Well. A real cat. Not that he was fake! Like he wasn't a person. Not that the cats she knew weren't people! (This was confusing.)

She blushed a little at the compliment, pleased. ]

[Deep breaths, Usagi, deep breath. Dray didn't mind the pettings, otherwise he wouldn't have offered. But no, they couldn't do this all night, they had food to try!]

It's a good style. [But no, her name doesn't explain the hairstyle because Dray doesn't even know what japanese is.] Pleasure to meet you, Usagi, I'm Dray Lyell. Have you been in this world for long? I don't remember seeing you on the comm before but maybe I missed your announcements.

[ Usagi grins, and picks up her plate again. She has her prorities. The food here's really, really good. ]

For a couple of days! You probably missed me.

I wouldn't have heard of the party at all, if it wasn't for Minako-chan.

[ She knows, just knows, she'll be sad if she thinks about how much she's going to miss her friends and family.

So she doesn't think about it right now. Remaining cheerful with the aid of sugar! ]

[Haru was dressed as a dark or evil angel, black dress and black feathery wings. It had been simple, but she enjoyed it never the less. She as trying her best to dance like everyone else and was seemingly enjoying herself as she did. After a moment thought she found herself accidentally bumping into the other.]

[She figured since everyone were from different worlds it would make sense that a princess would get caught up in this place. She didn't know if that was a sad thing or not.]

[ Actually it wasn't weird to Usagi at all, but she thought most people without a secret identity fighting enemies from other planets would say that, wouldn't they?

Sixteen is too old, too. Maybe I should've lied. I really don't need all of these drink tickets. Last time I had any I got really sick.

[ ... Realizes what she said, and then turns beet red. ]

I see. Then again most of the people here all come from vastly different places or might know of events you might not know at that moment in time.

[She paused for a moment, so there was at least a minimum of fifteen and below that got the other thing.]

It's fine, I mean if it was an accident it was an accident. I am sure you can always give them to someone else who wants them.

[Of course it's a beautiful costume, Minako's got amazing taste. But she also doesn't mind one little bit sacrificing her costume for her friend who's always sacrificed so much more. The least she can do is make sure her best friend has a great night and feels beautiful and happy. Besides, she's going to make the most of this Pirate of Love thing, she can be way more aggressive with her matchmaking business cards.]

Wow, look at this place! This is mega cool!

The flyer says there's karaoke. And there's gotta be all kinds of cute guys to dance with. Where should we start?

[She has a feeling it's going to be the food, knowing Usagi, but she still wants to let her choose.]

[ Not that the pirate costume wasn't cool! Especially with Minako wearing it, she had this certain set of her hips - Usagi didn't think she could pull it off. Her friend definitely looked like she could steal the treasure of your heart! ]

This place is amazing!!

[ It's a good thing that Usagi didn't know what kind of place the After Life usually was. ]

[ Usagi zooms over there. Whelp. At least she was pretty predictable? ]

[She claps her hands down on her bandanna, as the sheer wind speed from Usagi's burning path to get to the snack table almost blows it clean off her head.]

[Minako giggles. Some things never change, even if Usagi is a year older now. She follows at a more sedate pace, picking up a few things to munch on. Free food is always a plus, especially when she's just starting to make a career for herself.]

Don't give yourself a stomachache! If you eat too much it'll be hard to dance!

[ "Just a few things" seemed to involve sushi, hot dog rolls, little cheese puffs, sushi rolls, brownie bites, and some mini cupcakes.

It's been a while since she's been at a party like this. Well. She's never been to a party quite like this. ]

What do you want to do first? Karaoke? Dancing? Dancing to other people's karaoke?

[Minako doesn't mind a little sushi. It's always good to see Japanese food here! But she avoids the raw fish, just in case any of it is secretly fugu and disgusting.]

Should we do karaoke? That's kind of my best talent, so I shouldn't waste it unless there's at least a couple of cute guys to impress.

[She's got her priorities.]

Dancing sounds fun too, though! Uh...are you okay with that, though? I mean, you might get asked to dance by a hot guy that isn't Mamoru.

[ Aaaand half of her plate is already gone. Seriously. One would think that she's never had a meal that day, the way she's putting away food. ]

[ Usagi is always on board with trying to find her friends an awesome match.

... Minako's question brought up the awkward memories of Seiya's not-a-date with her. She bit her lip at the memory, then shrugged it off. It was. Awkward. But. Nobody knew her here. And at least now she knew better. Hopefully nothing like that would happen again.

She gave Minako a small smile. ]

I'll be okay. I'll just tell them you're free for a dance - and you'll get double the offers that way!
