[ Heyyyyyy it’s Whitley! Looking as clean and kempt as ever! ]

Good day to you all. For those of you who I have yet to enjoy the company of, my name is Whitley Schnee – CEO of the Schnee Company here in Genessia. Some time ago I spoke to the public about efforts to bring the community together, and after the events of last month I think it’s more important than ever to foster that spirit. What better way to do so than with some friendly, good-spirited competition?

In ten days, November 20th, the Schnee Company will be hosting its first Genessia World Cooking Championship. Citizens of any and all cities are welcome to participate, even though the event will be held in Genessia City. What that means is we need two things:

First, of course, we need contestants! I believe the contest will be split into two categories – entrées and desserts. A contestant may only compete in one field, not both. We will provide ingredients and equipment for cooking, so when you enter please let us know what you will be making and what you will need for your dish. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Second, naturally, we need judges. I will be acting as one, but I would like a panel of three to five others in order to assure that multiple palettes are taken into consideration. I may pride myself on good taste, but that hardly means only mine should be taken into consideration!

If you are interested in either aspect, you can contact the Genessia City branch of the Schnee Company to either enter as a contestant or apply as a judge.

No, definitely not! My friends say I have very adventurous tastes. I have to also consider what's on sale and what my grocery budget can afford, while also satisfying my need to try new things.

Honestly I haven't met too many people who like the same things I do. Maybe I'm just not that picky?

I have no objections, but I'd rather hold that contest at a separate venue. After all, if it is a one-on-one competition, the rules and procedures should be adjusted accordingly.

Of course. We'll arrange our own venue after the event, though you'd be invited to judge. We'll have to explain what a shokugeki is and decide on a theme, things like that anyway.

Do you need any help outside of judges and contestants?

[ Weiss is really only qualified to judge and she doesn't wanna get involved in that since it's Whitley's show!! But she'll totally help with like, driving to the farmer's market to buy ingredients or argue with a florist about decorations or whatever he might need. Anything except clean-up really. ]

I take delight in proving those wrong who feel I'm too young to run a company - I would be rather a hypocrite to bar someone from my own competition on those very grounds.

Ordinarily I wouldn't volunteer for something like this, but I've some free time. I would be more than happy to offer my services as a judge. My accomplishments would mean little to anyone here, but as a demonstration of my abilities I will provide two dishes for each contestant to sample before they begin cooking their own; of course, I will also make enough for the other judges to try. I will not be entering the contest with these dishes, though; I've more than enough coin already.
